A huge joke this must be! The RCCG should simply close down that Parish! The protesting Parishioners can go and start a church of their own where they can do as pleases them. Bunch of misguided and rebellious folks after the order of Korah , Dothan and Abiram!! They are playing with fire and it will burn them all unless they repent quickly!

is both annoying and demeaning to find Nigerians bring us so low in the eye of the world by such conduct as this. Is U.K. heaven? Why can’t we do all that is required to make our space safe and self sustaining in all ramifications such that such sojourns are necessarily few and far between! Politicians wake up and let’s throw the yoke off our necks!!!

Wike, in collaboration with Tinubu really humbled this man sha!

Well, it's politics. He's learned his lessons and is moving on. Chop, I chop!
Back then I told his supporters in here to see the handwriting on the wall but they wouldn’t listen. They urged him to continue in betrayal and the deplorable manner of being an ingrate to Wike who helped him to power. All Fubara had to do was to maintain the political structure that brought him to power with some of the funds legitimately allocated to him but he refused choosing instead to incite the populace against Wike. Now, they are as quiet as a just disciplined dog! Wisdom has no substitute. I doubt if he will go to any gathering of people to hold up the Governor’s pen and brag with the office of the Governor!

The audio recording he has just provided is now in public domain both for you and the relevant anti corruption agency.

What other civilization are you expecting?

Can you negate all sowore has said about Wike?

What is preventing this your anti corruption agency from using it to do the needful?

Why should he argue anything before an agency?

Is an agency a court of law?
If indeed it constitutes a petition to the anti-corruption agency then my hands are up! I am not a partisan politician.

Lol cheesy, which of the agencies do you think will nail a prominent APC govt official, Tinubu or Wike?

Let's start from this 👆 question first. grin

Yeye dey smell, you guys are ready yet walahi. angry angry
I agree with you that the first question needs to be answered. The answer is that the fact of a refusal to investigate Wike and Tinubu would have put Sowore in good stead to challenge the government of the day but that has not been shown to be so.

Sowore is an ill-mannered and uncivilised person. If you find fault with Wike, Tinubu and any Government official Sowore, please forward a petition to the relevant anti-corruption agency and advocate vigorously for your petition to receive attention.

Yet the road linking Ado Ekiti the State Capital to EVERYWHERE -Ido, Aramoko, Itawure, Erie, ILESA et al is in a terrible state of disrepair! I strongly disagree! Oyebanji should simply go away! The saddest part is that their appears to be a dire paucity in Ekiti of capable leaders as alternative!!
Politics › Re: Wike Hails Tinubu For Lifting Rivers Emergency Rule by zoedew:
One hopes Fubara returns more mature in the art of politics and governance.
1. Until you have power in the real sense of the word you do not act as one who has power. Fubara has learnt so now.
2. Your crowd is only as strong as the power you wield otherwise they will soon scatter in disarray. Where is Jakes Epelle now in all of these? Where is Anker Briggs in all of these now? Where are all of his supporters here on Nairaland who hailed and edged him on to his political ruin! All fury and no fight!!
3. Wiser to hold on to the hands that led you to where you are seated otherwise you will be unseated! Fubara will be wise to keep a back channel for Wike going forward otherwise he will sweat out of discomfort all his remaining days as Rivers State Governor. A WORD, THEY SAY, IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE!

Nefort:
There are more important things to invest in using the huge money they are spending on this project. Nobody is complaining about the distance from Lagos to Calabar and how long it currently takes to travel within these two cities as long as the existing roads are motorable.

There is something Tinubu is not saying about this project because the reasons you guys are providing for spending so much money on this project doesn't make sense. There is a hidden agenda he is not mentioning. Maybe he is using it to loot country. It would have been a nice project if the country was so rich and had so much spend.
You prefer the construction of the train from Nigeria to Maradi in Niger Republic instead bah? Wicked Maj.Gen. Buhari set out to do that!

Start with the important things first. Nobody is saying you shouldn't build roads. We already have roads linking Calabar to Lagos. Use the money invested in this project to solve important issues like power supply, industrialization and Agriculture. When we have spare cash we can then build more roads.
Which roads presently link Calabar to Lagos?

I still find it hard to understand the wisdom behind this infrastructure expenditure. Good as it may be, we have better things to do than the amount spent or to be spent on this.

BAT's idea against the whole of the country.

Opportunity right and left.
See it this way:
1. It opens up that corridor to commerce and fee flow of human traffic which is good for Nigeria in many other ways. They are entitled to it.
2. It ensures South-South folks can access their space from the other parts of Nigeria without having to pass through the South-East that agitates for Biafra. Biafra just might come tomorrow and they will set out to annex minorities in the South-South. They have made no secret of that going by the grotesque maps of Biafra they have out there. It is strategic to put the alternative route in place NOW. You will recall how dangerous it has been for a while now to access the South-South passing through the South-East of Nigeria.
