Congrats jnrbayano..may testimony never leave ur mouth.

I want to ask this, do u believe in confirming through prayer if someone is ur life partner? Like maybe asking a priest like Mbaka to confirm if a person is ur life partner.. I keep wondering how possible it is that most people believe it n it works for them whereas others don't believe and go ahead to marry without involving prayers and the marriage equally works.

No!

I believe you can approach him for counselling, blessing, prayers and guidance.

Confirming a life partner for me is akin to fortune-telling or divination.

One can pray for a sign and God may or may not oblige. Either way, I believe God still want us to use our senses to make some telling decisions in our lives.

Courtship would have been of no use if someone is confirming who our life partners are for us.

Ubenedictus

I am a member of the Bokoharam. I believe without a shred of doubt that suicide bombings and killings of infidels are right and my conscience (intellect) tells me that God has given me this sacred duty.

If I decide tomorrow to go against my act of killing, as directed by God (my belief) would it be right?

PS: It's a trick question.

I believe in confirming through prayers but I don't believe in going to anybody be it a priest or a seer except such a priest assured me of telling me how fat the guy's bank account is accuratelylipsrsealed tongue

That said, I won't also discourage anyone who wants to go either, things work different for people according to their faith. As for me I gave up on people seeing vision for me long ago.

Just like salc said.... I don't subscribe to the idea of meeting any MOG for confirmation..... Though one can go and seek for counseling from them, but its a no no for me to for confirmation of partner... All I need do is pray for the spirit of discernment then for my heart....
But if you feel you will be better off meeting up with an MOG, go for it... Nothing wrong with it....

If God will tell us through the mouth of His prophets who our future spouse is, that means God can tell us when we will die, when misfortune will come, when to expect family problems or good fortunes through the mouth of His prophets. I only believe in meeting a man of God for guidance, counselling, direction and prayers.

On this day many years ago, a lovely child was born to a happy family, it was a day of joy. This child by God's grace has grown from strength to strength, today we join him to celebrate his life so far, the blessings and mercies of God to him as God made him a year older .

We celebrate you with you as we pray God to keep on guiding, guarding, blessing, favouring and surprising you every now and then.

l know Ojota very well as we were all born and raised there though none of us of is still living there but we have still have our properties there. Growing up there was sweet as we grew up with lots of igbo families around us . Eucharia Anunobi's family lived four houses away from us and my mum used to send us to go pluck fresh curry and nchanwu from their compound, can't forget that their black dog called Jalingo, the dog's past-time was chasing children. It died when l was in Primary 5 and kids were very happy! Ironically, l know love dogs as l will always look forward to bathing our dogs every Saturdaycheesy cheesy cheesy

A lot of prayers should be involved in choosing life partners, for this is a life long vocation. Jesus prayed all night and when it was day, He chose His apostles Luke 6:12-13. We could as well seek help in prayers from our brethren. The way and manner God decides to direct you is entirely His and diverse, however in all, tell yourself and whoever agrees to pray for you,the truth. Know that it is a greater risk to go into marriage on the strength of another person's revelation...except when it affirms your position. Again, even when your marriage is match made in heaven, there is no guarantee that it won't be your cross.

On the contrary, I came from the ajepako kinda family, I grew up with my maternal granny right in the heart of the villa, but suffice it to say "I remain her pet till date" so you see since I was all alone with her and never the type who go out to play with other children, she had to get me a pet dog at home, and that dog was all a had, and I don't even let her go outside the gate safe she is with me. But my dog was well fed and taken care of that people around enjoy seeing her and buying her puppies. Granny finally sold the dog when I left for the uni because she was getting old.

I still miss her though cheesy
