Source NTA News.....,
The Nation
This is INEC result so far. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Saturday by-election in Niger East Senatorial election inconclusive.

The candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Shem Zagbayi Nuhu is so far leading by 89,640 votes against David Umaru of All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 84,698 votes.

Declaring the result inconclusive at about 6:30am Sunday, the Returning Officer for the election, Professor Wole Morenikeji said there problems in 7 units in 5 local government areas which rendered the results of the units void.

He said fresh election will hold in the affected units on Saturday September 6 befoire a final result of te by-election would be announced.[/quote]

Do you know it's very easy to manufacture results and post on nairaland? The most authentic result is the one released by the election umpire INEC and that result says PDP is leading. You guys at APC are alarmists and confusionists. You post fake figures online so that when the authentic result is released you will have something to discredit it. Sorry you have lost.

Hmmmmm!!!!

So PDP is leading APC in the declared results? shocked

Does it mean that Peeps on here deliberately chose to be posting results from where APC won to create the impression that APC is leading?

It was only meforyou1 that kept insisting that PDP was leading from the information he's getting back home. And this vanguard article has vindicated him.

This result as announced by INEC is bullshit, trust me, it is.

I have been following this thread without making any comment but I feel I must. The PDP candidate, Zagbayi, a Gbagyi man, served as deputy gov for eight years without any meaningful project for his people. The Gbagyi's hate him to the core.

David Umaru of the APC has more love. He is a grassroot man, Zagbayi is not. Hell, Zagbayi is not even a good politician.

I am in Minna, and I went to about 14 polling units, even the one beside the governor's house. The message was the same, David Umar. Most people here didn't vote for the party, they voted for the man. Few days to the election, I went with some of my community's youth executive to see Maibasira, PDP's National Youth Leader, who gave us some cash and admonished our support. Now that man comes back home almost every weekend from Abuja, and has always shied away from sitting with the youths of his area until a few days to election. So, who is fooling who? That is what most of them are about. They only know us when its time for election.

I am not for any party, only good candidates, and David is miles from Zagbayi.

INEC did well in Osun and Ekiti, they shouldn't undo all the accolades they amassed from those two elections. Besdies, Minna is a peaceful town but the people are not foolish, they might decide to fight for their rights.

The election was held in 9 lGAs from what has been said, as such a breakdown of result from each of the lgas will suffice, judging from the results posted APC canadidate won on a landslide in Minna, but can the same be said in all other LGAs.
I will prefer to see a breakdown of the result, and then what led to the result been declared inconclusive?, and finally what does INEC refers to as 7 units for elections to be held? polling units or ward units?

Bros, I know the PDP national youth leader too. Leave that thing.
APC won in Minna, no doubt. I monitored Minna elections by phone yesterday. You know same thing happened in 2011 when CPC won in Minna federal constituency. CPC even won the Minna end of the senatorial too then, but PDP won in the overall.
Remember in Kure's 2nd term election, a minister from Niger then, Mustapha Bello of PDP, resigned his post and came and contested for governorship. Decamped from PDP to PRP on the eve of the PDP governorship primaries.
The man won in Minna for an unknown PRP, but Kure of PDP won the governorship and PRP then died a natural death.
The fact is that Minna always votes opposition, but unfortunately, Minna is not the whole of Niger State.

Bros, I got the overall picture of the situation last night. That PDP was leading. And posted it. But APC propagandists were just busy posting results of Minna and Bosso where APC was leading. And some APC fanatics like barcanista were screaming to high heavens. Asking me to post my own results, when I'm in Abuja and not on ground. They wanted me to start manufacturing results and post as they usually do, I say no, wait for INEC. And this morning. INEC announced the results and they have all gone to bed in daylight in shame.

are u not educated? Why should you ever wait for APC to comment on an election before you comment further. While you were running your mouth carelessly last night and this morning, u didnt realise that APC had not made any official statement on the election?
I will rather die than allow my right to comment on an election to depend on liar mohammed's lopsided statements.
And don't you think that your APC warlords had not commented because they truly knew the election was free and fair?

Zic With all due respect, you weren't in the 9 LGAs in Niger East. Heck you only visited about 14 polling units in Minna.

You believe APC's candidate is a better candidate. They're are others that think otherwise. You may call them gullible. But somehow, the gullible ones that voted PDP outnumbered the reasonable ones that voted APC.

What I don't subscribe to, is the insinuation of rigging or foul play. Things cannot always go your way.

We are yet to hear reports of violence or foul play. I'm sure you APC's central control and monitoring centre have all the figures from all the polling units. If the INEC results was manipulated, we would've heard.

which ward to ward, which local to local govt? My friend go and sit down. Those results were from random polling stations. and mainly from some polling stations in Chanchaga and Bosso local govts. If you don't know how polling stations, wards and local governments election systems work, then shut the hell up.
