Ngozi is the best finance minister Nigeria has ever had for the past 30 years.

Naaah nigggah! Make concrete statements, she was good under OBJ's thumb, but when she had free reign under GEJ she screwed us up into 1989.

How is he going to make governors declare assets apart from what is stipulated in the constitution?
Does he think he has power over the governors!

Learn to read and understand before commenting... He said he will make his ministers declare their assets not governors...

Declaration of assets is good but not effective in fighting corruption. Why? Because corrupt politicians will easily hide their loot with proxy IDs or companies.

Assets declaration is not an innovation to fight corruption. Corrupt people like Tinubu usually hide their loot through proxies... tell your daft general to be innovative so he can speak again and not rubbish.

Declaring assets does not mean jack sh1t. Ever heard of the cayman islands? There are a 1000 ways to funnel money out of the country. The way to reduce corruption is to have a constant monitoring body and making one or two people scape goats. In America there are people still on the most wanted list since 1970. I know what you are thinking. You are thinking why would the FBI still be looking for someone since 1970? The reason they are looking is the same reason why crime and corruption is relatively low; criminals know that if you commit a crime, no matter how long it takes or how far you run, the system will catch up with you. Recently they just apprehended a guy whose been on the run since 1980. Criminals are too comfortable committing crimes in Nigeria, because they know there is little or no chance of being caught. Take apprehension and adjudication seriously and crimes, both financial and otherwise, will reduce.

Being a retired Army General does not equate intelligence, especially in the Nigerian Army. Not saying he is not intelligent, but don't say because he is an Army General automatically make him Intelligent.
