Let us learn not to put all the blame at the doorstep of the north. The north is even more diverse than the south. What they have learnt to do very well is collaborating and mutually beneficial co-operation among themselves.

Why on earth is NC still in strong ties with core north, despite their obvious marginalisation? Reason it out.

UK constitution recognises referendum but yours does not.

First thing is how to build bridge to secure enough number at the national assembly, that will allow referendum to be inserted into our constitution.

Building bridges?

Last election, the SW built its bridge to the north.

Last election, the SW showed there is nothing like south of Nigeria.

People in old southeast region shall get whatever they want if they team up, but they must lose if they pursue different desires of the different groups in the region.

Groups started to emerge since 2000 when 12 northern Nigeria states started to adopt the use of sharia criminal codes that include stoning women to death for adultery, cutting the hands of petty thieves. That act is as good as secession from Nigeria.

Sharia criminal codes are not part of Nigeria's constitution, but sharia civil codes have been part of Nigeria's constitution.

GEJ and his South Eastern cabal demonstrated for 4 years to us and to all, that there is nothing like south of Nigeria, after building and unfruitful bridge with him and his region in 2011.

We only repaid back his deeds towards us, in good measures, shaking together and running over.

If building bridge with the North will ensure we achieve our objectives, so be it. The one we built with other southerners was unproductive for us anyway.

12 northern states indirectly conducted their own referendum to leave Nigeria beginning 2000 when they adopted use of unconstitutional sharia criminal laws. They have not renounced the adoption yet, though they have not been practicing much of it

Such adoption indirectly amounted to secession from Nigeria.

So why must SW and north grudge other groups who also do things that point to the groups' intention to secede from Nigeria?

Clown.

Now he's denying...

Fact is Nigeria is about to expire if things r not done right.

The things that caused the civil war r still happening n most importantly , Nigerians really hate dem selves now.

We have 6 Geopolitical zones n each already have a name they will answer wen the country splits

It expired in the year 2014 and they are just getting to know when their son, GEJ has bn kicked out..

Had it been GEJ won the election, it wld have taken them another 4 years to realize this.

Would've been same in the case of any other Nigerian ethnic group, that's the Nigeria we live in. Until we truly learn that the needs of many outweigh the needs of the few currently benefiting from this our skewed federalism, our problems may not have an end in sight. I pray Buhari can keep his word and make political offices less attractive, let's see those that are truly willing to "give" their lives to keep Nigeria one.

Its so annoying when these people make it look as if all what the Ijaw Nation is about is just crude oil. Every time these groups are in the news, its all borders around crude oil. South sudan fought for self determination, today that region is the center of global genocide. Sorry to say, but it seems to me those fighting for the ijaw cause are taking the same path as south sudan. The Ijaw Nation should please redifine itself and its struggle. The ijaw nation has been existing before the advent of oil and it would do very well with or without crude oil.

We can speak all the grammar we want, the truth remains that ALL of us are greedy. SNC wnt solve jack. Na amalgamation cause Ijaw and Itsekiri crisis? Is it the amalgamation that caused the Biafra war? Is the Tiv-Jukun brouhaha a result of amalgamation?
Let's look inwards and tell ourselves the truth, we harbour ill thoughts against our brother and until that stops Nigeria ain't seeing an end to this.

On the side tho, I think as Fulani is to the north, Ijaw is to the south. These peeps got many things in common.

The Amalgamation of 1914, stated that, after 100 years, any part of Nigeria, that want to separate, or secede can go, they only need to apply to United nation for that

So be it! Then secede. This fo0ls thinks it's all about oil. South Sudan is oil rich but one of the poorest countries on earth.
Interestingly, the bulk of the oil that's giving them shoulder pads is offshore, much more safer, as oil exploration coys are divesting from the onshore wells in that volatile region. And offshore access of any country is from its occupied land mass.
All the above story implies that: since the region is small, their offshore access is small and no major exploration company wants to explore in the onshore of the Niger Delta, it makes no economic sense. In less than 10 years if they ever secede, they will be on their knees pan hand.

True talk. Their greed and tribalism is atrocious to say the least.

The amalgamation treaty of 1914 created Nigeria but did not specify end-date for the treaty or for Nigeria to cease to exist as a country.

It is therefore foolish, irresponsible and treasonable for those oil-bunkering bigots, pipeline vandals and environmental polluters to question the existence of Nigeria.

In Russia, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait etc, federal governments have ownership of resources found on their territories. This is a contitutional provision in Nigeria as well. So, those Ijaws that occupy that area of Nigeria do so on lease and not freehold.

It is a despicable and reprehensible tribalism that the Ijaws want an Ijaw state carved out of any states they may be.

What a squalid little thought that any tribe split across two or more states should seek to be united in a state of their tribe? The world has advanced beyond being tied to one's mother's apron string.

Nigeria as country is not negotiable. The earlier those Ijaw mischief-makers get it into their heads, the sooner they will spare themselves unimaginable self-inflicted damnation.

my question is to you is that. ......?

If your husband determined to divorced you can you say no. ......?
