First to do what, to type 1st? And you're happy about that. A person that pays for VIP or VVIP to listen to jokes doesn't hear the jokes before those not on the VIP side.

Seun: Many Muslims don't like rule 17.

That's irrelevant, rule 17 is very shameful.

Shame on the so called religion of peace.

Seun look at this.

Seun: Many Muslims don't like rule 17.
Many muslims do not like it, all christians do not like it, all atheists do not like it, all pagans do not like it, then the rule should be removed or revised to include all religions.

ALL THE RULES ARE OKAY TO ME.
TOO MANY SMALL BOYS AND SMALL GIRLS ON NAIRALAND LACK COMPANY MANNERS AND DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT THEIR UNCLES AND AUNTS IN THE HOUSE DESERVE RESPECT. UNCLES LIKE THE ROMANTIC AND SEXY ORIKINLA WANTS THE RULES TO STAY.

THE SMALL BOYS MUST LEARN HOW TO GROW UP AND AS WE KNOW EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER, SO IF THE SMALL GIRLS LIKE UNCLE ORIKINLA TO GIVE THEM PRACTICAL LESSONS WHEREVER THEY WANT ONLINE OR OFFLINE, THE SMALL BOYS SHOULD MIND THEIR BUSINESS AND STOP THEIR BAD BELLE AND JEALOUS TANTRUMS. AND KNOW THAT ALL PRICKS DON'T HAVE THE SAME SIZE. THE BIGGER THE LONGER THE BETTER FOR THE SMALL GIRLS TO BECOME WOMEN.grin

Seun: Rule 17 is the most controversial rule because it sounds unfair. My fellow moderators have debated this rule at length and it could not be changed. We cannot extend the prohibition against offence to other religions because that limits your freedom of speech, and we cannot remove that rule without jeopardizing security and the safety of lives. Sorry about this.

Seun:

I understand that it's inconvenient to have to scroll through the rules before each post, especially on mobile phones. This will be fixed soon.

Seun, are you a Muslim?
Seun, are you a member of B***H***
Seun, why can't you just respect Christainity?

On behalf of the GARRI advocates of NL we wish to express our utter disappointment at this action you hav taken among others.

Please do well to act professional and add a "DELETE ACCOUNT" option to our profiles, this is not a cult!

Thanks.

Rule 17 and 21 this is discrimination @ its highest. Dis is disappointing, dis is called Nairaland which I believe majority of its members are Nigerians n broken english is our major language both verbal and written. THIS IS DISCREMINATION!!!, I suld be aloud to write in pigeon english dats the Nigerian way if u remove the Nigerian way from Nairaland then u left with, well nuffing really. Dis is as bad as sayin only "male need register". N since christianity is the only religion allowed to be made fun off on Nairaland I guess Ѿε̲̣̣̣̥ all know where seun place us. Thanks men, thank you so much for this discriminatory decisions, u've made the white and muslim folks very proud. Since I no fit write english make I go look for another place were am free to speak n write in my sweet pigeon English. God bless

Abuja4sale: Dear All,
I want to appeal to All especially the Christians to exercise patience with Seun Osewa on Rule 17; (17. Don't post anything that could be considered offensive to Islam, especially in the muslim section). I came from a muslim background and one of the major discrepancy between Christianity and Islam is that the former is founded on this "Followers are not to assist their God as He is too powerful to need human assistant" while the later believed "Followers are encourage to fight in order to defend their God"

You do realize that you're saying Muslims believe that you're justifying the murderous actions of Muslims.

Abuja4sale:
So with the above analyzes, there is no writing, painting or cartooning of Jesus in any kinds can never provoke a genuine. christian, because his foundation is rooted in 'my God will fight for Himself' but for my beloved Muslims; the reverse is the case. Again, I have never seen a genuine Muslim in support of what Boko Harams are doing to our nation. As majority in my family are muslims and we live in togetherness as one.

That is just a logical fallacy known as the No True Scotsman fallacy. So once a Muslim supports Boko Haram, they're no longer Muslim? Then what exactly is it that makes one a Muslim?

Abuja4sale:
So with this understanding, we should love our muslims brethren and abide with Rule 17. This I believed is one of the sacrifices we (Nairalanders) must lived with in order to make our nation the better place in the world. Let us abide and respect the 'weakness' of other religion in the above Rule 17.

Please note; this is my personal opinion. May the genuine love of God reign forever in our hearts.

I see no reason why I should make this pointless sacrifice that simply insults reasonable Muslims. Unless you think that Muslims are right in their usual killing sprees when they feel offended.

What you do with such a response is to show just how poorly the so-called moderate Muslims are doing. They either secretly support the murderers by rationalizing their terrible actions or they too are in fear of being killed by their fellow Muslims.

Seun:
It limits your freedom of speech. We do not want to limit your freedom of speech unless there is a very serious reason to do so.

Hello Seun, I have never spoken on issues like this before, but this time, I am compelled to advice you of somethings you may not know.

Don't think you will go scot free for this rule 17 bias. Make no mistake about it, you will not. The God of true Christianity that you have dishonoured by rule 17 will have His pound of flesh. If not in this life, certainly after this life ..except of course, you repent. I sincerely hope you take this advice seriously...but like most humans, you most likely will not. Sad, really sad.

I wish you the best.
