Declaring to say the whole truth is when one promise to say nothing but the truth in a law court, either when testifying or giving evidence on a case. but in this case, it has to do with a guy or a girl being honest with each other in a relationship. by being open and not covering or holding anything from each other. trust and honesty are two very important criteria for a successful relationship. And lack of it, could destroy a relationship.

In every relationship, couples need to be sincere to each other. And should be bold enough to share any part of their past that is capable of destroying their relationship should the other partner get to know about it later. if you are a guy and do have any health issues that has to do with being diabetic, having heart or procreating issue, or having similar genotype with your fiancee, you need to let your wife to- be know about it before marrying her. you dont need to be ashamed or afraid to let her know. And the same thing also apply to a lady, who probably can't have children due to some complications in the past, is asthmatic or have epilepsy, have spiritual problems or a stubborn ex boyfriend who doesn't want to let her go etc. she need to let her fiance know about it, rather than allow him to find out himself and put your relationship at risk.

Like a guy who has some issues that has to do with being a 'man' and as a result refused be intimate with his fiancee during their courtship. only for the lady to realize later that her husband is impotent after getting married to him. some people do hide alot of things from their partners, so as to not to jeopardize their relationship or the chances of getting married to the person. forgetting that there's nothing hidden under the sun. and no matter how long you hide it, it would surely surface one day. and by that time, it might be too late to redeem the situation. And also like a lady who is aware she cant have children due to the abortions she's done in the past, but refuses to disclose this to her fiance cos she doesn't want to lose him. she is only postponing her problem, which she'd definitely face in the future. So, why not be bold enough and tell him. if you two are meant to be together, he wont abandon you. and if he truly loves you, he'd be willing to stand by you to weather the storm together...while believing God for a miracle. Couples should endeavour to be open and sincere with each other. It's what you need to make your relationship work... cos true love ought to be for better for worse!
