Re: 5 Major Disadvantages Of Android by Nobody: 6:17pm On Jan 04, 2015 |
LewisO:i not derailing android, am saying the software causes the hardware to behave that way, even if u pick an m8 android, and m8 wp, u will see the diff in the way the phones peform tho they are the exact same hardware specs. |

LewisO:now look at this SlashGear has done some tests on both the Android-based HTC One (M8) and the HTC One (M8) for Windows and has found that the Windows Phone version of the device offers vastly superior battery life despite the fact that both devices run on practically identical hardware. After nearly 27 hours of standby time, for instance, SlashGear found that the Android version of the device had 68% of its battery life remaining while the Windows version still had 81% of its battery life remaining. And you don’t have to take SlashGear’s word for it either, because the publication also found that HTC itself says that the Android version of the One (M8) will offer 12 hours of usage time while the Windows version will offer 21 hours. The bottom line, notes SlashGear, is that “HTC sees Android as taking up more power when its in use than Windows Phone 8 does on their hardware.” bgr.com/2014/08/25/android-vs-windows-phone-htc-one-m8/ I did not write that article o. |

asuustrike2009:Look. At this again the core reason why Android is laggy is the way it treats UI rendering. While on iOS UI rendering happens in a separate thread with real-time priority, on Android this happens in the main thread with normal priority. This of course means that other apps can take over your processor resources and hurt basic UI interactions, translating into a noticeable lag. Munn examplifies this with Safari and the Android browser - if you tap and hold into the Safari window while it’s loading a webpage, the loading process stops, as UI rendering has the highest priority and takes over. The result is that the webpage will not load until you lift your finger off, but the UI will remain buttery smooth all the time. Android has a radically different approach - it will try to maintain a reasonable response rate for the UI and load the webpage, but often the framerates would drop causing a visible lag. “Android UI will never be completely smooth because of the design constraints I discussed at the beginning: UI rendering occurs on the main thread of an app UI rendering has normal priority […] This is the same reason why Windows Mobile 6.5, Blackberry OS, and Symbian have terrible touch screen performance. Like Android, they were not designed to prioritize UI rendering. Since the iPhone’s release, RIM, Microsoft, and Nokia have abandoned their mobile OS’s and started from scratch. Android is the only mobile OS left that existed pre-iPhone,” Munn says. www.phonearena.com/news/Here-is-why-Android-is-laggy-and-why-its-going-to-remain-like-that-in-the-near-future_id24434 |

There is difference between being educated and wise. if u are educated and wise, you wont choose iphone over android and you wont choose any chipset over mtk. iphone and other chipset apart from mtk are simply #over priced shit# if u agree, hit me like jare \shoki/ |
Re: 5 Major Disadvantages Of Android by threadstone(m): 8:14pm On Jan 04, 2015 |
Runzlord, well spoken.. Theyll be quick to condemn anything u say. Even the gionee jiayu infinix be elephone loving thread users will be here forming flagship. Everyone is quick to mention that android never heats up like we were born yesterday. Samsung s4 htc one users, are u still here? The op made some salient points. Android hangs ( yes all phones do) but if u put the android ecosystem at 80% and more than half of the android phones are midrange devices, why wont it hang? Pls spare me all those talk of 3000mAH 4000 bs, when a phone heats up due to usage (more energy is lost hence battery drain. Malware ish Remember when bbm came to ios and android. Part of the issue most android users faced was having to download various crapwares and malwares claiming to be bbm due to the opensourced nature of android playstore which led to the project being suspended. They are more malwares in the playstore than any other market. Octacore hexacore heptacore etc too much reliance on paper specs. yet theres no one close to bb10 in multitasking. If making an OS was an easy task tell your samsung htc jiayu elephone lg acer hp asus be tecno oems to make theirs not load the And before u mention customization, have u ever heard of jailbreaking? Thats your android equivalent of rooting and its sooooo superb infact most of its features are being loaded at the next ios update. 80% of u here are stuck for life on jellybean or gingerbread os. No movement up except u buy a new device. I was in ur shoes before Samsung Mega, lg ls840. (Super hot), grand duos, s duos. And before u say i dont know jack. I handle various devices everyday. So i know of heating, hanging and all. Begged for kitkat for aeons. moved to CM11 CM12. Dumped d crap. Joined d ios team. Loving life here. Ios 8.0.2, stepped up to 8.1.2 moving to 8.2 Still sure of getting ios 9 10 11. Three frigging years update! Can u say the same for your device |

So because mtk allows users u change imei so u can perpetuate ur scam robbing ppl of their free data and using glo bis, its the best chipset. Smh. Even broadcomm wont say that where snapdragon is. But why argue Its dem mtkboys. Ali express fans |
