Tell me anytime they’ve done something nationally reasonable; When the Ikorodu bank robbery took place, was it SARS that brought them to book? The Ejigbo area bank robbery was it SARS, the Apo Abuja bank robbery was it SARS? the Offa Kwara state bank robbery where they even used bombs or maybe dynamites, was it SARS who went? The Nsk Enugu bank robbery where about 5/6 banks were robbed that took hours, was it SARS? The Ogun state bank robbery where the robbers had to run because they met a fire power that seemed to matched theirs even though the man who took it upon himself to dislodge them was killed, was it SARS? The Lekki, Agbara and Festac bank robberies was it SARS? These criminals that brought nightmares to Lagos during the lockdown, was it SARS, Evans the kidnapper was it SARS, Ngwu Egere Omu the invincible, was it SARS?

If SARS will not listen to the IGP who is responsible for them, who can hire and fire them. What reforms will they follow through with, the same day the IGP disbanded them, they went about their usual harassments as were reported in Enugu, Delta and several other parts of Lagos. They were even resisted in Ikeja, thanks to the Lion heart of the people.

The NPF has lots of units that combat crime in various ways and at different levels, they’re all guilty of human rights abuse on Nigerians but non can be compared to what SARS is doing, they’ve been asked to wear uniforms and move in marked vehicles, tell me if they did.

This is what I think; the person(s) conducting the interview have concluded they must lie to the ministry of sports of FG about his salary, when the capital is released. His, without any issues will be paid into his own account while the other will be paid into another account. If you ask me, it’ll just last a few weeks then they’ll transfer to their various accounts or withdraw and share. The only reason they informed him was to get his acquiescence thus, approval so that he’ll stand by what was agreed should questions be asked... My humble hypothesis.
