faithfulgirl: Hello fam. I'm a silent follower of the great thread. My visa interview is sooon. I nee a place around ikeja or ogba to take my passport photograph. Please can you suggest any studio? Thanks

Go to the Awolowo house under the Ikeja bridge and you will see a studio there and its just 500 naira or you go to all those 1 minutes passport people and tell them you want to take 5cm by 5cm pix for embassy and they will do it for you

Hello House pls can one go to the embassy with a 3yr old TOEFL result, though english requirement was waived during the admission application process and I-20 has been received already.

Please, don't be misconstrued, obviously one shld have money for air ticket, more importantly your BTA. The question is, must you have a year's tuition before u can travel? Even in free town nothing is free.

Don't go to the embassy with an expired test score. Simply tell the VO it was waived for u and to be in a safer side get them to send u an email to that effect.

@ Joenice, I am neither disconcerted nor disenchanted I was specific with my request. I only made reference to tuition and not other allowances .

ridimic1: hello house..im in a dilema right now ..need help... msc computer science vs msc information technology....my top 2 schools r valpo uni n troy..at valpo they offer info, tech while troy offers pure computer sc..yesterday i read some reviews about d weather n off campus housing at valpo uni at indiana n it was bad.they all complained of too much snow n al dat n classes r rarely cancelled..on d oda hand troy uni got a better weather and housing review review than valpo

also i read some reviews about msc computer science n found out its very difficult compare to IT..and also computer sc has got higher job opportunities dan IT.

my question; as an average student will it b wise to finally chose troy uni over valpo uni to study computer sc due to the bad weather n off camp housing reviews i got about valpo uni, or is computer sc not hard as people say it is, so i can jus settle with troy?.
thanks.

well im also kind of in same situation as u.......i have some friends having dia masters in cs abroad,,de sed its simple for them since de r scholasr
...im also an average student...but maybe msc cs is not hard as u might tink...

as for d weather...u might come to like snowy weather lol...dont kn sha o...al d abroad people shud confirm lol

Winter is nice and i love it. It makes you look more superior on jackets. But one major drawback is when you're ill, it becomes a nightmare to you going out :-) Blacks always look cuter than whites in winter anyway :-)

Talk to the school(your international advisor) about it first... As long as you have applied, evaluation of results can still take place even after the deadline.

You can surely wait for your NECO result just inform your international adviser. (just try sending your waec result first, if they reject it, tell it to then that you have a result pending and you'll be sending it to them as soon as it comes online)
There's no need to be confused.
And GOODLUCK with your TOEFL exam
...thank you..I will contact them tomorrow...today is labor day
