sanctity454: If you show Okorocha's broad roads in Owerri, you are entertaining only yourself and Roch's Okorocha, as Orlu and Okigwe, the principal cities of the other two senatorial districts, lay in near ruins under Okorocha government. Even if Okorocha paves all Owerri roads with gold toddy, but continued to abandon Orlu and Okigwe as they are today, he remains a loser. A state governor who concentrates his development projects in the state capital is either semi-literate or a fraudulent governor. Okorocha's policy of "Owerri-or -no-other-place" has left Imo state grossly under-developed, compared to other states created the same time with Imo state. Okorocha's Owerri is less than 5% of Imo State by land mass. |

sanctity454: Nice development. Now watch truck drivers use the side lanes as new trailer park for them. Rochas should ban parking on these roads or he simply built new parking lot for trucks and owners of junk vehicles 3 Likes |

ChimaAgbalajob:That's the problem with our people, they want to inhabit oyibo land but won't sacrifice to have oyibo land replica. Rochas have been greatly criticised for his urban renewal cos of this, but am sure in time to come people will appreciate ha vision. |

sanctity454: What if we first develop Abuja to look like London or New York, after that, future governments shall start to allocate resources for development of Owerri and others? The idea of developing one town first by Imo state government is a most rogue, disingenuous and greedy. The idea was suggested by Owerri politicians to Okorocha, and he bought it without knowing that it is destroying his political base in Imo state. The more you show Owerri big roads while there are hardly anymore roads in Orlu and Okigwe areas, the more you annoy people of Orlu and Okigwe. No other Society or country in the world has built, or is building one city with the hope that future governments shall build others. This idea of building Owerri first is most fraudulent, and it has reduced the entire space of Imo state as most under-developed in the south, while we have only Owerri as only modern place in Imo state. |

You are talking rubbish. Onitsha and Awka are far better than Owerri and every part of Imo state. In fact 1/3rd of Imo state people are resident in Onitsha. Owerri is a small ghetto dirty dilapidated town filled with poor people. We can do it with pictures. [s] allhavesinned:[/s] 3 Likes |

LasGidiOwner: Bro Onitsha is dirty and Akwa is not qualified to be a city or a capital city, I've been to both town so dont compare Owerri with both Onitsha and Akwa, Owerri is beautiful despite anything. Owerri is a dirty town filled with slums and ghettos. Owerri is a glorified state capital and should be demolished to pave way for decent development. Orange drugs lives in Onitsha where he has the largest plant in Nigeria. See where Orange drugs stays in Onitsha. Truth is bitter. [s] allhavesinned:[/s] 4 Likes

LasGidiOwner: Onitsha is HQ for Kidnappers, Armed Robbers, Prostitution and others, Onitsha is not a developed city and cannot be, forget that rubbish and unplanned 6 floor building you guys are building without plan. Tell me the best Estate in Onitsha and Akwa then I will show you Estates that are middle income in owerri that are more beautiful and planned. Onitsha people are coming down to owerri to Invest. The best SE City is Owerri. Education is zero in Ontisha 3 Likes |

Owerri is a rural town. Owerri is where kidnapping started in Nigeria. Otokoto started in Owerri. Ritual killings started in Owerri. Prostitution started in Owerri. Armed robbery started in Owerri. Owerri is a cursed useless town filled with prostitutes. 1/3rd of Imo state people are resident in Onitsha. [s] allhavesinned:[/s] 2 Likes |

In case you don't know all the rich Imolites are all resident in Onitsha. It is a shame that none of your rich men could even live in your squalor Owerri Imo state filled with bad roads, slum and ghettos and poor people. See below where Orange drug lives in Onitsha. You can go and confirm 2 Likes

Take this picture. Go to Road-1 off Niger Drive GRA- Onitsha and confirm his name. He is from Mbano because my cousin is living on this same street. It is a statement of fact that 1/3rd of Imolites are resident in Onitsha. It is a bitter truth though [s] allhavesinned:[/s] 2 Likes

Hehehehe You are still spitting and crying..LOL Owerri is a very filthy town filled with slums and ghettos. There is no single rich guy living in Owerri. All the rich people from Imo state are either resident in Onitsha, Lagos, PH or Abuja. This is because Owerri is cursed with bad roads, filth, prostitutes, armed robbers and kidnappers. Here is where Orange drugs lives in the city of Onitsha(Obodo oyibo) of Imo state people [s] allhavesinned:[/s] 3 Likes

ScotMisile: Me envying Owerri for its development? Owerri people did not build the development infrastructures in Owerri. If someone from Imo state envies Owerri, do you think all is well with Imo state? A state was created and demarcated into senatorial zones and local government areas to enable uniform development of the state. Any person aligned to having government develop Owerri first while the rest of Imo state remain squalid as they are today, is a crook. |
