Guys, sometimes the darkest stories are not the ones we hear from far places… Sometimes, they happen right here among us… in our own communities. We bring you the heartbreaking and disturbing story of a respected Federal Road Safety Corps officer, Funmilayo Lasisi, and her young daughter, Sewa, who were lured from Ogun State and brutally murdered in Osun State.

A case that shocked the nation… A case that raised questions about trust, betrayal, and the dangerous things people do in the name of “spiritual consultation.” This… is their story.

Funmilayo Lasisi was not just an FRSC officer; she was a mother, a dedicated worker, and someone people described as calm, peaceful, and hardworking. She lived in Ogun State with her daughter Sewa, a bright young girl full of dreams.
She had a relationship with a man named Victor Fajemirokun. What started as a normal relationship later took a dark turn that nobody could have predicted.

According to police reports, everything began when Victor claimed that a cleric told him that Funmilayo had “taken his glory” spiritually. Instead of seeking help or ending the relationship, Victor decided to confront the situation in a dangerous way. He allegedly lured Funmilayo and her daughter to Osun State under the pretence of visiting someone. Funmilayo trusted him. Sewa trusted him. They had no reason to fear.

But what waited for them in Osun… was nothing close to what they expected. Reports from the Osun State Police Command revealed that Victor did not act alone. He allegedly involved a local herbalist who promised to “restore his spiritual glory.”
This was where the story became even darker… and more shocking. The herbalist reportedly told Victor that the “solution” to his problem required sacrifices, a horrifying instruction that set the stage for a tragedy no one could imagine.

When Funmilayo and her daughter arrived in Osun, they were taken to a remote area. According to the suspects’ confessions, the two victims were overpowered. The mother and daughter were killed in cold blood. What made the story even more disturbing was that when police eventually found the bodies, some parts were missing, confirming fears that the murder was ritual-motivated. It was a terrifying discovery that shook residents and the entire nation.

When Funmilayo and her daughter didn’t return home, their family raised alarm. Police began tracking her phone records, last contacts, and movement history. That was how the investigation led officers to Osun State. A search team went into the bush areas around the suspects’ location… And then, the heartbreaking discovery was made.
The bodies of Funmilayo and Sewa were found in a shallow grave… dismembered… and abandoned like they didn’t matter.

Excellent! Every Nation does well to put its interests first above all else. Nigeria, instead of working hard at nation building was busy at Africa as centre of its foreign policy with little to show for it. Indeed! Nnamdi Kanu deserves the death penalty! The Judge was unduly sentimental in the sentencing aspect of the proceedings. Truth is, Nnamdi Kanu is not remorseful and has demonstrated the capability to run terrorism from prison. He should have been taken out outright. The lives he wasted directly or indirectly are precious lives as well. The Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court where they are less sentimental might just let him have what he truly deserves which is the death sentence!

If the Judge enters the Courtroom wearing a colour Lawyers no so well Nnamdi Kanu is a goner unless the appeal courts think differently. The Judgment is replete with the truth. The judge was extremely patient with the loose canon Nnamdi Kanu had become. Quite cowardly as he could not face the court in judgment. He knew all the evidence would be out in the open. It was wicked of him to have terrorised others - even Ndigbo!

Awomolo (SAN), prosecuting counsel urged the Court to place him in the safest custodial centre in the country (not Kuje) for his safety, he should be restricted and barred from using the social media and the maximum sentence (death penalty) be meted out to the convict who has shown habitual unruly behaviour.

Obi Aguocha, Hon Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency (Kanu's home Constituency) pleaded for clemency and mercy on the defendant whose trial has gone on for close to 10 years.

Today, Nnamdi Kanu reaps the fruits of his labour. He haas been running away from that but the day has come for him to pay! As predicted, Nnamdi Kanu turned extremely rabid when the court ruled against his three motions on notice all clearly calculated to prevent the Judgment from being delivered. The scene was thoroughly shameful and absolutely contemptuous of the Court and cast Ndigbo in very bad light. He was promptly removed from the courtroom. It is fairly obvious that Nnamdi Kanu is seriously afraid of the consequences of his terrorist activities for which he is on trial. He appears not man enough to face up to the consequences of his terrorist actions and is doing all he can to stop the delivery of judgment fixed for today. In view of the effect of s.266 (1) (a) ACJA 2015 the proceedings went on in his absence and Judgment delivered. It remains to be seen what he intends to argue on appeal!! Judgment has now been delivered and contains enough for Britain and the United States of America to try him for terrorism! Sentencing is awaited. Whether or not he constitutes a continuing danger to the society will weigh on the mind of the Judge as he decides how to go: whether to rub him out or sentence him to life jail. Can he continue his terrorist action even in jail? Certainly so considering his followership. The Judge will decide. Ndigbo are not telling themselves the truth about Nnamdi Kanu in this matter or are scared to do so and that is quite sad.

He is not an innocent man. Nnamdi Kanu just got convicted for terrorism and that is something Ndigbo are largely afraid to say openly! He will be sentenced shortly. If he escapes the death penalty he should thank God. Prosecution asks for the death sentence.
