No, it gets hot when i put battery inside it even though i dont put the phone on. e.g i put the ba3 of anoda s3 that was 82% charged into my phone, the phone gradually started heating up, (mind u i havent even put the phone on) i left it for like 30 mins and removed the ba3 and put it back into the s3 i removed it from, and it had gone down to 14%. my phone will only start cooling when u remove the ba3, or if the ba3 is dead. its like the phone is rapidly sucking away the energy in any ba3 u put in it and then heating up. if i try to charge the ba3 it will show me a yellow triangle with a thermometer and go blank.

i plugged my samsung galaxy s3, & after 2hrs, it showed ' charging paused, temperature too high' then the screen went blank. the phone was hot. then i removed d ba3, waited a bit for d phone to cool, then put it back, i put the phone on & d ba3 had dropped from 53% to 14%, and the phone became hot again. i removed it again, waited 4 d fone to cool, & put it back, put the fone on, this time d ba3 was at 5%. d fone became hot again, then dropped to 0% and went off. i left it 4 8hrs. then i plugged it again, it will just show me a yellow triangle & a thermometer and wil go off. i then charged d ba3 with desktop for 2hrs. i put it, put the phone on, it showed me 2% then dropped to 1, then 0, then went off. the thing is anytime i put the ba3 in the phone, it will become hot. even if i dont put d phone on. if i remove it , the phone will gradually cool. i iave changed d ba3, yet no change. d new ba3 i put was at 82% when i put it on. d fone was hot. i put it off, on again after 2hr it was 2%. help.
