prowitin: Lol . I meant is a nice discussion thread but the last comment there was in mid june so I decided to resurrect it before asking my question. My question is who pays for the shipping since the shipping is free? |
Re: The Ultimate Guide To Selling Your Imported Goods On Konga Marketplace by AdekunleIG(m): 5:16pm On Jul 09, 2015 |
Seller has paid for the shipping and added the cost to his or her selling price. That's how its done worldwide. |

am a seller in benin, going to 1month old, well the way i do my delivery is more preferable and better than k express for me o. i partner with transporters in benin that run lagos, abuja,ph, akwaibom and others, some people might thing this is the worst and more expensive than k express, i sell anything sellable but more on fashion, i have sold up to 25 successful sales within a month, my drivers operate more better than k express becos with my drivers, i can send double items with different sizes for customer to choose her size andmy driver return this back with my money and removes his own commission as signed and agree on. they have company customise t shirt with face cap each time they delivery. its also cheap if you see a good drivier.lets say if i have an item sold for 4k to abuja, driver share will be 1k... to abj, after he drops their passenger, he starts driving straight to the location... 1 Like |

prowitin:. Even as I am typing now, I am in Lagos, same thing, K-express has big fuckup, if I put extral item for my customer to choose exact size and return other, that means that dress don enter 1 chance be that, also the issue of Returning item any taggs rejected or not available by K-express will not be entertained. The delivery man must reach and see the customer face to face to deliver, infact its not easy becos before I join konga, I don they front since for pay on delivery deals accross naija, but to make the driver re serious with your company, you must have an agreement booklet where the driver have tosign each time he wants to kick off with your item, the company also let them no that reward(gift) with be after 5 successfully delivery, in the case you as an importer, I don't see thing that will drag your profit if you atlease import something Nice as present.... Doing all this make sense, |

chiefkpokp: How will you pay Konga commission when the deal is sealed? If you choose to exempt vat, who pays for it ? The buyer or would it be deducted from your sale? When one is using Kexpreess; who packages the item for the buyer, is it the seller or Konga? How Long does under review takes before going live. Don't mind my jamb questions AdekunleIG: Your head dey there jare . That is what I planned doing but i decided to know how Konga works. Thanks |

Profitsng:why would you advice someone to tag a used item as new? i am so ashame of you. an oppurtunity given by konga, instead of thinking of how to build trust and good reputation, you are already thinking of how to defraud some. pathetic soul. 2 Likes |

AdekunleIG: Thanks for your response. The guy said he handles his shipment base on POD so I was wondering how konga would get paid knowing fully well that the buyer did not pay on konga platform as the buyer paid directly to the seller |

Re: The Ultimate Guide To Selling Your Imported Goods On Konga Marketplace by chiefkpokp(m): 8:13am On Jul 11, 2015 |
mavinc4u:. Hmmm! Okay, I do my shippment myself, so when my customer received the item after confirm quality and paid to the delivery man, I enter my dashboard to update shippment to delivered, and after few days the item is been changed to deliver, konga keeps the record, after 1month, they will give me invoice of commissions for total successful deliveries... Am expecting the invoice any moment from now, I have been been disturbing them to know... Because to my own calculations though other item is yet to be confirmed as delivered, roughly calculations show konga might be charging me, between 13-16k.... Based on the 10% commission. And then they would give me their account to pay this money into or anyhow.... 1 Like |
