victorD3: Lagos, Kwara,Ogun and now Rivers state are common dominators of Ebola #sayNOtoAPC

Can you read what u posted again. U can not leave politics out of this even though people are dieing? Which party is pontificating over the affairs of Nigeria in the first place when Ebola travel all the way from Liberia, cross the international boarder and entered Nigeria (Lagos). Have u lost counts of how many federal agencies at the airport and yet due to inefficiency, the virus enter the country. VictorD3, if I may ask u, which party control all these federal agencies at the airport can u answer? U are dull, better leave politics out of this, if not even Abuja where ur oga dey go soon have their own. Must u politicize every thing?

Aderupoko2: Why Ebola con dey APC states.....?

First ask urself why Ebola con dey PDP country Nigeria?

Now, when the case of Liberian Sawyer first came up, I have postulated Port-harcourt(Ph) and Abuja as the next most vulnerable cities in the country. This is because of volume of people that travel by air and by road from Lagos to either Ph or Abuja daily. It is not unusual to have it spreading going by our antecedent of carelessness, poor planning and faulty preparation. Nigeria is a joke! If not, no single Nigerian have this Ebola initially, but our Govt, agencies of Govt at the boarder and airport folded their arm and allow the dammed thing to crawled into the country from far off country. I am beginning to lose hope in this country. We can not get anything right? What is the problem with us? Now instead of collectively look for the solution of the problem, some people now politicize it.

TAN rally is to hold in portharcourt over the weekend, and Ebola in pH was made public on Thursday and for now only one person, A doctor is confirm to be dead and 100+ under check.
My point: though am taking precautions as not to get it, but I think politics has come into play here and only rivers govt can explain further.

My friends this port harcourt case is highly politicized. Reading through the post of a lot of us here tells me how gullible and ignorant the average Nigerian is. Governor Amaechi will do anything to show the world how popular he is in Rivers state. The Ebola alarm is meant to stop the TAN rally scheduled for Saturday in port harcourt.
The rivers commissioner for health until this morning boastfully tells whoever cares to listen that there is no Ebola case in rivers. Yet the same man some hours later is telling us a suspected carer died of the virus after being watched for a week. And that about 100 more are still being observed.
Is it a mere coincidence that the APC is telling jonathan to stop the TAN rally of Saturday. Reason: Ebola outbreak in Port harcourt. Nigerians read in between the line. Amaechi as usual is playing politics with a matter as serious as Ebola. think u ate wrong on this one. Indeed a know Dr died of d virus. It has nothin to do wit politics.
Amaechi time wil tell![/quote]

You need to wake up
Dr Enemoah was already dead when Prof Chukwu announced that we had only one Ebola case in Nigeriaase
And Prof Chukwu knew
Afterall this case was also traced to Sawyer
And Prof Chukwu has been making all the announcements

From Day 1 the government has been managing info about Ebola

Have you asked yourself why the govt was announcing only 1 remaining Ebola case and
also extending school holiday by 6 weeks - compulsorily for both public and private schools?

I just hope they are not politicizing this ebola thing. Why didn't we hear of this Port Harcourt Ebola until after one Month of Patrick Sawyer. Why didn't we hear about the Port Harcourt ebola till the Minister of Health mentioned that the funds for Ebola will be used to purchase vehicles. Why didnt the diplomat go to the north? why SouthWest then South-South. Plenty 'Whys'

I reliably learnt that the PA to the commissioner of lands and housing in Imo state died on Tuesday evening at his abode in Orji. He was vomiting blood prior to his demise which happened very rapidly after complaining of feeling unwell that evening. That's all that could be ascertained from second hand information. He was also in the habit of taking alcoholic beverages. Liberally too. The man has a wife and an infant.
following up the case

What really has party affiliations got to do with the spread and containment of ebola? Enough with the finger pointing already! The FG must put the lives and safety of Nigerians before politics abeg.

A very good Article about Ebola you will finde in the science magazine

http://www.sciencemag.org/content/345/6200/989.full.pdf

the news we got in my country is that the WHO speak that it will take between 6 and 9 month until west africa is Ebola free and it could be posible that about 20 000 people can get Ebola in the next month.

This post shows how a non profit organisation still is working in Liberia, SOS child village has the only health center in monrovia which is open 24/7 at the moment.

The dead man's corpse has been in UPTH since last friday and its just this evening that the FG sent a team to assess the situation and body. Why is government mishandling the situation?
