Awake9ja: what is wrong with the yorubas?
by the way am not ibo but the truth must be said for Gods sake.

what kind of hatred is this? why is so much envy and hate about a particular tribe going on in the life of Fulani, yoruba and hausas.

sincerely speaking yorubas has beginning to irritate me like hausas.
a group that invest so much to develop your land only for you to turn around and stab them deeply.
Such is life, such is the kind of oneness we are all preaching.

BTW sounds like u r new here? One single commodity that sells real fast here (NL politics section) is HATRED.

remark D: OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS!!!!!!

ARE YOU FOR REAL?!!!!

THIS IS SO UNBELIEVEABLE!

My guy... you have single-handedly, or single=posedly lol ... nailed the coffin shut with the notion of your people being cowards!

I mean... don't you know that it is because you people talk too much (with insults and rascalisty) ... and run when real action is come, that the coward tag came about?

and here you are promoting the notion that you guys are really cowards, by showing how much you and your people talk and engage in "e=war" as you call it....

I mean... Imaging lil kids with their toys, say action figures, believing that they are so strong because their action figure "beat up" the other in a "fight" ...

geez man, I am so embarrassed for you... I am sure a lot of your floks are hiding their faces in shame too.... rofl! you are soooooooo funny!!!!

e-champions indeed! you are soooo strong!!!!

Oya, come show me your muscle!!!

wow your muscle must be sooo big!!!

u beat me to it. ROFLMFAO. I swear i think Yoruba actually enjoy the term coward cause they constantly doing things that attribute to that behavior. LMFAOOOO. The only set of people i know that rejoice over e warriors despite the fact every region on NL has their own e warriors. LMFAO. coward gene is really strong in that clan. where were their ewarriors when the traders flogged the ish out their collector. They sat their and waited for army and police. where were their ewarriors when BH killed the Ibadan men? where were ewarriors when River state threw stones at them in Rivers? Ewarriors where dem dey when Fulani used them as target practice in their own land. while others use real life fights, this people rejoice over mouth talking. LMFAO. Yet they wonder why the entire Nigerian populace see them as nothing but talk. I highly doubt that nigg@ realize he just proved to us that all yoruba knows how to do is talk.

Awake9ja: these yorubas here online mocking the ibos pls can you come over to my middle beltan state and tell me why I should love you guys more above ibos.

ibos are always industrious and hard working and lover of their host community and contribute selflessly to their host community.
as much as I love one Nigeria I blv Fulani, Yoruba and hausas are the most hypothetical and destroyer of the one Nigeria they profess.

come on if you guys hate the ibos this much why did you fight along with us to bring them back?
even here in the middle belt and core north the ibos are not treated this way.

pls evil is evil and it pains me more that most of the yorubas here rejoicing are either Christian or muslim.
Where Middle Belt are you, you still go on to mention Christian and Muslim. Don't you have brain to think for you?

I love what is happening. I am Igbo by birth, Biafran by orientation, Nigerian by coercion and so I request again, anyone interested in buying off my house here in Lagos should indicate. Please send me a mail so I can plan my homeward move. It has become clear that we will have to move finally. Long live Biafra and may Ojukwu rest in peace for he is the man that saw tomorrow

The Lagos State Government have asked Igbo Traders at the popular Ladipo Auto Spare Parts market in Lagos to either accept a self imposed  Yoruba Leader or leave Lagos state.

but sorry to let you know that the figment of your imagination, because you want it to be "real and effective" does not make it real and effective....

You really think hardworking Nigerians, especially the Igbo traders have time to waste on NL? and if they have time it will be to burn their MB by spending hours on NL?

Your current very very strong ultimate "warriors" ... how many of them live in Nigeria? or can afford to be visiting Nigeria ll the time... man, why am I even having this discussion with you... it is just unbelieveably and amazingly s t u p I d.

Psychological warfare! chai! you sure you aint one of those destistute that have mental issues? lol...

You are a dullard!

This is psychological warfare and is part of real life warfare.

Believe it or not, the bashings you receive here will have a subliminal effect on your reasoning, mindset and decision making.

Many who saw Lagos as a no man's land will gradually begin to have a new mindset.

Ndjigbos who still in the SE with the intention of relocating to Lagos will have a rethink.

Ndjigbos who have invested significantly will start giving relocation back to the east a 2nd thought.

Ndjigbos who want to buy landed properties thinking that will give them a stake in Lagos will relax and reconsider.

The battle here is real and effective. That's why Yorubas must win it at all cost.

Wow! Thanks, PeterKBaba, for this video of our beloved Yoruba city! Damn! Now the whole world can see why the Ibos, who are Biafrans anyway, are gong-ho and fixated on the Yorubaland. Oh, my God! Ile Yoruba ko ni baje lai lai; Ilu Ibadan ko ni baje lai lai, Ilu Eko ko ni baje lai lai(Amin, Ase Edumare). We really need to be proactive, so as to quicken the dislodgement of the Ibos (Biafrans) from the entire Yorubaland. The time is now if we want the posterity to judge us well, we must eradicate the ibos from our lands. Please, all Yoruba people must watch this video of "Lagos: Africa's Big Apple." I was so captivated and smitten with more love for my Yoruba heritage. This is wonderful. Also, I love the fact that no Easterner was permitted to feature in the video. Talk of "Ibo lagosian" yeah, right! What about Ibo otukpo?

You must think you are very strong ehn? One of these days you will make a mistake and mess with a Yoruba who will beat you up really good. I hope he will castrate you as well so that next time you call him a coward, you will do so in a little girl's voice. High pitched.

That doesn't give them the right to disobey the laws of the land. I'm sure yorubas are grateful for their "contribution" to SW economy, but they should obey simple laws if they wish to maintain the peaceful coexistence..

cool

shut up there you deluded baboon, what stupid law? lagos state govt makes laws contemptuously and enviously against the Ibo tribe to either milk them or frustrate their business. It has always being a fact which you all know, so shut your dirty trap if you don't have any reasonable contribution to make here. Your governor should continue, the end will surely justify the means, i hope it doesn't trigger a retaliatory approach in the end. One day they will appoint yoruba administrators to manage ibo owned properties.

Let me start by stating that I am not a fan of Fashola. I dont like his style of governance whereby the poor masses are made to suffer unnecessarily.

But our Igbo brothers need to learn how to play by the rules, regulations, tradition and culture of their HOSTS, anywhere they are.
This is the kind of thing that could degenerate kinto violence in a hostile place like Kano.

The Ladipo marketers/traders should know that they belong to the informal sector, where there is no limit to the number of associations that could be formed, depending on your leanings/ideology. However, the State Govt or Local Govt have the right to appoint or recognise, and pronounce which association or leader for the purpose of relating or dealing with issues concerning the market based on the history of the market, as well as the tradition, culture and percuiliarities of the host community. The Igbo traders cannot dictate to Lagos state govt who the govt must recognise or appoint as head of the market, no matter how many Igbos in the market! You cant dictate to Kano state govt who the Kano stste govt must appoint or recognise as head of a particular market in Kano state.

The best alternative is for the Igbo traders to select/appoint/elect their President of Igbo Traders Association(Ladipo Market Chapter) who may co-attend meetings with the Babaloja and act to protect or project the interests of Igbo traders. You cannot impose yourselves by force in things like this. Let us be real. There is no way Igbo people in the East would accept Yoruba people to impose themselves as leaders in any market in Igboland.
There is a history, pattern and tradition of how market leaders emerge in Yorubaland. You cannot just wish that away just because you happen to be more in number in a particular market. Democracy has its boundaries!

The Igbo should just take time to reflect deeper. People are beginning to see the tendency to want to defy the rules, history, tradition and culture of their hosts and impose themselves on the host community and have their way in their own style. For instance, many landlords are not wary of giving their apartments to Igbo people in Lagos. But it was not like that before. What happened?

This is quite opposite to the Yoruba ideology of living in harmony with the tradition and rules of your hosts, whether in Kano or Jos or in foreign lands like Ghana, Togo, Benin etc.

In Ghana for instance, Yoruba people had been there for over 100 years, living and doing business peacefully with full regard for the rules, regulations, culture and tradition of the Ghanaian people. The Ghanaian people and govt never had any cause to worry about the attitude and activities of Nigerian traders and businesssmen, right from their pre-independence days through the early 90s(except the general deportation of aliens in 1969 by the Busia govet). But the Ghanaian people and govt are now complaining about the attitude and activities of Nigerian traders and businessmen in the last couple of years! Ask yourselves why now?

Let the Igbo guys have a person that would be co-attending meetings with the Babaloja and protect their interests. It is enough honour to name the market after an Igbo man.....they should not go too far!
