To God be the Glory o..... Meanwhile, 4 NEW Locomotives from China and 2 huge 100 ton Haulage Cranes where also commissioned today
Re: Containerized Cargo Leaves Lagos For Kano/kaduna By Rail by taharqa: 1:37am On Aug 24, 2013
Another Meanwhile, just 2 days ago a train moved for d 1st time in probably more than 12 yrs from PH to Enugu, indicating that d severely damaged rail tracks and bridges (esp those at Aba and Enugu) hv bn successful repaired/ reconstructed. The line has still not bn fully restored though as this train actuali carried materials that wud be used to furder d Restoration work on that line; strongly suggesting that d longer PH-Enugu-Makurdi-Jos-Maiduguri Rail line, wud be fully rehabilitated b4 d end of this year as promised (or at least sections of it), and Passengers and Cargoes can move tru it south/north... Great things are happening in this sector

So far what we have is a photograph .Until we see sustained activity here all of this is just PR.

Dude, the fact that the colonialists did all that and yet left you with just one half-university for 100 million people at independence should tell you who that rail system was set up for, and it wasn't for you.

eddiebruk: Indeed Nigeria is really backward, of course when there are no infrastructure the people are bound to celebrate what is not even worth being considered a worthy development, bring in your insults by trying to politicize it comparing GEJ regime with others, but this is just between Lagos and Kaduna, what happens to the other 34 state,..? really you want to celebrate this in a country...? Ya'all should take a break and get out of Nigeria to see better haulage schemes.
Cool story bro, anything else you want to add?

nigeria needs to step up her game and outlook. its not enough to resuscitate a dead or comatose structure and leave it in the dinosaur state still. you have to bring it up to modern age; itself, environment, functions, intentions and operation. even railroad passing through the desert has a life and not so much sand will be visible. one will think that is a baby sand box or a broad jump pit with that much sand.

plant something and make it nice and dont let people ride as the used to ride in the long time ago. come on nigeria, integrate china along with japan, usa, etc. come out as assortment of all, the best each can bring; make the outcome yours and capitalize on their know how for your own special version of 'know how'.

Transformation joke. 20 containers out of thousands of containers going to the north. We need action and not foto finish for 2015 elections. GEJ should know that he has surrounded himself with enemies who want to deceive him that things are happening.

It wasn't set up for you, but they left it intact, functional and running with the best rail line, rail yards and estates in Sub Afraca till you ran it to the ground. It was yours when they left, they didn't take it with them, we took control of it and named it The Nigerian Railway.

You spew the dumbest the the most insane rubbish ever..

It took PDP fourteen years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need guys who can move with the dynamics of modern time. If 14 years were used to rehabilitate , how many years would it take to construct new rail lines? We can't wait for another fourteen year of clueless maladministration.

PDP has failed Nigerians.

It took PDP 12 years of doing nothing and it took Jonathan 2 years of action.
Lekki Epe express way- 51km- 10 years and still counting- yet there are tolls already on the roads.

What Jonathan has done in 2 years, we haven't witnessed in 30 years. The transformation is everywhere.
The biggest landmark happened yesterday. The privatization of power just delivered the biggest success in 50 years of Nigeria. Now we have cargo trains taking load from Apapa. I finally feel an air of hope for this country.

As soon as that train departs with its first ever precious cargo, one of two things is going to happen:

Either
It's reaches the middle of nowhere and all its containers go scatter for ground yakata cheesy

Or
The youths of one hinterland village in the train's path or Boko Haram fellas derail the train and rob it of its consignment cheesy

Rail line indeedy cheesy

God will boast your brain !!!

U see, this is one of the reason why Federal Government crippled the Education sector so as to keep ,even the few Nigerians, who are educated under some level of control to be able to go gaga in this circumstances!!!

No doubt,Haulage Train is a good development but is that the best we deserve ? Haulage across one state ? Is it not our Right to receive the best treatment from our government as well as the best of the best decision to be undertaken on our behalf ?

Infastructural Development as well as other basic amenities is our basic right and the nation is capable of always doing better than what we usually get !!! ......

So, I will get mad at it all when the nation as a system operates effectively and efficiently but not just for Haulage Train and Locomotives ............... Hey, don't tell me its a start ........... Wharableeping start afta 14yrs of Huge revenue accruing on yearly/Daily basis !!

Personally, my problem is never GEJ But PDP and her products, who has all failed in Accountability,Transparency and Integrity over 14years of domineering power at the central level ....... Can they account for what comes in (revenue) and how such has been effectively disbursed and utilised in the last 14years !!! .... Nigeria is a party state not an Individual's and No matter what, GEJ may control PDP but can never,I repeat, Can never be greater than PDP ......a party that can not account for 14years of fund recieved and disbursed !!

We know and are expecting ''uncommon transformation''[b] as Image Booster against 2015...... That has always been the norm in our political environment ......... Rapid projects in the last hours to seek excuse for completion in another years !!!

May Alpha And Omega grant Nigerians a genuine leader who develops the land genuinely , also, Unified this country,a Nation and not Nation-states!!!

Keep dancing Azonto on Haulages while Sincere9jeria presides over thread on Haulage Achievement !!! Funny !!!

And thats my Opinion,
God Bless Nigeria,amen !!!
