States with percentages over 35
1) Kaduna: 36.38% which represents 36 514 students-about double the number who passed in Imo state
2) Ebonyi: 36.05% representing just 9 170 students out of 25 436

Even with all the question leakages.
The northern states need to sit up. Well, maybe Boko Haram would be happy with their poor performance.

even if you write on the chalk board for northerners, they will still fail woefully, education is still far from most of them.

Why are you so worried about Imo,what about Enugu where your beloveth Sullivan Chime is performing wonders.
It also beats my imagination to stupor that you are asking why is Anambra always coming first...As if you dont know the amount of reform that went down in Anambra education sector, while Chime is planting flowers and sweeping roads...lol
Funny guy.

People keep trashing Abia's state government on these online forums, yet Abia is always well represented when it truly counts. The Gov and the state must be doing something right.

Yes, you are right. Somebody told me he marked some scripts from Borno where metaphor must have been written on the board and so many student wrote metaplion and some metaphone. Funny.

This table is so instructive.
I am glad that female pupils are waxing stronger. More females passed more than their male counterparts. The southerners passed more than their northern counterparts.
So wish our northern elected officials shall take this as a challenge and take education in their areas to another level, we will all be happy for it. Andd we pray for our children in the troubled north east.
Let's keep this thread clean, it's the lives of the future ones that's at stake here.

If not for Ebonyi (placed 11th), all 5 South Eastern states would have been in the top 10.

The downward trajectory of delta, cross rivers and Akwa ibom should be alarming to governments of these states. I hope Uduaghan, and co are seeing these states slip, year after year. We now have a 40% pass average, that is not acceptable. The hefty expenditure on education is not showing in these results. On the other hand Edo and Bayelsa states have seen a remarkable improvement.

odenigbo, so disappointed in you.
Mentioning the okoracha's SA on misinformation in a thread where a reputable organisation like WAEC's results is being discussed.
This is not a thread of pictures of assumpta or whetheral road owerri.

I dont see any reason why Rivers and Akwaibom shouldn't be in the top three of that five best list. With all the billions they are pouring into the education sector there shouldn't be any reason for this abysmal performance.

Like the Odenigbo always say, some people get money while some get wisdom....As for Anambra God has blessed us with wisdom and a torch to show others the way and we humbly oblige.

Unfortunately we are down to number 9. With a 40% pass average. This is very very disappointing.
