While I understand it might seem strange to receive an award at 10 am before the main event, an award is an award, just go and accept it. You can't compare your award to the ones they will present to the American mega stars in front of the American audience - who really don't want to sit down and watch an unknown Nigerian receive an inconsequential award. I suggest you make yourself a bigger African star and then they will be forced to honor you at the main show.
