This is obviously a great Idea.I used to wonder that if the half of the numbers of unemployed graduates in Nigeria are to come together and make demands across the nation, these our leaders will sit tight and know that trouble is around the corner. 95% if not 99% of Nigeria under graduate student are potentially unemployed because govt is not engaging in any meaningful development exercise neither are they creating jobs.

Together we can make this difference. We can start the group as an NGO and we sensitize ourselves about happening around us.

Our Vision and mission statement highlighted and modus operandi communicated ACROSS BOARD. We can call/Name the Association_ Challenging Unemployment and Social economic Problems in Nigeria [CUSEP in Nigeria].

NB: We want patriotic Nigerian youths below 40yrs or say 45yrs and we will not form alliances with any political parties

to be frank, d nigerian youth av had it to d full, to d extent dat tempers are boiling and they are lookin for som sort of ways to pour out deir heart and make demselves heard....haba, for a fairly long time d youth of dis country av been sidelined,.. it is tym to take d bull by d horn...i for one dnt care about d name, its d objectives dat we aim to achieve in dis forum dat count nt d name, for me d name is attractive and explanatory at first glance, and which i tink is gud for a newly conceived forum.... and i am re-itterating here dat am in full support of dis movement..
and also, dere are som educated illiterate who feel dey av a job and so its non of ur business,..well we all knw dat in nigeria, job security is neva guaranteed,..dere is high probability dat if u loose a job today, u can remain jobless for d rest of ur life due to fewer job opportunities,..so it shuldnt jux be for unemployed only, but for all nigerian who crave for a better life 4 demselves, loved ones and most importantly deir future generatns unborn.....GOD.bless nigeria

For those that have been hammering on self employment and entrepreneurship.Ponder on this-"I am of the opinion that self-employment is not what you decide doing after graduation, but having a mindset of going solo right from your days in the University.If people with little or no education are doing great as self-employed individuals and employers of labour, I think those of us with higher education should do better provided we are ready to change our mindsets and expectations as per the labour market but government should create an enabling environment that will make businesses to grow

kinnad: I've actually thought of a similar thing brother,but not an association of unemployed graduates. what happens when u later get gainfully employed,will u quit d association or become a senior member? I think we should just form a group of few individuals with the aim of finding ways to reduce unemployment among nigerian graduates. It will be people oriented that even after we have gotten good jobs,the group still functions. we can work together if you are ready,with few other people that are interested

U guys shuld jux 4get d name tin, wat u jux mentioned above is no difference to wat d OP has put in place....,infact, I like d name, it is self explanatory, d name alone tells one d state of d nation, if u are jux comin in, so its nice...., it was d name dat attracted me....we shuld speak more of d objectives and d aims of d movement....and also hw to start organising d few people who av volunteered to be a part of d movement rite away.
