coldFLARES1: Some of you are incredibly daft. What is the basis for comparing the unfortunate at a political rally in Okrika with the unwarranted attack by APC supporters on a PRIVATE BUSINESS? What is Chisco's business with the APC procession or whatever? Money wasted on your 'education' can never be recovered, and that is a tragedy to whoever had the misfortune of financing your (mis)education. |

AustineE1:Can you imagine? Is this not the height of wickedness? A private company burned down purely because the owner is an Igboman. God has a way of doing things. If Tifnubu like, if apc likes, Buhari will never win any elections in Nigeria. Never. Alll those apc members who are out to bring down GEJ just for nothing will fail before the due date. No escape routes for them.. 2 Likes |

Don't mind them. The picture shown is taken from the junkyard of Chisco that is underneath the Eko Bridge between Iponri and Costain bus stops in Surulere. The vehicles are obsolete vehicles that are no longer in use. Infact Lagos state should take up Chisco Management for turning the place to an illegal junkyard. Caseless: |

hedonistic:Our cases would be better served if we opt to look from our prisms with same objectivity. You called the Okrika incidence unfortunate as if it was a natural disaster. You see your life? Having a small business myself, I dread to think of such attacks and quite sympathise with mgt of Chisco Transport, assuming it is fixed that the arsonists are on a campiagn train. I am pro-opposition and would always try to view issues with reasonable objectivity. You may choose to ignore the debilitating effect the brand of politicking by the PDP has had on the polity but you would be jolted by the scale of destruction that may follow a perceived infraction of the electoral process post-election. Except we do what is right and fair, no one would e immune from the wildfire to be generated from this embers of this hatred we are stoking. Initially, it was thoght Nigerians valued lives a lot until incidences of suicide bombing came to live with us; we thought we had humanity till lives became worthless that the president could convey his condolence to the government and people of Frannce over the death of 12 citizens while keeping mute at scores of lives lost at home to terrorismon same day; we thought only BH used IEDs till it was used against the APC in Okrika; we thought only abokis are spontaneously violent until this unprovoked attack on a lawful business. Except the right thing is done, the signs are not looking good at all. |

What else can any sane human expect from APC and their supporters. A party where the presidential stand bearer does not know the full meaning of APC and INEC. Its really parthetic. |

A lie from the pit of hell apparently. This news item was posted by Sun newspaper on the 13th and nobody who lives in Lagos that I have spoken with has heard about it. Not even my Igbo colleagues. I drive on Eko bridge almost daily and am yet to notice any such thing. I don't even know of any Chisco HQ under Eko bridge. as far as I know Chisco is based at Fadeyi and I still did a u turn under the Fadeyi bridge yesterday without seeing anything. 25 buses burnt and no other newspaper carried it, no one I know in Lagos is aware of it, no tv station, not even PDP AIT carried it. I fear Sun newspaper is trying to set this country on fire and we are carelessly walking into their trap. The pictures might be from the under Ijora bridge fire that happened years ago which compelled the FGN to ban all transport companies from having operations under bridges as a result of the fire damage to the bridge. Bombs don't go off in Lagos without Lagosians noticing as it is still anomalous here. Those who love naija and our peace should learn to check this kind of story well before reacting before they are used by the devil. May God's will be done in naija and may He have mercy on us all. |
