Not everyone knws what inflation is and its damages. Some just knw its much money in circulation so what now does this do?
This intro of 5000 naira will help eliminate and send to extinction the far lower notes, causing price of commodities to increase and making even the 1000 and 200 and so on to reducing in purchasing power in that what u cld buy for 1000naira before the intro of the 5000naira note, u might even get it now for 3500naira. In other words the 5000naira now will be worth say what the 1000naira is now.... So the truth is u den actually spend more getting less... This won't even help business,paying naija debt,and even the ignorant politicians who are too lazy now to do the maths. The only thing is no matter the value of the money the politicians will still steal and the 5000naira note will not help their looting because the the worth of the money is say dat of a lesser note they one had, and the masses will pay for the mess
