No court has acquitted KANU of his ongoing terrorism case.

The Appeal court only ruled on the legality of his extraordinary rendition and said it contravened both Nigerian and international law and ordered the FG to return KANU to Kenya and begin the process of rendition within legal means.

The Supreme Court set aside the Appeal court verdict on the grounds that KANU was already sanding trial for serious crimes of national importance and ruled that KANU was first a fugitive at large and that the extraordinary rendition even though an illegality if both Nigerian and international law did not hold because KANU had lost his protection of the court after jumping bail from where he continued his terrorism activities.

I too have never voted in any election in any country thus far in my life, because my presumption is that the results are usually predetermined anyway. All the same, I eagerly look forward to seeing Nazi Nnamdi Kanu's face when his well-deserved multi-decade terrorism jail sentence verdict is handed down very soon. That will be most entertaining, and millions of Igbo people will heave a sigh of relief to see the terror kingpin go down for many years of hard time in prison.

On the day of his verdict, Kanu will shout and scream no doubt, as bailiffs bundle him out of court and off to his new home behind bars, where he will quickly be forgotten by all except his most devoted cult followers.

Let’s even be honest; how many Nigerians have seen 7.5 million at once in their account before? Some people’s total life savings, business capital, and village land inheritance isn't even up to that.

At this rate, when you enter the banking hall, they might soon start checking your account balance before allowing you to sit on their chair or drink water from their dispenser.

No wonder people are running to OPAY and PalmPay like it’s Noah’s Ark. When you have sense, you adapt, but when you have greed, you lose customers. And trust Nigerians, once they see free transfers and zero balance, loyalty changes immediately.

But to be honest, 2026 no go funny at all. The economy is tightening like a new shoe. Food, rent, fuel, now even bank accounts want to join the suffering.

We really need to plan financially. Cut unnecessary expenses. Save where you can. Invest small, even if it’s in your local hustle. Because the way things are going, it's not looking funny anymore.

The court proceedings today proved to be more dramatic than expected. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu presented a motion that the trial judge reluctantly accepted. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu requested that the court identify the law under which he was being tried, but the court refused as usual.
After persistent persuasion from MNK, the judge instructed him to read the charges aloud, and upon doing so, it became apparent that MNK was being tried under a non-existent law. Consequently, the judge angrily scheduled judgment for the 20th of November.

Sad that all these meetings and maneuvres did not happen before now. Those Muslim Fulani jihadists went about unhindered as they took lives in their hundreds and thousands, destroyed properties, kidnapped, caused havoc.

At some point, the president turned deaf and blind. Not even a comment about the events. But once something happens abroad, he'd rush to tweet about it.

Since the past week or so, the president and his people have been busy, jumping from one point to the other. The military 🪖 now posting news of captured and killed terrorists.

The black man never disappoints. He only thinks of himself, his pockets, his family. Tinubu was busy pursuing a second term in 2025. His boys online were always active, attacking and causing chaos online. To them, everything is politics.

Now the killings, once thought by presidents before Tinubu (and Tinubu) to be politics have now attracted international attention. All of a sudden, the Sultan, under whose watch Deborah was killed, is in Abuja.

Whoever defends these leaders should be studied.
