How I come to my conclusions is simple, I read the Gospels as I would any other book out there, keeping my personal biases and "special interpretations" out of it. All that is needed to understand what is written therein is basic language comprehension skills and ability to think critically.

I understand the human need to label that which one does not understand but if instead you would take your focus off my person long enough to read my response, you would maybe realize that you may have had Jesus wrong all this while since everything I stated is according to what Jesus Christ Himself taught.

I am just a human being who happens to accept and trust in the teachings of Jesus Christ, exactly what Jesus Christ said to do..nothing more.

The truth of God ought to speak for itself where those who believe in Him are concerned. Unfortunately, many who claim to believe in Him do not accept and obey His teachings and that is where the problem comes from.

Jesus Christ commands that His followers deny self, take up their cross in order to follow Him. Anyone who enters into public service is expected to devotes his/her life to carrying the crosses of the people .I.e. bearing responsibility for their well-being, against the commandment of Jesus Christ. So?

The same Jesus Christ commanded His disciples against having for themselves to masters, making it obvious you cannot serve God and serve the will of men or even the people as is expected of those who enter into world politics.

The same Jesus Christ commanded that His disciples to love their enemies and pray for them meaning anyone who belongs to Him but chooses to occupy a seat of power cannot do to His enemies as the world would expect, or compete with said enemies in the way the world does. Politics does not allow for such behavior.

Now the same Jesus Christ openly declares to His followers that indeed they are barred from wielding power in the way as the gentiles do. In gentile politics power is the name of the game and so politicians are expected to gather for themselves power which they flaunt in order to get their way in any decision.

When you put all of this together, and are able to get past your personal biases, how can you not see that indeed what Jesus Christ said in Matthew 20 vs 20-28, in fact goes along with His entire message of Truth.?

This is what I've discovered in this religion section.Everyone comes here with their own unnegotiable opinion determined to defend it to the last.It's just like being in a discussion with someone and you're quiet not because you're listening to the person but cos you're deliberating on what you'll say once he's done.People basically come here to argue and those who are actually seeking the truth are just floating in the air.Besides,it seems this thread has been hijacked by the Jehovah's witnesses.

Well, what can I say? They've been killing young people without conscience.This shows that even little children might not be safe.

Technology has made so many things possible.A man once said that he did something to his phone that makes his wife see whatever he does on his phone.I don't know how it's done but I think it's possible.You could do that same thing with someone you respect as a mentor in your Christian walk.Whenever you are tempted to look,you know that someone has access to your activity history and you'll be discouraged.You need someone you can be accountable to.Also, eliminate all forms of temptation from your phone,system, cos you can never be too strong to fall.If you see any woman and your mind tells you to look again, do not take a second look.Prayerfully do these things and I believe you'll see results.
