Despite many hurdles along the way, God finally put a smile on my face, so, i'll be among those to be congratulated after posting this?
I'm glad its finally happening. I appreciate many many people in-house, since 2012 i asked the first TAfe related question, even those that recently joined us many info's were gained. I finally got my 572 SVP(Advanced diploma) VISA Grant.
Took 9 working days cos i front-loaded medicals late last year December.
I encourage graduates scared of applying with their degree, please do, particularly if you are interested in 189 or 190 subclass.
please which school did you applied to and how much is in the bank statement you submitted to the school. |

Lets start with that.
190 is straight up PR.
489 is PROVISIONAL PR...like the type Spouses get. You have to stay for 2 yrs in a regional area, and work for 1 year in a regional area to qualify for the 887 visa.
To get the 887 visa, all you do is submit your lease agreement showing you stayed in a regional area, utility bills, employment contract, payslips, etc, and in 3 - 6 weeks you get your 887 which entitles you to live anywhere in Australia like a 189...no more state agreement. 1. Internship/IT in medical laboratory for six months. 2. In ICT firm for 13months. 3. In Uniuyo Teaching hospital (Med. microbiology nd parasitology dept) for 12 months (NYSC) 4. Teaching (during studies nd after studies) 5. Interviewer with a research firm for 4 months. 6. Boss Lady mo. I be woman oo. na my hubby be principal applicant. Omo I hope this IOM no go delay they are saying processing of fare fee is 3 weeks.

Go to a supermarket and buy a pack of Ziploc freezer nylons. That's what we use when we travel. You can use paper tape to write the labels. Don't forget to declare on your landing card that you have food items. Bibol:

I don't have a sealing machine and I once read in this thread how someone labelled and even put botanical names  Can i just tie the transparent polythene bags or must I seal? I ask this because am a fresh graduate, and cant wait until 3years when i would have gotten those years of experience to apply.....what if i perform excellently in IETLS, my age is below 25, plus my uni degree in geology...what are my chances for a positive acessment. |

I Know and I am very sure of this cos we fell foul of this as our agent was not experienced. We had to reapply and pay all over.

Too easy mate. Regardless of the length of stay you can apply and get police clearance certificate. However, prospective employers can also do it for you if they really want to employ you but some use it as a ruse to decline you the job (even Without getting the said clearance from police) just say it's a new way of saying unfortunately we cannot offer you the job at the moment. My advice, if you want to get a job that requires police clearance, get it done yourself and take the certificate to prospective employers. Best Regards |

TFN is not compulsory but necessary. you can start working while waiting for it to be processed. Migrants are given 28days after starting a job to produce TFN. You will be taxed the highest rate of 45% or so, if you have no TFN. |

Bros...congratulations! Pls what do u think of a geology graduate who wants to use any of TAFE, Diploma or Advanced diploma to get in? I talked him out of Ms because he has 1.9M as the sole aims are to hustle and get PRed..what's the need anyway? I adviced him to get a close relation sponsor and he depends on me for all to materialise and I will try for him. I will research for him..but do chip in more on this pls. I just a need a bit of advise from anyone who currently reside in Australia.
I currently Reside in South Africa and i wish to relocate to either Australia or Canada with my Family.
By God's grace i have someone that can get me an Australian working visa or a Canada Visiting Visa.
but now my question is will i be able to renew the Australia working visa when it expires
also which will you guys advise Living in Canada or Australia in all areas.I.e cost of living,paper work,accomodation.etc.
