Collynzo9:Thanks for the link. From the break down of the collection rate of pvc. I think GEJ should be really scared. I notice that buhari stronghold states like katsina and kano have a higher pvc collection rate. GEJ's State Bayelsa just have about 300k pvc collection. I now see why PDP wants the election to be postpone and APC is against the postponing of the election. I based on the collection rate and if only PVC is use in voting, Buhari might win GEJ because he has the number in the north. Anyway, why are southerners not coming in mass to collect their pvc. Lagos just have 38% , Rivers 49% and Ogun 36% pvc collection rate which is really sad. This mean voters apathy would be really low in southern state |

Abagworo: Agbaworo How many seats are in these imo state stadiums? This was a statement made by your governor years ago about renovating the eyesore called dan anyiam stadium. Who is the construction work going? LOL Dan Anyiam stadium will be the best after renovation - Okorocha Governor Rochas Okorocha yesterday explained that government has embarked on the renovation work on the Dan Anyiam stadium to upgrade the sports facility to be the best of stadium in the country. Okorocha made this disclosure while briefing newsmen after inspecting the ongoing renovation work at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri. He assured the members of Heartland Football Club of government determination to ensure they are in the best spirit to prosecute the forthcoming CAF Confederation Cup. Okorocha while expressing confidence that the team would win the trophy pointed out that the state is showcasing a wonderful team that will make them proud again. He assured the players that the state government is making necessary arrangement to pay them their allowances and bonus. The governor urged them to imbibe the same spirit of sacrifice being exhibited in the past, stressing that it will enable them to excel in their future engagements. Originally posted by ujoinme. APC is welcome to campaign in Akwa Ibom But we wonder what they are going to tell Us here in Akwa Ibom: 1).Is it that they will build us roads? Akpabio has built 350 roads in Akwa Ibom has completed 1900 km and more are under construction.A record that no Nigerian governor past or present has achieved in 7.5yrs in the history of this great country. 2a) will they tell us about bridges? we will turn around and say But the PDP government has built us 38 bridges and 5 flyovers in 7.5 yrs. thereby opening up our state for investments as there are no access roads to all LGAs in the state. The "Abak bridge" Master piece that will be the tallest bridge in Africa currently receiving finishing touching from Julius berger will be commissioned march 2015 by Mr President, and will yet again put Akwa Ibom in the Map amd link community that was cut off for ages. 2b).Is it electricity? Akpabio has completed Ibom power plant that generates 191 MW of electricity to the national grid and is currently expanding it to 600 MW capacity, If states were allowed to generate electricity for their personal consumption without passing through the National grid. The 191 MW Akwa Ibom Currently generates will be more than enough for the whole state. Besides this Akpabio has successfully collaborated with The FG and Mobil exxon Who are building a 500 MW gas fired plant at QIT ibeno as we speak. The govt of PDP has attracted private investor SEVEN ENERGY and SEPTA petroleum who have built and is currently processing 200million cubic ft of gas daily at Uquo, gas processing plant in Esit Eket. Thereby making our state able to supply adequate gas to fire our Ibom Power plant Alscon and also supply gas to the IPP in calabar and Unicem in calabar. Availability of gas in Akwa Ibom also makes the state attractive for investors who will like to build industries, for they will be assured of privately generated gas not the inefficient NNPC govt inefficient gas suppliers to power their factories. 3). Are that going to tell us About Education? The PDP administration has instituted free and compulsory education in the state and has built 4000 classroom blocks in 7 yrs and has also built a bi- campus state university that will graduate its first set 2015. and the FG has also established a federal Polytechnic in Akwa Ibom State. 4) Are they going to tell us about building us ports? The brand new Akwa Ibom international Airport is already functional and recieved the APC leaders Aircrafts when they came calling, The Ibaka deep seaport And Export processing zone is on course having recently passed all the FG evaluation and economic viability test and is set to be approved by the FEC for funding 5) Are they going to tell us about corruption? and we will look at their leaders in Atiku and Tinubu and scream these are the two most corrupt Nigerians in the history of corruption that we know, And we will ask How will these corrupt leaders stem out corruption in Nigeria? 6) Will they tell us about poverty in the land ? and we will tell their leaders that Akwa Ibom people were poorer when Gen. Buhari was the president of Nigeria, And we will ask, what new ideas has general buhari gained since then that will make Akwa Ibom people richer, And we will equally ask him to list the projects he sited in Akwa Ibom When he was in charge of PTDF where 80% of his projects were sited in the North even though 99% of the funding for PTDF was from SS. 7)Will they tell us about change? we will tell them that Akwa Ibom people have never seen the kind of uncommon transformation that we have witnessed in the past 10yrs under PDP. 8][b]Job creation? All the major contracts in the state has created jobs for teaming youths of Akwa Ibom, thereby giving the opportunity to hone their skills in construction,5,000 teachers employed by Akpabio,The Airport, Stadium, ibom tropicana,The Federal polytechnic, The Akwa ibom state university, Beko industries, Siba industries, greenfield technologies, Uquo gas processing plant, Seyang-geldsa transformer factories and manymore projects are providing jobs for youths that were hitherto unemployed.Though more jobs is still needed in the state. 9).On Security, We will tell APC that PDP states are generally more secure and peaceful than APC states and that is a testimony to the investment and value that Akpabio and other PDP governors attach to security, and we will ask APC what are their plans to bring peace to the states they govern like Borno,Kano etc that bombs are exploding on a daily bases? In Akwa Ibom A brand new police mobile base has been built by the state govt with a state of the arts police secondary school and donated to the NPF to enable then discharge their duties, countless vehicles, boats, communication equipment and other accesories has been provided by the state govt to enable a secure environment in AKS, What will APC do differently? 10). On Agriculture AKS PDP can point to the women in Agricultural development program WADEP, that has empowered over 2000 women with agric loans of 250,000 each, and over 4000 youths have been empowered with 500,000 agric loans most of these new farmers are now running successful farms in the rural areas of AKS and helping to improve the state Agric. 11).Housing, AKS PDP will point to the 5000unit housing scheme in Uruan and ikot ekpene and the 310 unit houses that the state has built 10 in each LGAs to enable LGA chairman and key members of the LGA to have access to good housing in their LGA so they can live there and work rather than relocate to the state capital. 12). Healthcare AKS PDP will point to free medical care and free immunization for kids 0-5yrs and free medical care for the elderly 65 and above, AKS has employed 160 doctors in the state and bought them new cars so they can effective do their jobs by travelling to rural primary health centres, The state has built, equiped and put to use 5 new general hospitals in LGA that none existed before in IBENO,Ukanafun, okorotte, ika and essien udim. and the state of arts 467 bed 20th Anniversary specialist hospital that that is currently being equipped and is due for commissioning 1st qtr 2014. and we will ask APC how many hospitals they have built in their respective states that they have been administrating. We welcome APC to Akwa Ibom but it will be extremely difficult for them to get votes in Akwa Ibom Because they have no track record to campaign in Akwa Ibom And our people know that APC has no Agenda for Nigeria besides screaming corruption when indeed their leaders are the personification of Corruption. Has PDP solved all the problems in Akwa Ibom? NO! but because of the track record of PDP in AKS we trust them to do more in the coming years and address issues they have been thin on,than vote a party that has no track record of accomplishing anything on ground in Our dear state. 1 Like |

When God wants to bless and crown a man , he will blind and confuse his enemies. If APC had chosen Atiku and Fasola as their flag bearer they could have been sure of a landslide victory. But they blindly chose a man that can nolonger keep up with the pace of the global world, a man without certificate, a sexist. I know they must have realised their mistake, but its rather too late. 1 Like |

You are dragging about name here, do you know that the percentage of Lagosians working in Apapa seaport is low compared to other Nigerians? If you cannot make yourself useful to the system without wearing the tango of tribe or indigene, don't even bother about waiting for projects to be completed cos you won't benefit either even if it is sited in your backyard with your village name on it |
