2015 was a consternation year for mostly people living east.

Atmosphere of prejudice, threats and downright disengagement of the easterners hung around the igbos.

Most people threaten the igbos with being obsolete, some made jokes the East would be abandoned for worst.

The led to statements like “politically insignificant, 5 percenters, wailers etc” being tossed around once “Eastern Nigeria” is mentioned.

After Bill and Melinda Gates announced their separation this week, various old rumors and reports that swirled during their relationship have begun to resurface.

Perhaps the most prominent of the bunch first emerged in a 1997 profile in Time magazine, where the Microsoft founder explained that he and ex-girlfriend Ann Winblad would have yearly weekend vacations at her beach cottage in North Carolina during his marriage to Melinda.

Both Gates and his ex, who the New York Post reports is now married to Alex Kline, would “play putt-putt while discussing biotechnology,” as Gates said. He began taking the yearly trip when the pair first dated in 1984 after meeting at a computer conference.

“When I was off on my own thinking about marrying Melinda, I called Ann and asked for her approval,” Gates said.

During their trips, Gates and Winblad—a software expert from Seattle— would hang-glide and take walks on the beach. “We share our thoughts about the world and ourselves,” Winblad said. “And we marvel about how, as two young overachievers, we began a great adventure on the fringes of a little-known industry and it landed us at the center of an amazing universe.”

In another more widely known tidbit about their marriage that’s once again making the rounds, Gates actually drafted up a pros and cons list about marrying Melinda, which she walked in on him doing.

“I took the idea of marriage very seriously,” Bill said in the Netflix documentary, Inside Bill’s Brain. “You know, we cared a lot for each other and there were only two possibilities: either, we were going to break up or we were going to get married.”

Bill and Melinda announced their split following 27 years of marriage and the creation of their successful Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The day of the announcement, Gates gave Melinda $1.8 billion worth of stock, TMZ reports. According to documents obtained by the outlet, she received more than 14 million shares of Canadian National Railway Co. and over 2.9 million shares of AutoNation Inc.

I don't know for sure but really think he sold his majority stake in NL. The Brilliant Oga used to proudly update the site regularly with new and improved bells and whistles. That is no longer the case. And one has to wonder why the new general manager or owner allows the tribal war to fester daily.

In 1959, a year before Nigeria’s independence, a 23-year-old student helped colour the country’s identity.

Sixty-two years after a British journalist first suggested the name “Nigeria”, a 23-year-old Ibadan-born student gave the new country its national flag.

Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi was studying engineering at Norwood Technical College in London when he saw a newspaper advert calling on people to enter a competition to design the Nigerian flag.

He mailed his submission to Lagos a short time later, and in October of the following year received a letter inviting him to the London office of the Commissioner for Nigeria in the United Kingdom, where he was told that his green and white design had been selected. He had won 100 pounds ($281 in 1959) as well as a place in Nigeria’s history books.

It was October 1959, exactly a year before Nigeria’s independence.

Akinkunmi is now a retired civil servant who resides in one of the poorer areas of Ibadan, in a green and white house that can only be reached on foot. Separated from his wife for about two decades, his only live-in companion is his 28-year-old son.

He does not have a phone and last owned a car in the early 1990s. But he enjoys walking through the neighbourhood and further afield to visit two friends from his school days. These excursions add colour to his days.

The furthest he recently travelled was a visit to Abuja in 2014, where he received a national honour from then-president Goodluck Jonathan. He was also given a lifetime’s salary of a presidential special assistant – around 800,000 naira (roughly $4,000) is now paid into his account every month. Akinkunmi is effusive as he remembers that day, but he cannot recall what Jonathan said to him. He also has trouble remembering the names of his two oldest friends.

Then, in 2008, Olaniran was contacted through his blog by a representative of the Nigerian edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, asking to be put in touch with Akinkunmi . For his appearance on a special edition of the TV show, Akinkunmi was given a cheque for two million naira (around $10,000). This was the money his son says was used to complete the green and white building they now live in.

I started jogging last year after quitting for more than 4 years. I have been having pains around my kneecap and my legs in general after jogging, and most times I can't stand on my legs the next day. I have had to stop to recuperate then continue, the pain continues. I have even had to build endurance, hoping the pains would go if I continue jogging everyday, it only got worst. Now I jog only on Saturdays and I still tend to feel pains around my legs and knee the next Saturday.

I would really love to go jogging at least 4 times in a week. Please guys what do I do?

Please I will like to know if there are drugs I can take for the pain or for quick relief?

Also are there any food supplements I can take to strengthened my bones?
