Can't be done.South Africa cannot hand over Bashir.
The repercussions would be felt all over.
Bashir committed war crimes, but it would be left for a subsequent Sudanese govt to repatriate him or not, not to a foreign govt he was allowed to set foot on.Its like kidnapping a foreign president,it's not done.

@SisPri

The problem with some Nigerians is theyr MISINFORMED and the people that were suppose to give them right information are the ones who are lying to them. The likes of their Linda Ikeji who lied and said that 10 Nigerians were killed during the xenophobic attacks earlier this year. The truth came out and we know that only 7 ppl died then, 4 SAns and 1 Ethiopian,Malawian,Zimbo and Mozambiquen.
Note: Their LINDA IKEJI IS 35 YRS OLD, BY S.A. STD SHES SUPPOSE TO BE MARRIED AND RAISING HER CHILDREN, SANE UP STAIRS AND RESPONSIBLE FOR HER WEBSITE. Looking at people who were born in 1980 in S.A I feel proud of them....theyr way better than LINDA IKEJI MENTALY.

Below you have explained it all...

First of all,

1) the news headline says SA DETAINS but if you read through you will read that a court injunction was given in the Highcourt but the action had not been actioned as yet.

2) The urgent action was brought forward by a Southern African Human Rights N.G.O not SA per se.

3) I understand that Nigeria would never understand the the Judicial independence as it might not be so in Nigeria.. The Government and Judiciary are 2 separate entities in SA. So the law will never turn an application away. And the Government will defend according to the law and its policies, diplomatic assurances etc.

4. Although this was given Al Bashir was not physically detained and pending governments response tomorrow in the Highcourt.

5. Everyone who isbright enough would know that SA would never detain a sitting president, if we were not oppose to that Mugabe would have been under the bus decades ago.

6. Al will go home and nothing will happen to him. The law is the mouth the Government is the hands. No ruling would be actioned without government collaboration.

Now, having read all these insults and garbage against SA, I have concluded that Nigerian are sickos! They speak on both sides of their mouths. You attack the ICC so badly but are the ones empowering it by using its services against each other and other countries. Even the Apartheid offenders were tried and sentenced by SAns and successfully so. Nigeria never practice what they preach always playing to the gallery.

Now lets see, how many cases has South Africa taken to the ICC domestic or otherwise? Zilch, Zero, Nada.

We repeat that an NGO wanted to detain pres Al Bashir not S.A. government...Most of us don't want S.A. to arrest Al Bashir even hes killed the South Sudanese people. I know S.A. has smart people like THABO MBEKI AND OTHERS who will never allow such move.

Note: This came at the time where S.A. is still angry at the west/FIFA SCANDAL. Where Britain,USA,Australia and others ANGLO-SAXON WORLD countries are trying to block their enemy Russia from hosting the 2018 world cup.

PALESTINE ACTIVIST/FREEDOM FIGHTER LEILA KHALED came to S.A. by force despite calls for her to be arrested by Jewish board and other NGOs with western links. These groups claimed she was a TERRORIST. SHE MADE SPEECHES AROUND S.A. AND LEFT, NOTHING HAPPENED TO HER. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin Al Bashir case is the same and am he sure will go back to Sudan without any arrest. That NGO was practicing their democratic right just like the Jewish board in the past.

Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted for war crimes, has left South Africa, pre-empting a court ruling over an international warrant for his arrest.

The Pretoria High Court was due to decide whether he should be handed over to the International Criminal Court which charged him with the crimes.

Mr Bashir was in Johannesburg for an African Union (AU) summit.

A news conference will be held in Khartoum upon his arrival.

On Sunday, a judge barred him from leaving until the arrest application had been considered.

Am glad to see that S.A HASN'T FOLLOWED ORDERS FROM THE WESTERN CONTROLLED AND WESTERN FUNDED ICC. Another Venezuelan activist in S.A said S.A. has never taken orders from the west and will show them that they dont take orders from anyone. cheesy grin grin grin shocked shocked shocked shocked

S.A. has strong ties with ARAB WORLD in Africa and mid east, will never follow western orders.

We are still waiting for BUSH AND BLAIR to be handed over to the Hague....AFRICA HAS NOTHING TO LEARN FROM THE WEST(Europe and US) and their cousins in Australasia, WE CANNOT BE LECTURED BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE A HISTORY OF RACISM, SLAVERY, GENOCIDE AND MANY OTHER WRONGS.

NGOs are attention seekers use the media to fool the public thinking people will buy their crap and they always fail just like at UCT. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin Young lions removing the symbol of white supremacy at UCT. Note: UCT was built using S.A MINERAL WEALTH, the non whites worked in mines and dug the gold that built UCT. Note: there was NO MACHINERY then, only man power. I feel happy when I see white students teaching other whites about history and how they got an advantage over non white students.

Here NGOs and defenders of white supremacy used the media to oopose the removal of rhodes. They lost, there was a DEBATE THEY WERE SHOWN HISTORICAL FACTS and they LOST. cheesy cheesy grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

The ICC is a WESTERN TOOL USED to target Africa and other developing world countries. THE FUNDERS OF THE ICC AND CONTROLLERS ARE WESTERNERS. The UN is another tool used for world order, where everyting must suit the WEST.

It would have been stupid for S.A. to hand over another African to the dogs. Thanks God we have THINK TANKS like Thabo Mbeki and others that will never happen. NOT IN OUR WATCH BABA!!!!NEVER!!!!!!

We (SAns and Nigerians) can bash each other during e-wars which I enjoy. But BLOOD is thicker than water, AFRICA is in our DNA. cheesy grin grin grin grin shocked shocked shocked shocked

Nigerians can be desparate, they try everything to show their hate for S.A. as Centritude said. On Linda Ikeji bloggs another Nigerian oke said he was in S.A. and enjoyed his stay in S.A. he even showed photos where he was showing off his SA friends. Yhooo it took few minutes for Nigerians to insult him and S.A. Their favourite quote came in Aids, crime and other kak. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin They claimed poverty, the guy showed them that S.A. middle class to upper class is black and young showing off his friends.

That what S.A. does to the kill them mentaly, everytime they hear a Nigerian saying nice things about S.A. They become cross.
