This one de compare range wey no get second hand value with Mercedes... once range enter 50k miles, otilo... once u buy range just know say the car go loose 70 to 80% of its monetary value , even if u drive am for a year .. that car na total nonsense. . . The worst luxury suv on earth...no difference between that suv and volks wagon Tuareg
You are wrong when you say Range has no second hand value! Usually, they end up used as towing vehicles on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where it competes favourably with Isuzu Trooper and Mitsubishi Montero!!!😂

You all should allow Israel handle Gaza the way the want, imagine if a neighboring country comes into France and kill over 100 persons with several others kidnapped, will Macron still take same stands he is taking today?
difficult question to answer. on a good day you cannot trust the French to be straightforward and bold. the French would rather use the corner!

Strangely you omitted to mention the October 7 massacre of Jews by Hamas.
Family › Re: My Elder Sister Has Cut All Of Us Off - What Can I Do? by zoedew: 8:03pm On Sep 23, 2025
Beerbeer:
We are four siblings in my family: two boys who are twins and two girls. When my mum passed, my elder sister stood in as a parent for us. She paid for our university education and sent us monthly allowances for feeding. In fact, three of us would have dropout if not for her. Even when I graduated from school, she was still sending me 30k every month, pending when I get a job. This is in addition to also sending same to my siblings and my father. She has done this for close to 10 years without complaint.

Recently, I finished a project that paid me 2.1 million. This is how I spent the money:
I gave 500k to my church to thank them for getting me the job.
300k to my father.
100k to my stepmum.
100k to my second sister.
Bought 700k laptop to help with my coding job.
I used the rest to pay rent, change my wardrobe, clearance from school, and feeding.

My elder sister found out from my twin brother and got angry because I didn't tell her anything about the job or the money. She was also angry because I didn't set aside money for my twin brother going to law school this year.

To be honest, I didn't think it was a big deal to tell her. I knew my twin was in safe hands cos she was already handling that so I didn't bother. Before now, she had already paid the law school fees (about 500k). So I thought it was settled. I tried to reason with her but she refused to hear.

She was also angry I didn't tell her about the laptop. I knew I messed up here because she was the one that encouraged me to pick up coding and even bought my first laptop. I told her I wanted to finalize everything but it made her angry tye more. She blocked me and I also found out she blocked everyone else including our father.

All these happened in April. I thought she would calm down by now. But I just discovered that she has moved out of our state without telling anyone. She has blocked all the numbers we tried to reach her.

My twin brother said she only sends him allowance for law school (100k every month) and has blocked his number so he won't contact her. He is the only person she sends money to now as she has stopped giving us as before.

I am so confused. Why is she acting like this? Shouldn't she be happy for me? Nairalanders help me.

TheBizGenius:
Thank you for this.

This new generation of youths in Nigeria has lost it. Truthfully.

The principles they are clamoring for?

1. While desiring something, behave like a mumu and make/sign agreements. Break those agreements once you have gotten what you want. Don't care about the relationship.
2. Be ungrateful to someone who helped you while down and embrace new people once you are "big" although those ones will never help you.

It is this attitude that makes banks or investors not trust youths; you help, they grow and suddenly go rogue.

PS
My comment is not based on politics or governance. It is based on the relationship between an oga and his protégé and what they agreed in secret.

If you can not abide by an agreement, let another person who will abide by it come in and enjoy both the advantages and disadvantages of it.
Critical life lessons learned! Thank you for sharing!! In interpersonal relationships, international politics, business relationships they hold true!

Chai, the doomed supporters would be so confused with this
Back then when Fubara crossed swords with Wike and demolished the Rivers State House of Assembly I told them here it would end up this way but they wouldn’t listen and urged him on to his political ruination. Ingratitude is a very bad thing and brings shame and loss of integrity to the individual. Okay for him to retrace his steps and stop listening to the personal enemies of Wike intent on using him to get at Wike. All is well that ends well for Fubara whose Sim lost signal before but is now back on the network!

Former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, on Saturday, made a surprise appearance at the wedding ceremony of the son of former Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, in Abuja.

The event, which drew several high-profile guests, including traditional rulers and political leaders, was held in the Federal Capital Territory. Mr. Peter Obi has just arrived at the ongoing wedding of Rotimi Amaechi’s son today in Abuja.
Peter Obi was, as usual, mournfully present there.

I admire the courage of Excel College in admitting that the incidents actually happened.
And that necessary disciplinary actions had been taken and prevention of further re-currence.
Unlike our security agencies that always deny first, only to later admit.
What is there to admire? Is a denial possible in the face of clear evidence? That was the only option available!!! Close down that school and withdraw its approval.

Very detailed response here. It is good disciplinary messures were taken then and there is evidence to that effect that can be made available to the state government team. I hope with the measures put in place, it doesn't happen ever again.
That school should be closed down by the LASG and its approval withdrawn. No middle ground!!

Penguin2:
Where are the contractors? The ocean?

Cuz you can’t say contractor mobilized to site and no single caterpillar in sight.

All you need to do is pass through the East-West and Benin-Ore Expressways to understand why people like Peter Obi and every other reasonable Nigerian opposed the idea of the Lagos-Calabar Highway 🛣.

Because the reasonable thing would have been to fix our existing roads before embarking on a humongous new one in the magnitude of the Lagos-Calabar highway.

But we seem to have a lot of unthinking humans as our leaders and their supporters.
How do you fix insecurity that is endemic on the East West, Benin-Ore, South East corridor largely traceable to IPOB and Biafra demanders who make trips to South-South a nightmare? That Lagos- Calabar road has provided a good alternative!

I know we like to sound very spiritual but I won't spiritualize this at all. In all your comments you didn't think it's abnormal to change pastor 5 times in one year?? This same politics has driven many pastors and members away from the church and you are talking about Kora and Abiram? Let's face reality for once nau. It is human beings that do the postings and we know that their decisions are almost always political
You don't seem to understand that in the circumstances you described it is best in prayers to leave the matter to God who owns the church or leave and attend some other Parish or church. If you know God at all you will understand that it amounts to getting in His way to do what the Parishioners did and God takes no prisoners when it comes to such matters!! May you not go the way of Korah, Dothan and Abiram! Do I hear you say "Amen"!
