This is sad, R.I.P to the dead. Bt ds shud nt delay the meeting longer than expected we rily want to knw our fate if the strike will end soon or its still going to continue.

@dayo23, Don't wonder any more. Not a few people including my humble self have resolved not to fly locally out of personal assessments of safety records. Secondly,in case he is not in this group, I doubt there is a direct flight from his location to the destination.

Like I said earlier.
At the begining of a week, ASUU usually brings a Good-new about how the strike will end in the week, then at the end, the whole news turns around.
Next tin U will hear on Friday is "probably Nxt week"

please ASUU have a no flight policy for their members when they go on national duty. which means that none of its member can travel by air to its meeting

A source confirmed that the ASUU
National Executive Council
meeting scheduled to take place
at Bayero University, Kano today
would no longer hold.
He said the strike will
continue until the
professor is buried and all issues
concerning his death are solved.
He also said the union may have
to include
compensation of Professor
Iyayi's family into the agreement
since he died in the cause of
trying to end the strike.

The strike should not be called off until the man is buried in the 3rd quarter of next year,this would be a sign of respect to the man and his family,but if they decide to call it off,i would not go back to school until the man is buried cuz d spirit will surely hunt souls in schs, am too young to die.
