The multimedia available in the social media depicts the man as a con artist and 419er. Watch the Federation broach worn on his dress like a placard not to talk of the out of place jewellery on his suit! All the signs were screaming “see me”! He cuts the picture of the fraudulent guy who took pictures in the CBN the other day to deceive foreign businessmen. He is a yahoo yahoo person! Scammer!!! His collaborators in government should be exposed! |

Technology Market › Re: Smart Digital Podium Vs Wooden Lectern: Which Would You Choose? by zoedew: 2:09pm On Jul 08 |
branditprintit: If you were setting up a church, school, university, conference room, or event hall today, would you choose a Smart Digital Podium or stick with a traditional wooden lectern?
Both serve the same basic purpose of supporting a speaker, but they offer very different presentation experiences. As technology continues transforming education, business, and public speaking, many organizations are asking whether a digital solution is worth the investment.
What Is a Smart Digital Podium?
A Smart Digital Podium is an all-in-one presentation station that combines a lectern with modern technology. Instead of simply holding notes, it can include a touch screen, built-in computer, microphone, speakers, USB and HDMI ports, wireless presentation support, and internet connectivity.
Many models also function as an interactive digital lectern, allowing presenters to display slides, videos, websites, and documents without relying on several external devices.
What Makes Wooden Lecterns Popular?
Traditional wooden lecterns remain popular because they are simple, elegant, and durable. They require almost no maintenance and fit naturally into churches, conference halls, schools, and government buildings.
For speeches that only require a microphone and printed notes, a wooden lectern still performs well. However, once multimedia presentations become necessary, additional equipment must usually be added.
Comparing Both Options
Here are some noticeable differences.
Smart Digital Podium
Built-in computer and touchscreen HDMI and USB connectivity Wireless presentation capability Integrated microphone and speakers Suitable for hybrid meetings Professional appearance Supports multimedia presentations
Wooden Lectern
Simple and easy to use Lower initial cost Minimal maintenance Elegant traditional design Requires external projector or laptop for digital presentations Which Environments Benefit Most?
A Smart Digital Podium works especially well in:
Universities Schools Corporate boardrooms Conference centres Government institutions Hotels Training centres Churches Exhibition halls Event venues
Traditional wooden lecterns remain suitable for:
Small churches Community halls Courtrooms Basic conference rooms Ceremonial events Public speaking without multimedia Is the Higher Price Worth It?
A wooden lectern usually costs less initially. However, many organizations eventually purchase projectors, laptops, microphones, speakers, and extra cabling to support presentations.
A Smart Digital Podium integrates many of these features into one system, reducing equipment clutter while improving presentation quality. For organizations that regularly deliver training, conferences, seminars, or worship services, this can become a worthwhile long-term investment.
The Growing Trend
Across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin, Enugu, Uyo, Warri, Asaba, Kano, and even neighbouring countries like Accra, Abidjan, Cotonou, Lomé, Monrovia, Freetown, and Dakar, more organizations are adopting digital presentation technology.
As hybrid meetings and interactive learning become more common, intelligent presentation systems continue gaining popularity.
My Take
If presentations only involve reading prepared notes, a wooden lectern remains a practical choice.
If your organization frequently uses PowerPoint, videos, online meetings, digital teaching materials, or live demonstrations, a Smart Digital Podium offers significantly greater flexibility and creates a more engaging experience for audiences.
Technology continues changing how people communicate, and presentation furniture is evolving with it.
What would you choose—a traditional wooden lectern or a Smart Digital Podium?
I'd be interested to hear your reasons.

Burob: Northerners vote for an Igbo man , very unlikely. Correct! Not with the way the Igbo ( with very few exceptions) have carried on so far. The Igbo must liberate themselves from the victim mentality and take measures to endear themselves to the rest of the country. For anyone who cares to listen, the electoral showing Peter Obi had at the last Presidential elections in the North is based on religious sentiments and that is shifting sands to stand on in electoral endeavours. Kwaks is the guy that stands to benefit from the NDC OK ticket as it affords him the political visibility in the South of Nigeria he badly needs to contest the Presidency in 2031 when it is the turn of the North to produce the President of Nigeria. By the way, Atiku is just wasting his time. At best, Atiku will only reduce the margin by which Tinubu (who is not my candidate for the office and will not have my vote because he failed to keep his word in the power sector) is likely to win the 2027 Presidential Elections. I wish folks like Osinbajo, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala et al were on the ballot but Nigerians would appear not to know what is good for them! Just imagine the fake agency scandal presently unfolding and the President on whose table the buck stops in a Presidential system of government is playing the Ostrich in the matter! Even Buhari, The Wicked and Inept One, found some liver to sack Babachir Lawal the SGF to his government whose hands got stuck in the cookie jar while trying to steal government money in the name of cutting grass!!! Till date, Femi Gbajabiamila the serial thief disbarred form practicing Law in the USA for stealing client money and fingered as a suspect in the scandal is still the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu and will remain so in the next thirty days while ICPC investigates the matter! Who does that!!! Gbajabiamila, as Chief of Staff is very well placed to destroy and alter evidence in the matter in the bid to slant the optics of the ICPC in getting at the truth of the matter which is out in the open already! Even a fool knows that a deal was done to use the fake agency to suck funds out of the Federal Budget!!! Anyone who pretends not to know who the major actors are in the scandal has forgotten what a plate of rice looks like! |

OredoPikin: Kwankwaso is a child's play to you abi. Even with an unknown VP in 2023 and when he was relatively unknow there, he pulled over 2million votes from same North. Is it now that he is known and north tire of Tinubu plus kwakwanso waves u think he won't get northern support. Continue making yourself feel better I am not a Tinubu fan fyi. However, post 2027 elections please remember to come back here so we can compare notes. So you can know, Kwaks is only using this time out to pump up his visibility and value in the South generally preparatory to his bid for the Presidency when it is the turn of the North after 2027. Kwaks presently commands a large following in Kano which has been fragmented by Ganduje and the other political heavy weights joining their APC lot and that whittles down his votes. Kwaks won't dare push Peter Obi in other parts of the North preferring instead to stand behind Peter Obi less such visibility damage him politically in the eyes of the political North who will tag him as a ----- follower. |
Politics › Re: 2027 Wont Be About Tinubu Failure, It Is About Stopping Obi At All Costs by zoedew: 3:00am On Jul 07 |
This argument denies the reality of what it takes to win the Presidential election in Nigeria. Without securing the votes up north Peter Obi will not win. His wily ways are enough to put off Northern voters. |
