We don't even have a transformer in Aka Itiam/Nsikak Eduok 2-Lanes, Uyo. That means there has been no light in this metropolitan community for more than 6 months now. Its a shame that our Nigerian PHCN engineers cannot fix a minor power problem in the capital city, next door to their office. Would they then be able to give light to those far flung communities hundreds of kilometres from the capital city? CAPITAL NO! Shame on them.

Since I posted this topic, the situation has only gotten worse.
We got 15mins a day a couple of weeks ago, now its an hour in 5-7 days straight.
I wonder what happened to the supposed 4500 MW we already had and all the commissioned power plants.
Even with a 'teeth-ing' problem, shouldn't the performance be at par with pre- privatization or shouldn't the mega watts already on ground count for something before more is added?
