What does my tribe have to do with anything?.... Nigerians this days..... You might like to "dobale" to your "leaders", but I sure as hell don't feel comfortable doing it. Like I said, I only answer to my maker, which is the almighty GOD.

You know you're a scum. . .

How is anyone worshipping the new pope and what gives you the impression that he's being worshipped?

So jubilating and creating reports that a new pope has been elected after the resignation of the former is "worshipping" to you?

Like they say if one doesn't know the appropriate language for a certain occurrence don't speak at all

We all have different point of views, I personally think some people are worshipping him hence the comment about how he is so humble because he takes the bus. I have actually have been called worse than a scum, I have been called a douchebag, a jerk, an @$$, you name it but guess what? I don't care. I call it like I see it, and no one can stop me, its called freedom of speech hun.

The Catholic Church's Black Popes
(An entry in celebration of Black History Month)

Many people do not know that the Catholic Church has had three black popes. Writes Dr. Camille Brown:

This litany of Black Catholics would not be complete without some acknowledgement of the three black popes. According to The Book of Pontiffs (Liber Pontificalis), there were three popes from Africa. Pope St. Victor I was the first. He reigned from 186-197 A.D. as the 15th Pope. We should thank Pope Victor I for settling the controversy about when to celebrate Easter. Pope St. Militiades was the second pontiff from Africa. He reigned from 311-314 A.D. as the 32nd or 37th Pope (there are conflicting accounts as to his place in the Papal line). He was very busy during his tenure in the papacy while being consumed with promoting papal infallibility and writing hymns and epistles. The third African Pope was Pope St. Gelasius I who reigned from 492-496 A.D. as the 49th Pope. He was pope during a time of peace and religious toleration as Constantine became emperor and legalized Christianity. All three of these Catholic heroes embraced the faith with sincere hearts and complete devotion to our Lord and the Universal Church

DOES D ABOVE QUOTATION EXPLAIN THAT PETER WAS THE 1ST POPE OF D ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH? FOR UR INFORMATION, D 1ST CHURCH IN D BIBLE WAS FORMED IN ANTIOCH NOT ROME
history did not end in the bible. The early church travelled to Rome for missonary work where they were greatly persecuted and Peter died there. Just because it wasn't in the bible doesn't make it untrue. Btw I didn't say the church was "formed" in Rome.

Is this the last pope?

Benedict XVI's status as No. 111 matters because pope No. 112 is the last on the list. "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people,"

Common! Read the encyclopedia of the catholic church; those 3 men were from North Africa. 2 from Egypt, one from Algeria. They were never black. And if your knowledge of history recalls how people from Arabia and Europe were drawn to the northern part of africa through the subtle drag of the river Nile, you will know so well that there is a difference between being an African by race and by geography. If your thoughts are anything to go by, those white people in south Africa and Zimbabwe are Africans in the actual sense of the word 'African'. That you find many black men in Europe, even living as legal citizens does not make them European in the strict sense of being European!

TheBookWorm:

I see you do not know history, but Saint Peter was the first Pope according to the Catholic Church.

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." ~ Matthew 16:18

AND JESUS DID NOT SAY UPON YOU, PETER I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH. THE "THIS" THAT JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT WAS THE RESPONSE PETER GAVE HIM CONCERNING JESUS BEING THE SON OF GOD. PETER IS AN IMPERFECT HUMAN BEING, JUST AS A SINFUL AND AN IMPERFECT HUMAN CANNOT DIE FOR OUR SINS, EXCEPT JESUS THE PERFECT AND SIN FREE ONE THE CHURCH CAN'T BE BUILT AROUND AN IMPERFECT HUMAN. JESUS IS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH, NOT ANY MAN BORN OF A WOMAN. THE CHURCH IS BUILT AROUND JESUS CHRIST BEING THE HEAD OF THE SON OF GOD.

All three of these Catholic heroes embraced the faith with sincere hearts and complete devotion to our Lord and the Universal Church

i laff at this write -up .. you give me names of people and u say the are black pope just becos a write-up was made to look it. The era in question was one in which blacks were still uncivilized and a very large number of them were been shipped during the trans-Sahara slave trade ... most of the area known to the civilized world were north of africa ... and a gud number of them where whites. pls I want you to show proof that a pope was chosen south of the Sahara ( that is what is been refereed to as black africa in your selected dates) as pope

Hmm is the new pope the antichrist? Lets take a look at the numbers. The pope was chosen on 13/3/13. If you subtract 1 from the thirteens you get 12/3/12. Now adding the ones together gives you two i.e 1 + 1 = 2. Now divide the twelves by two you get 6/3/6 and multiply the three by two, you get 6/6/6. Such a result is very suspicious.

Therefore, the new pope may actually be the antichrist. So enjoy your latest pope and hope he doesn't bring about the end times. lipsrsealed cry
