PhonesHow To Enable The Screen Pinning Feature On Android by zumen(op): 4:05am On Feb 09, 2017
Android devices comes with a lot of features but only very few individual are able to explore these features.

Today I’m going to show you another features on your android device in which some people are not even aware of how it works while some others are already exploring it.

‘Screen Pinning’ allows you to pin (lock) the screen to a certain app. This is one of the useful features in Android 5.0 and above. When enabled, you can lock down your device so the person using it only has access to one app. undoubtedly, a convenient feature for those who often offer a device to a child to watch a movie/games or a friend to check his or her e-mail.

How to Enable Screen Pinning on Your Android Device?

Launch the Settings app on your Android device.
Scroll down until you find the Security option. Tap on it.
At the bottom of the Security page tap on Screen pinning.
Slide the switch to the On position.

How to Pin an App?

To pin an app, tap on the overview button (it’s the square button along the bottom of your screen).
Drag the title bar for the app you’re going to pin up, until it’s in the middle of the screen.

In the bottom-right corner of the app overview will be a blue pin button. Tap on it.
Each time you pin an app, you’ll be asked to confirm the action. You’ll also have to decide if you want to require a security code to leave the pinned app.
Tap on Start to pin the app.

Once the app is pinned, the user can navigate anywhere within the app, but he or she can’t leave it. So if you pin Chrome, the user will be able to browse the Internet, but that’s it.

Technology MarketDo You Know 40% Of Internet Staffs Aren’t Human by zumen(op): 6:14am On Feb 08, 2017
For those who are not conversant with the previous reports, Incapsula has released 2016’s Bot Traffic Report, according to the report, more than half of Internet traffic still comes from bots, aka automated software tools.

My GIF reaction when I read a similar report in 2014:

Just like any dystopian science-fiction movies, we have the good bots like spiders which Google uses for its search engines and the bad bots used for malicious tasks such as DDoS attacks or scam advertisements.

These two have been at each other’s throats as far back as 2012 when bad bots had dominance.

The good news is, although bad bots still rule the bot world, there was an increase in the number of good bots last year – about 4% increase — while the bad bots remained nearly the same.

So there you have it, humans are in fact the minority when it comes to using the Internet, maybe we need a “Take back the Internet Protest.”

Do Not Disturb has been around since Android 5.0 Lollipop. Its like silent mode on steroids. It can silence your phone quickly or automatically, but also allow certain people and apps to break through.

Do Not Disturb” allows you to limit or completely silence notifications and alerts on your device.

You can use Do not disturb to

Automatically limit sounds at night or during events
Mute interruptions other than alarms, so you wake up on time
Get alerted to calls and messages only from favorite contacts

3 Ways to Limit Vibrations and Sound

Total silence – To completely mute your phone so that it doesn’t make a sound or vibrate, choose “Total silence.”

Alarms only – To mute your phone so that you’ll still hear your alarm, choose “Alarms only.” This option won’t mute sounds from music, videos, games, or other media.

Priority only – Mutes everything except alarms, people, reminders, and events that you choose.

So long you are using Android 5.0 and above, you should have this features

PhonesYou’ll Soon Be Able To Do These On Your Whatsapp: Share Stories, Revoke A Text & by zumen(op): 8:29am On Feb 04, 2017
WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the largest Instant Messaging app in the world with lots of features introduced almost every day. Not long ago, we heard that WhatsApp is testing real time location tracking which is already available on some iOS beta and some Android beta testers. By default it is not enabled.

Also, WhatsApp is testing a few features on Android (possibly on other platforms too) to let you cancel a text that hasn’t been received yet, aside of the location sharing with chat friends, we also have a Snapchat-like disappearing post.

The location sharing as posted few days ago, if enabled you’ll be able to share your location with trusted people for 1, 2, 5 minutes or indefinitely. This will also work in group chats.

WhatsApp is also testing a new feature similar to Snapchat’s Stories. You could add a photo with a caption or a doodle and it will disappear in 24 hours.

We are still waiting to see any of these features if at all they’ll find their way to the normal whatsapp.

PhonesBest Cheapest Data Plans For Android, Ios, Blackberry & PC Users In February by zumen(op): 7:56am On Feb 02, 2017
Happy New Month friends, I trust this month will be much better than the previous month with good tidings. It’s no longer news that Glo, Etisalat and MTN have discontinued the use of Blackberry Services for Blackberry users leaving them wondering in the valley of shadows.

The question is, which Data Plan will be suitable for Blackberry users?

For now, Airtel Blackberry still rocks on all Blackberry OS 7 devices, so you can do yourself good by getting airtel sim and dial *431#

For Android Users and iOS Users

Airtel: Airtel Tripple surf is what I recommend in such a time like this because it gives you up to 100% bonus on data activation on purchase and renewals. In other words, it rewards customers for being loyal to the company.

It is not a data plan on its own. It only gives you bonus on your data subscription based on your current Airtel data plan. The Percentage of data you get is dependent on your current Airtel data plan.

How do I activate the Triple Surf offer?

Simply Dial *141#
Select option 2 in the menu “Triple Surf Offer”, you will see the list of applicable bundles
Activate any of the applicable data bundles and you will begin to enjoy your bonus

Airtel 7GB for N2000

This package is exclusive to some sim qualified enough to enjoy the package. You get free extra 3.5GB when you activate 3.5GB for N2000.

Dial *437*2# to activate the package

Airtel Normal Plan

For those who will love to just follow nicodemusly with the normal plan, you can get any of this package from trusted third party sellers. It doesn’t zap, compared to the airtel conventional package.

1GB for N700

1.5GB for N 900

3.5GB for N1800

7GB. for N3150

9GB for N4000

Glo: You all know that Glo is bae when it comes data, you can get huge data for lesser price and still might not be able to finish it within 30 days. Their network was terrible in January… It’s a little bit better now.

Even with N500 Glo will give you 1.6GB. Dial *777# and follow the prompt.

Etisalat: For etisalat, I’m a huge fan of third party sellers because I get more data for less price. E.g, you can get

1GB for N700

1.5GB for N900

2GB for N1200

2.5GB for N1600

3.5GB for N2000

5GB for N2500

10gb. For N4500

It all depends on how well you use data.

MTN: MTN normal data plan still remain unchanged, but you can be getting double of your data subscription if you are using a new device or change your sim to a new device then subscribe. The double data offer will last for 6month.

Dial *131# to choose a package

However, third party seller will give you better value for your money as they offer

1GB for N600

1.5GB for 875

2GB for N1200

3GB for N1600

3.5GB for N1800

4GB for N2000

5GB for N2700

Finally, I have these bundle of Airtime from Airtel Nigeria, ready for distribution.I can’t drop everything here but each of the pin comes with free 5min calls to any network, 25mb and it expires 12:00am today. So if you don’t make calls, don’t load it otherwise you’ll waste it.

Some people know how to write, but do not know the technicalities or rules that guide writing. Hence, they are unable to differentiate between spoken words. You would be amazed at the number of prospective clients waiting to do business with you.

Ghost-Writing-: This may sound a little strange to you, but it does happen. It refers to those who accept to help others turn their thoughts and scrapings of jottings into finished materials for publications. You may ask, “How is this different from article writing?” With article writing, you own the ideas you write, but with ghost writing, the ideas are not originally yours. You might have to take your clients ideas, transform them, as well as get creative to arrive at a finished work. You get paid for the writing for them, it could be a best seller book or thesis and the owner of the idea gets the credit.

Translations-: Another line of business that relates to the use of words is Translations. Do you speak more than one language and can translate for people? There are those who have materials that need to be translated into English or from English to other languages. This is a viable and respectable business and one that commands high patronage.

If you have such a voice and you are in such profession, then you should get on Fiverr. Why? The reason is because clients are there waiting to do business with you. Voice-over artists are in high demand there; rightly positioning yourself will ensure you are smiling to the bank regularly.

Website Development-: It is no longer a cliché that everyone and especially every business should have a presence on the net via a domain. Even though there are various software today that make website creation easier than before, there are still people who don’t have the time or technical know-how to sit down and create one. So if you are a web developer, you need to get your gigs on and be on Fiverr.

Animations/Video-: Animation can be used for different purposes. If this is one area of competence that you possess, then Fiverr provides you with an opportunity to meet clients that are in need of your service. And in the same vein, if you have video editing knowledge too, you can also sell it on Fiverr.

3D Design-: With a gig as this, coreldraw and other designing tools are available for achieving such needs. But 3D design is in a class of its own and is an area of service needed amongst clients who want panache and want to create a more professional impression. So if you are good in this area, go for it.

Consultancy-: You might want to ask yourself questions like; what body of knowledge have i developed myself in over the years? Also, do you think you can offer professional advice on the subject? If you do have such skills, why not sell your consultancy service on Fiverr? This can be in any area

In conclusion, the easiest way to make good money on fiverr is to render services that won’t take much of your time. Before taking on any gig, it is advisable that you do an estimation of the time it would take you to deliver it. If it would take much of your time, you can always ignore it and choose other gigs that will require less time to complete. Since all gigs costs 5 US Dollars; why spend a longer time on some when you can choose ones that could take less of your time.

PhonesWhatsapp To Introduce ‘live Location Tracking’ In Real Time by zumen(op): 6:04am On Jan 31, 2017
After unleashing untimely deadly blow on all blackberry users weeks ago, the Instant messaging app WhatsApp is working on a feature you’ll love, that will track the live location of members, allowing users to track the whereabouts of their friends in real time.

If you can still remember, In December last year, WhatsApp added the features to revoke and edit the sent messages in a beta version testing. The feature is currently available in WhatsApp beta for the iOS 2.17.1.869 but not available on the normal platform.

The “Live Location Tracking” is a new feature already introduced to some beta tester but will soon be roll out to both Android and iOS platform

According to info, the features will work on WhatsApp beta version 2.17.3.28 for iOS, 2.16.399+ on Android and will be disabled by default.

The Live Location Tracking can be kept on for 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or indefinitely. Now imagine that you have a lying partner, or a random player, with this feature, you can easily trace their location in real time.

Or this could come in handy if you’re supposed to meet with your family at a certain location and time, and you want to see how far away from the destination they are.

And if you don’t want anyone to track your movement, The live streaming can also be disabled so that no one can learn where you are at any given moment.

InvestmentSAD NEWS! MMM May Crash This Week (see Shocking Details) by zumen(op): 6:10am On Jan 23, 2017
http://iqvibes.com/sad-news-mmm-may-crash-this-week-see-shocking-details/

Explaining further, the report stated that operators of the scheme had announced that the scheme would attend to small investors first while subscribers with bigger financial commitments would have to wait a bit longer.

This was, however, not to be as the applications of those who signified interest in getting help (GH) were cancelled while intending help providers (PH) were put on hold. Promoters of the scheme had attributed the delay to upgrade of the system.

However, when some help seekers (GH) were eventually matched with intending help providers (PH) on Friday, findings by Sunday Sun showed that a good number of intending help providers reneged on their promises to pay.

Some mavrodians, who spoke to our correspondent, blamed the failure of help providers to fulfill their promises on the growing uncertainties surrounding the scheme.

A subscriber, who simply identified himself as Michael, said he refused to pay the help seeker he was matched with because he no longer believed in the scheme. “I was paired to PH but I declined because I am not sure if I will ever get my money back. Some people I know to have been paired have also declined to pay. The way things are unfolding, the scheme cannot survive this week,” he said.

Narrating her inability to get help despite having been paired, a subscriber who gave her name as Rolake, said: “I was paired to get help but none of my PHs has responded.

When I called to remind them yesterday, two of them promised that they would pay me but when I called them this morning neither of them picked my calls,” she said.

But while many help providers continue to ditch the scheme, Sunday Sun gathered that there are few others who are still willing to give help.

Subscribers, who belong to this category, it was gathered, are largely those who have their money trapped in the system and who have also signified interest to give help.

One of them who claimed to have N200, 000 trapped in the scheme said he was compelled to pay somebody yesterday because of fear of losing his money.

“I paid somebody yesterday because I don’t want my account blocked. I have N200, 000 in my account before it was suspended last year and since I had also indicated intention to provide help.

If I didn’t provide the help, my account would be blocked and that simply means I would lose all my money,” the subscriber who gave his name as Ebuka said, adding that, “it is easy to back out only if you don’t have money in your account.

InvestmentUnable To Withdraw Your Money From MMM Account? (see This) by zumen(op): 12:37am On Jan 19, 2017
MMM Nigeria returned on Friday morning, 24 hours ahead of its scheduled date, but 72 hours later, its freeze on accounts is still intact, TheCable can report.

After its return on Friday, some MMM particiP@nts who spoke with TheCable said that although they were able to request for their money, had not been paid as the system still seems to be on a freeze.

Kolade Ogunwande, who said he put in N100,000 in November 2016, and referred two other people to the scheme, said his money had appreciated to N214,000 as of Friday, so he immediately request for it.

“They have not paid me anything, but they said we should be wait patiently to be matched with particiP@nts willing to invest in MMM. I have no choice than to be optimistic,” he told TheCable.

Lara Makanjuola, who also invested N100,000 in the scheme, said she was expecting N186,000, but she had not been able to request for her money.

She said anytime she requested to get help, the website said “mavros are not available for withdrawal”.

“I was supposed to collect my money two days to when accounts got frozen, but the person I was matched with didn’t pay.”

An Abuja-based couple, who requested not to be named, invested over N2 million in the scheme; they have also not been able to withdraw their money.

As of Monday, when any particiP@nt seeks to withdraw, the website puts up a message that links them to its previous freeze message, below:

“As usual, in the New Year season the System is experiencing heavy workload. Moreover, it has to deal with the constant frenzy provoked by the authorities in the mass media.

“The things are still going well; the particiP@nts feel calm; everyone gets paid – as you can see, there haven’t been any payment delays or other problems yet – but!.. it is better to avoid taking risk.: (Moreover, there are almost three weeks left to the New Year).

“Hence, on the basis of the above mentioned, from now on all confirmed Mavro will be frozen for a month. The reason for this measure is evident. We need to prevent any problems during the New Year season, and then, when everything calms down, this measure will be cancelled.”

Mavrodians, as MMM particiP@nts are called, are optimistic that their pay will come through, considering, the scheme’s last message of “hope for the poor”.

In the message, MMM said it “will only pay a certain amount per day”.

“Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal,” it said.

Investment10 Reasons Why MMM Is Dying And Will Soon Be Dead (must Read) by zumen(op): 12:15am On Jan 19, 2017
A concerned Nigerian, self-styled Activa, has listed some 10 reasons why the notorious money-spinning scheme, Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox will soon be history.

Since the return of MMM on the 13th of January, 2016 more Nigerians have continued to voice out their views against the financial social network which has been dubbed fraudulent both in Nigeria and abroad.

Read a couple of reasons why MMM may never stand the test of time:

1. The scheme is a pyramid or ponzi scheme and all of them ALWAYS die. No exceptions.

2. Why do they ALWAYS die? Because the scheme stands on nothing and it’s NOT a business. It’s simply a way to lure greedy people out together with their money, reward the early joiners while the later joiners or those at the bottom of the pyramid weep and gnash their teeth.

3. Because the scheme is not a business, they simply share members’ contributions among themselves. The total funds cannot and doesn’t increase.

4. In the case of MMM Nigeria, the scheme has shared the monies of later joiners to other people. Predictably, no sensible person is willing to PH again.

5. There’s no central accounts and there’s NO way to know how liquid the scheme is.

6. There’s is no central office and there is NO one to hold for the loss of investment.

7. MMM Nigeria couldn’t cope with the anticipated withdrawals of December 2016. They simply shut down the system and promised to be back in a bigger and better way in January 2017.

8. Now they are back. You call that back? Really? Bigger? Better? Whoever believes this must believe that February has 31 days. Rather than pay everyone trying to GH, they’ve embarked on decisions that show CLEAR signs of distress.

9. Wake up Mavrodians. MMM Nigeria is in the throes of death. There is no enough money being provided by anybody to meet the GH requests. Those who were paid won’t be foolish enough to put in the money again.

10. MMM is only back to milk more people. The scheme will soon finally and totally kick the bucket. Milking More Mugus (MMM).

For the fact that WhatsApp stopped working on your BB10 device doesn’t mean you should discard the phone. After all the main essence why BB10 exist is not because of WhatsApp. A lot of users reported earlier today that they got this message when they try to opened their WhatsApp “You can’t send messages to this chat because WhatsApp no longer supports this phone” meaning the instant messaging app is no longer supported on BB10 devices.

But one good thing about Blackberry 10 is the impressive feature of being able to run Android apps hence, this gives you an iota of hope that you can still use WhatsApp on your Blackberry 10 device.

ComputersYou Are At Risk If You Are Still Using Windows 7 by zumen(op): 11:18pm On Jan 18, 2017
I’d met a lot of people who find windows 8 and 10 boring hence stick to Windows 7. It will amaze you to know that the world most popular Microsoft OS Windows 7 is already 8 years old and approaching its dead end. Right now, it’s on a life support and will be pulling off any moment from now.

As of now, Windows 7 only receives major bug fixes and security updates. Microsoft is set to officially end its support to Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. This would mean that no more security updates, product updates or technical support from Microsoft.

Microsoft took to its German website to encourage Windows 7 users to upgrade to the latest OS. According to them,

“Windows 7 slowly becomes old. It does not meet the requirements of today’s modern technology, nor the high security requirements of IT departments. We learned from Windows XP that companies should take early steps to avoid future risks or costs.”

“Companies and users who won’t upgrade from Windows 7 within the next three years are facing enormous dangers.”

I know of so many people that naturally fall in love with windows 7 because of its simplicity of use… If you go to most cyber café, you’ll still find windows 7 installed on their system. The question is why have they refuse to upgrade to the latest OS?

PhonesExclusive Leaked Dimentions Of Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus by zumen(op): 10:14am On Jan 17, 2017
We don’t know if this is true or note but a smartphone case manufacturer has leaked the official dimensions of both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones, several months before their official unveiling.

According to GSMArena, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly weigh in at 140.14 x 72.20 x 7.30 mm, being a bit shorter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S7, but also wider than the 2016 flagship.

And the screen size works out to be 5.7”. Means the Galaxy S8 will have a larger screen than the S7 edge while being about the size of the S7!

And the larger Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will measures 152.38 x 78.51 x 7.94mm. That’s taller and wider than the current S7 edge; maintaining a 6.3 inch display.

As you can see from the two leaked images, both phones seem to lack home buttons since they will both have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded below the display. Take this info with a pinch of salt until it is unveil.

BusinessCheckout 10 Strategic Ways Government Can Transform The Nigerian Tech Sector by zumen(op): 2:44am On Jan 17, 2017
On many levels, 2016 was a year of many firsts for the Nigerian tech sector — Paystack, Flutterwave, Mark Zuckerberg and YC are all some of the examples of 2016’s firsts.

If events in 2016 are anything to go by, 2017 is definitely on course to be one of the most remarkable years for the tech community in Nigeria. One of the conversations we should have early on in the year should be around the role of government in catapulting the Nigerian tech sector. Better put, what are some of the more strategic initiatives that government can put in place to make it easier for innovation, new businesses and talent to thrive?

I don’t have all the answers but I know that if Governor Ambode makes good his promise of steady electricity supply in the Yaba cluster, for example, that would significantly shore-up the bottom-line of many startups in that area.

Below are my thoughts

If events in 2016 are anything to go by, 2017 is definitely on course to be one of the most remarkable years for the tech community in Nigeria. I don’t have all the answers but I know that if Governor Ambode makes good his promise of steady electricity supply in the Yaba cluster, for example, that would significantly shore-up the bottom-line of many startups in that area.

Below are my thoughts

Strategically focus on building a VC industry

Venture Capitalists (VCs) are the guys that bring out the very best in startups. VCs come with a critical mass, consisting of not just capital but intelligence and a deep knowledge of specific markets and business strategy.

Nigeria needs to introduce initiatives that will make it easier for both local and foreign VCs to set up venture capital funds and for wealthy Nigerians, companies and other institutions to invest in VC and directly, in promising companies.

The Yozma Programme implemented by Israel in the early ’90s represents in my view one of the best examples of how government can strategically grow a venture capital industry.

Commission a VC report and issue a VC policy

Although, there have been a number of initiatives targeted at small businesses in Nigeria, there is yet no identifiable, coordinated policy paper or direction for the venture capital industry in Nigeria. Nigeria needs to set up a committee to understudy the workings and peculiarities of venture capital in Nigeria.

We also need to come with a report which, amongst others, will review existing supply/demand initiatives and identify the critical issues and barriers to venture capital financing across the value chain while recommending strategies for driving growth in the venture capital space. The report from this study should form the basis of a well-articulated venture capital policy which should drive legislative reform.

Review immigration policy & processes

PhonesCould This ‘newly Discovered’ Whatsapp Feature Enable Anyone To Spy On You? by zumen(op): 2:07am On Jan 17, 2017
You might remember that Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $16 billion on February 19 2014, its largest acquisition to date.

On January 13th 2017, the Guardian published an article alleging the presence of a security backdoor in the messaging platform, which would allow Facebook and government agencies to snoop on users messages.

WhatsApp responded with a statement that the company “does not give governments a ‘backdoor’ into its systems” and would fight any government request to create a backdoor.

The Verge also claims the Guardian piece describes an advanced but plausible attack that WhatsApp encryption can’t stop. An attacker could actually get access to a WhatsApp server, forcibly reset the keys used to encrypt messages and intercept any further messages sent between parties.

Thankfully, there is no known attacker at the moment that has the level of skill to pull it off. Frederic Jacobs, who was an iOS developer at Open Whisper Systems — the company behind the technology WhatsApp’s uses for encryption — has dismissed the threat as nothing new.

Apparently, the backdoor described by the Guardian is a feature ‘working as intended’. It would require significant collaboration with Facebook to be able to snoop on and intercept someones encrypted messages.

However with all the stated facts that have been laid down, it appears there is actually a hidden plan to have a backdoor and it is possible for any individual with good knowledge of what he/she is doing to access encrypted end-to-end messages, even if Facebook wouldn’t do that

This feature should either be improved on, to reduce vulnerability, or removed entirely to avoid embarrassment and loss of users in the long run.

PhonesNotorious Ways To Handle Overheating On Your Smartphone by zumen(op): 1:22am On Jan 13, 2017
As long has smartphones exist, temporary issues must always arise; one of which is overheating. Overheating is common to smartphones either when charging, using or left in a recess mode. One of the most annoying aspects is for your device to be unusually hot without any usage hence draining your battery.

Today, we’ll talk about how to handle overheating on your smartphone.

Missing Updates – When was the last time you updated your Apps and firmware/OS if you have not been updating your apps and operating system, chances are your smartphone is running un-optimized Apps and OS.

You must install the OS patches which are pushed by the smartphone manufacturers to ensure bug fixes and keep all your apps upto date.

To do this go to play store and look for My apps and choose update all. To check OS updates go to settings and find the About Phone tab and then system updates.

Too Many processes (Apps) running at same time – When too many Apps are running on your device background, it will definitely cause it to heat up. In this case, you can download Clean master app; Clean master can remove junk files as well as free up ram by closing unused applications to cool down your smartphone.

Otherwise download Greenify if your smartphone is rooted. Greenify is a great tool to manage overheating as well as improve battery life. It can close Facebook and whatsApp which tend to use lot of Ram and at times keep the processor busy with useless work.

3. Only Enabled /WIFI / 3G/ 4G when required – This is a must for all users who are doing a lot of multi-tasking on the smartphones, usually the 2G signals are stronger and phone need to do less work while searching for it. For extended battery life and performance keep your phone on 2G if possible.

Turn On WIFI /3G / 4G whenever required it will also reduce load on the smartphone processor and help it cool down faster.

Too Many Apps Installed – More Apps you have on the smartphone more processes continue to run in the background – Apps like Facebook and it’s messenger continue to run background processes.

Try removing the Apps which you have not used for last 15 days. I always periodically check my smartphone to remove apps which I haven’t used for many days.

Disable unwanted Functions like Bluetooth & Location Settings – First thing you need to do is check and disable the location tracking, in case it is own and your maps application is using it, you will observe a higher battery drain and also your phone continue to search for the GPS signal and cause heating.

Also you can turn off the bluetooth if it is not being used as the bluetooth continues to search for new devices in vicinity and adds load to the processor by continue to keep the smartphone awake.

Fake Battery – Is your phone battery original or fake? If it is fake, it can wreak havoc on your smartphones operations, overheating and excess charge and discharge. When it is fake, it drains faster

Always get the genuine batteries either by contacting the service center or buy it from an authorized dealer for the mobile brand.

Don’t Use the Smartphone when Charging –This is the cardinal rule you must follow, must not play games or use data to watch videos when your smartphone is charging; as processor will come under huge amount of stress and definitely all of the smartphone will heat up due to this.
PhonesNokia 6 Built To Last, Breaks Walnuts (video) by zumen(op): 1:09am On Jan 13, 2017
When Nokia is in the game, you’ll know they are in the game because they are built to last. If there is anything most of us love about Nokia is the ruggedity and rascality just like the old Nokia 3310.

This time around, Nokia 6 which comes with an all-metal unibody was used to smashed a walnut both the front and back in the teaser video below;

the tester in the video used both the front screen and the back casing to smash the walnut and it did break the shell without any damage to the Nokia 6’s display or body, not even a scratch.

A few days back, Nokia teased the Nokia 6 as featuring a military grade body which can withstand a wide range of extreme condition. Conditions the device is touted as capable of withstanding include extreme temperature, high humidity, snow, water etc.

The device will go on sale begging from January 19 2017.

ComputersFacebook To Start Paying Users For Uploaded Videos? (see Interesting Details) by zumen(op): 5:50am On Jan 12, 2017
http://iqvibes.com/facebook-to-start-paying-users-for-uploaded-videos-see-interesting-details/

Facebook is going to start paying you for all those videos you upload on Facebook soon but don’t get too excited as there’s a twist in this tale. A very painful and annoying one. If you’re willing to compromise or probably loose your fans for some extra cash then you shouldn’t have a problem.

Remember those pre-roll ads on YouTube that usually start before the video you want to view and can only be skipped after 5 seconds?

I’ve got good news for you then, Mark Zuckerberg also hates them.

The bad news? Well, Facebook is planning to introduce another type of advertising that might prove to be very annoying.

I’m talking about mid-roll ads. These ads are coming to Facebook videos, and they will interrupt what you’re watching to display an ad.

The mid-roll ads will be shown after you’ve watched a video for just 20 seconds. Thankfully it’ll be will only be available for videos that are at least up to 2 minutes long, but they still have the potential to make people stop watching Facebook videos after the initial 20 seconds.

Currently, Mid-roll ads have already been tested for live videos, but the new rollout will now include all videos on Facebook. Facebook will be sharing ad revenue with the content creators, keeping 45% of all sales for itself – just like YouTube does.
For now, this still in the testing phase, but if it proves successful then expect most videos you see on Facebook to become ad-infested pretty soon.

I think it should have an opt in option due to privacy issues on Facebook. Facebook would not want to infringe on user privacy by adding ads without permission from users.

This is the first chance many publishers will have at monetizing their Facebook videos. Facebook users are already watching 100 million hours of video per day, so this will also bag the social network some nice amounts of cash.
BusinessSee The New Promo MMM Gives Particip@nts As They Prepare To Resume On January 14 by zumen(op): 9:59am On Jan 11, 2017
The most popular Ponzi scheme in Nigeria, MMM Nigeria, is preparing to resume operations after freezing the accounts of its particiP@nts in mid-December.

The scheme, via its website, asked particiP@nts, whose accounts were frozen, to perform “Promo Tasks: A New Tool for MMM Community Development”.

The tasks, which would be done both online and offline, is expected to promote the scheme and drive “traffic and participation” by the time the handlers lift the freeze on January 13, 2017.

In a statement on it website, the handlers said: “Being an MMM member implies not only opportunities, but also a responsibility for the state and development of the MMM Community. MMM is our home, and we are responsible to build and refine it. “A lot of particiP@nts genuinely want to promote MMM, spread its ideology amongst people, though not always knowing what exactly has to be done. Therefore we have created a new PromoTasks section in the PO, which is added with various tasks: online and offline, easy and complicated, individual and team-oriented

MMM NIgeria promo task

“A member who will perform these tasks will be benefited, because the tasks will allow him to attract new referrals, build his structure (and get bonuses for that), and it will be useful the whole Community, because more people will learn about MMM and its ideology.”

MMM NIgeria promo task “A member who will perform these tasks will be benefited, because the tasks will allow him to attract new referrals, build his structure (and get bonuses for that), and it will be useful the whole Community, because more people will learn about MMM and its ideology.”

MMM Nigeria handlers also said via the statement that a “task may guide a member to join a Facebook group and write a comment to create some tweets on Twitter, like a YouTube video, share news on Google Plus, and make your website”

“There are also offline tasks: conducting home sharings, cafe meetings, organizing MavroPicnics, MavroParties or MavroGames,” it said. “Doing the tasks you contribute to the Community’s progress.
Thanks to you and other members doing the tasks, MMM gains more popularity in social media and gets more registrations and PHs.

MMM needs you and depends on your activity! “It is obvious that the activity of MMM Nigeria members is growing. MMM is very proud of its members who are becoming kinder and more responsible. By our efforts, MMM Nigeria will overcome!”

PhonesAndroid Stat For January: Froyo Dies, Lollipop Tops by zumen(op): 9:42am On Jan 11, 2017
I don’t know if we should call this good news for Android users or not but the most important thing is after nearly 7 years, Android 2.2 Froyo launched in May 2010 has finally dropped off the platform distribution numbers. What this means is that the maiden Google OS is presently installed in less than 0.1% of devices globally.

Froyo has been hanging on at 0.1% of active Android devices for ages, but now it’s dropped below that mark and is no longer included in the platform numbers. It was still there last month. Now that Froyo is dead, we can start the Gingerbread Deathwatch. It’s currently sitting at 1%

Android 5.1 Lollipop still tops the chart with a total of 33.3% on the distribution chart, this is closely followed by Android Marshmallow with 29.6%. Android KitKat comes in at the third position with 22.6%, while Android Jelly Bean completes the top 4 with 11.6%. Google’s latest mobile OS, Android 7.0 Nougat is still at its lowest, with a 0.7% distribution figure four months after it was released.

Everything else is only changing by fractions one way or the other. Those of you still on older operating system, it’s time to upgrade.

WebmastersReport: Facebook Is Becoming Youtube, Willing To Share 55% Of Its Revenue With P by zumen(op): 8:09am On Jan 10, 2017
If you saw this coming, please stand up! IMO, Everyone should have seen this coming.

If you’ve always hated the ads at the beginning of YouTube videos, get ready to lose your mind with Facebook ads. According to “industry sources,” the social media giant will soon start testing a mid-roll ad format, which means advertisers will have the opportunity to insert an ad in THE MIDDLE OF VIDEOS.

The ads might interrupt regular video viewing at the 20-second mark and will be limited to 15 seconds

On the bright side, video publishers will reportedly be getting 55 percent of ad sales from those videos, ‘this is the same margin offered by YouTube, who is currently the king of digital video ad buys.’

There’s no word, yet, on when these ads will roll out, but don’t be surprised to see them appearing soon.
