idprincess:The problem, as I stated earlier, is that most people who think the Biafran Dynasty is not developed are ignorant. List the names of major towns in Nigeria and I am sure there are more advanced cities in Biafra than in the Oduduwa enclave. Is it not ignorance to believe that someone who owns a skycrapper in Lagos has no house in his home town ? The Biafrans have a great Economic Module and its working. There are more Biafrans living better lives in Biafra than the ones hurstling in Lagos. People are so ignorant to the point of thinking all Biafrans live outside Biafra. Those of us who chose to live out and do business are ambassadors. That is the fact. 3 Likes 1 Share |

huptin: ^^^Just out of curiousity, what precipitated all these discussions between a Yoruba youth corper and all these many Cross Riverians on just how 'evil' the Biafran soldiers were to them during the war! Presumably you didn't just waltz up to gathered groups of locals and declare 'don't you guys agree the yeebos are a nasty lot'!? Did you also discuss other ethnicities with them? 6 Likes 1 Share |

BuddahMonk: Go and learn your history. The only people who benefitted from "abandoned property" were your "brothers" in Niger Delta. In the South West most Igbo property was handed back to the rightful owners after the war. |

I don't care if the Oduduwa enclave has less developed cities or not. Its not a competition. There are a lot of houses and mansions in the east owned by people who own skyscrapers in Lagos, the only difference is, they are empty houses. If people live better here in the east, why then are our young people running to Lagos and dropping their surnames. And those of you that you call Ambassadors, what exactly are your expected functions? Until you come and live here for at least 3months, you may just be speaking without essence. Billyonaire: |

idprincess:You are bitter about state of your purse and you are transferring that state of mind into a national psyche. Until you know that you problem is yours to solve then it will make no sense thinking that your personal problem should define our collective quest for self determination as a people. huptin: Go to the office of the Federal Inland Revenue and check the statistics of registered taxable business names and you will discover that the South East form the bulk of federal earnings. Do you agree that people of the south east are the major importers of goods and services into the country and in the process the highest contributors to federal earnings aside established conglomerates run by foreign concerns. Do you know that Igboland alone holds 50percent of Nigeria oil spread across the south east and south south. Do you know that the best of Nigeria crude lies in the hinterland of the Igbos and the wicked Nigeria state fragmented these people into several states in the lower delta and sold them propaganda just to wickedly keep them in perpetual disharmony. Do you know that IBOs have the best brains. Academically, scientifically and technologically they are well exposed. South east has two largest market of international repute in the west africa region. Do you believe the industries in Aba and Onitsha alone dwarfs what can be gotten in the whole of South West. For every lux soap manufactured in Agbara Ogun state by Unilevers Brothers(british conglomerate) 10 of its type is manufactured down here by respective industrialists. With all this indices, Tell me why the Biafran Republic won't stand if the struggle is real. 4 Likes |

IGBOSON2: I just naively told them that i see no difference between then and Ibos, they took serious offence and warned me never to call them Ibo again. They then went on to tell me a lot of terrible things about ibos.....men that was my first encounter with openly xenophobic human beings in my life. Funny enough i see a lot of them now in my office pandering to the ibos like they are one, once i remember the stories i heard from them about the ibos i shudder. |

Wow! I don't like this, but it is the hardest truth we can tell ourselves, you might not like the author or his approach but you can't take away anything from is said here. We will need to take this words and dissect them letter to words and to sentences because there in lies the way forward for igbos. Weather we like this or not, before we even shout Biafra, igbos must have built their base, develop the infrastructure their then we can move to the next level. I still wonder what the Governor's forum south east stands for when they cannot channel the way forward with thinking in this direction 1 Like |
