Yeah, it's still tuition free.

About practicing nursing while studying, I think you need learn their language 1st. Then do further research on your own via Google and its likes.

Take care.

Baba, weather is ok now. I heard this is about the best time u could have in Finland, being summer. The temperature is around 20 degrees. But forget no be the same level with those our China a.c temp. However no matter how cold it is outside, the houses are well heated that u will just feel like u de nija for ur room, na when u commot, like go outside u go know how far. But baba, magooooo... from September i hear say it will be a lot different, like the temp go drop below 0 degrees. So he go be indoor things! Yoruba will say that 'eni ti a n gbe iyawo bo wa ba, kii garun'.... Experience they say is the best teacher, seeing is believing! wink

LoL....yeah.... this is the best time.....and a good time to come too, cos u experience the drop in temp gradually, it helps to adapt.

Cheers sir!

Please, anytime we ask questions here concerning Finland, always try to help with an answer, thats why the thread was created. Most times when you direct us to Google to check for the info, its always too cumbersome but for people that are already there, you can just give us the basic things needed. Eg. I saw it on google that i will need between 600 - 800 Euro for sustainance over there per month. When i calculated the amount for a whole year, i couldnt but wonder why they now call it tuition free. The money is enough for both tuition, feeding and accomodation in a good private School in Nigeria. But for those of you that are already there, you would hav known by now if one would truely need up to that amount or not.
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by agbajesaid(m): 6:29am On Aug 22, 2015
So for me, Google is nothing compared to firsthand direct info. I typed all these because i have some question to ask and i will like you to help me with it. You dont have to give me detailed explanation, just the cogent points. Thanks

Lol.....U dnt need that much....that estimate is a figure based on average lifestyles from sampled perspectives. As naija boy u know wet in dey....I'll give u an example....my accommodation is 219 Euro per month...in a furnished apartment. I'm to share a flat with someone so na my room I go dey...I dnt eat out and I dnt eat much (I no wan fat again)so I'll probably spend 100 Euro per month on food ..could be more could be less...then let's say another 50 Euro on personal entertainment...a small jab could aid u half this figure per month...if u r lucky....
The truth is naija boys dey there wey no get anyone wey dey send them money and they r doing amazingly well...got a few friends there...so my brother tight Ur trouser...and fulfil Ur academic dream...

The truth is...yes there r jobs ..but like in every society...U need patience and the grace of God....however if u go to big cities u will surely find a job ..no matter how little....I stand to be corrected Ohh..but the worst of my friends and na jjc..makes 7 Euro an hour and he works 20 hours a week. U do the math....he can pay his house rent with ease....and chop Belleful...from this small thing he makes 560...a month doesn't work weekends and works only four hours per day..so he can concentrate on school....others do more...and work their asses off....I dnt advise it though..study study study....go do PhD for Canada that's my own goal Ohh...
And yes it's still tuition free for now....
Also try Germany and Norway too

Bros!!! I actually saw your question but i give am blind pass.... most of the things that you asked about can be found in 3mins if you do a proper research. I am in a very good mood today and hopefully United will make me more happy. I will provide a link where u can get answers to most of your questions.

Lemme start with cost of living..... the minimum amount that can sustain you is shown below with some analysis

1. Apartment from TOAS (one room in a 3 bedroom shared apartment per month) - 280 euros including facility fees
2. Lunch at the campus - 2.60 euro per meal .. multiplied by 20 days....................52 euros per month
3. Bus card incase u wan go City Centre or other places.... around 50 euros per month in Tampere
4. To buy food stuffs for preparing breakfast and dinner..... 150 euros.... just an estimate... mayb in 3 months time i can come up with a more accurate amount

TOTAL....532 EUROS

Money for heineken, stout and co never enter o... a glass of beer na around 8.00 to 11.50 euros o. So if u b brewery na u sabi o

For everything relating to Automation Enegineering check the link below....

Oga boss abeg no ever compare naija education with Finland..... I dey beg u abeg.... I attended one of the best university in Nigeria and i have only been in Finland for over a week and the difference is clear.

Some questions have been overflogged here. If you do a good research via google u might be directed to the page on this thread.

Before you ask a question read the thread properly abeg.... take out 5 hours in a weekend an read through the thread.

I dey kinda busy i would have done an analysis to prove ur assumption above to be very wrong relating to cost.

What stage are u in with respect to your plans on studying in Finland?
