Why do you think most ATM stayed on with Xp until MS decided to discontinue XP support.

People don't just adopt technology because it's new, but because it's works.

Windows 8 is a technology flop and MS admits that.

Windows 9 should better be less complicated and confusing like the windows 8.

I'm always confuse when people say they are unfriendly with windows8. For be it's the best windows OS so far. User friendly and easy to use. Though it was a bit confusing when i set my eyes on it the first time.

Had issue initially operating win 8 but later fell in love with it....most win 7 apps works fine on win 8 and ve been using the start menu on my win 8 can't wait to see what win 9 looks like

You could have remained with Windows 95, it was very simple & neat.

Windows 8 is very easy to use. Actually its just windows 7 with added functions. The search button alone murders windows 7 and u don't need any command prompts to get to certain menus.. just use the search button. You want to get to control panel? Use search button. Want to get to device manager? Use search button. Want regedit? Use search button. In fact u can use the search button to navigate anywhere in windows 8.1. So in reality it is less cumbersome than its predecessor.

It is not by force for everyone to use window9. If you cannot use window8 successfully, seek for the knowledge from the experts or you port to the window you can use. Remember, variety is the spice of life. People should learn to appreciate new inventions.

I did nothing extra ordinary. I just google it, download the installer. Run it but you need internet connection to install because during the installation it will download the main files.

I tell u. Windows 8 is a better version of windows 7. It has every functions of windows 7 but better presentation and neater UI. Better notification and I love the charms bar. What about ability to share ur desktop by just swiping from left to right on the trackpad. I've been using windows 8/8.1 for 2 years now.. and 2 weeks ago I tried using a friend's windows 7 and I was like WTF is this?

People are just afraid of change. They see the metro UI and in their mind they thought they can't use it. Really if u don't want the metro just boot to desktop and its not too different from windows 7.

Trust most people here with their Win 8 hate, they bought into the largely unfounded hate from the internet with little or no personal experience of their own.
