LegatusGlaber: No sir. Even our military is split into Corps with distinct equipment. That is an infantry (trad. green berets) support vehicle. Tanks are the exclusive preserve of the armoured corps - what the Americans call the cavalry (trad. black berets) made famous by one of its sons - IBB. They have not been deployed in this conflict to the best of my knowlege. |

Orikinla: [size=18pt]Boko Haram had such "MONSTROUS" tanks and the Nigerian military could not see them since 2013 until now? And do you know what next is coming over the border from Chad. The military has no mandate outside our borders for now so it is not their fault. Ask the NIA what they are being paid for. 2 Likes |

Reference:AFAIC, cavalry should be seperated from armour. Cavalry should be for fast-moving vehicles like MRAPs, APCs, and other IFVs alone. I feel that in guerrilla warfare, how fast you can counter-attack determines the outcome of most skirmishes. The main battle tanks NA has are just too slow and archaic to get the job done. 2 Likes |

OrlandoOwoh:I don't think so bro. The one siezed were recovered earlier, I think. Majority of gadaffi's weapons were scattered after he fell. So they might find their ways to poros borders. And you can see that the one they later captured that has boko Haram logo and symbols from the leaders are not designed and painted in the bush. Those guys mean business o. |

The truth is that, you separate islam from terrorism all over the world. Infact islam itself is a violent and rebelious religion. Do your research well. 1 Like |
