Nice one mr seun. You done what needed to have been done @ the earlier stage. Give ur moderators proper schooling. Spare no bad egg.
Re: A Response To The Open Letter To Seun Osewa by Caracta(f): 9:54pm On Sep 29, 2013
Seun, i think you need to consider the mods working behind the scene most times, like someone suggested on the protest thread. Personally, i like mukina2's style. Or is it because she is a super mod?

If it can be implemented then no problem - this 'no going back' clause. Atleast that way trolls can be checked.
Before someone uses one email address to create 7 different monikers one for each day of the week.

Seun: They will be made to go through compulsory sensitivity training, and if their manners do not improve dramatically by the end of the training, I think we will have no choice but to let them go.
THIS here, is a true CEO. The fact that he replied and the manner in which he did is nothing short of professional. It leaves one wondering how he recruited such a callous personality as a MOD. Thank you, sir.

All I want is a Nairaland 'Private Message' button feature. The email notification doesn't work at times and besides nairaland is suppose to be more interactive than to start going to check ones mail box before contacting ones pals. Pls, kindly look into this.

Seun: Nope. Moderators are hired and retired all the time. In fact, we've been doing this at a much faster rate lately.

The truth of the matter is that some of the mods don't even show up at all, take for example in the celebratity section of nairaland, that section has been taken over by blogger, with false news, linking to their blog, and mods are no where to be found to enforce the rules, why some others over do things, beyond reasoning, I believe if you properly train dem as per forum etiquette as a mod, nairaland will be a better place for all, also there can be some stubborn users, who might not want to take to advise, such people can be banish.
