Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 4:53pm On Dec 02, 2016 |
Dammysmart: That is your tie to Nigeria, its something that will persuade you to come back to Nigeria at the end of your visit, Getting a visiting visa or non-immigrant visa are in two parts. 1. The ability to finance your trip comfortably(Your sponsor has done this for you) 2. The ability to convince the embassy that you have something much better in Nigeria than living illegally in the UK. This is where your job, family, property or other investments come into play. 1 Like |

Chrisbam: Support the source of the money in her account with paper evidence, money sent through webpay will have a record, if the money was transferred into her account there should be a record for that as well |

I just came across this http:///8RV25079Se2 UK adopts new visa application process for Nigerians ON DECEMBER 3, 20168:27 AMIN NEWSCOMMENTS The UK Embassy in Nigeria has adopted a new visa application process, the British High Commission said yesterday, in a statement. The spokesperson of the commission, Joe Abuku, described the new process as a slight change in which “Visa staff now only need electronic versions of support documents.” The new process, which takes effect from December 5 for customers applying for a UK visa in Lagos, Victoria Island and Ikeja, would bring applicants benefits from digital improvements to the UK visa application process. “TLSContact (responsible for UK Visa Application Centres in Nigeria) will scan your supporting documents whilst you’re at the visa application centre, and then return your original documents to you,” the statement said. “They will then send these (electronic) documents to UKVI, with your passport and application form, and visa officers will consider your application in the usual way.” In order to avoid delays in the visa application centre, the Commission requested applicants to ensure they complied with requirement to provide all documents in A4 size, while any other documents smaller or larger than A4 should be photocopied onto A4 sized paper. While advising all customers to remove any clips or pins from documents before submitting their application, the Commission warned that any torn, crumpled or heavily creased documents, which is difficult to photocopy, should be photocopied onto A4 sized paper before submitted, as they can’t be scanned in this condition. Bosses my application for a visit visa was refused for this reason, Eco says he is not satisfied that my business is currently trading and the fact that i didn't state how the business will keep on running makes him doubt my business circumstances the more. Meanwhile I added business registration cert and tax certificate, Eco acknowledged all these documents but still refused me on the reason above. My business is a partnership and I added an endorsement letter from my partner stating clearly that he will be in charge of the business but it seems the Eco didn't see this per his reason for refusal I intend applying again and will add receipt books from feb to nov this year as well as photos of our business operations, are they enough? |

[quote author=castiello post=51646589] Your best shoot man add business account statement finish u go collect visa[/quote The business is not for me only it's a partnership and I'm not traveling with funds from the business so I added my personal account. I have a feeling if I add the business account and don't add supporting documents Eco will still refuse me. Besides I indicated that I receive dividend from the business which were all evident on my statement so I don't think adding business account will prove current trading of the business. Anyway need more opinions |

Upon research I have realized that applications that are refused are processed quicker than approved ones For example if u paid for standard visa processing time and u are refused ur application is processed and u receive ur passport with five to eight workings days unlike when ur application is approved. With myself and a friend as an example, I submitted a day after my friend but my passport was returned just after five working days and I was refused whiles my friends own took 12 working days and he got his visa even though he submitted a day b4 I did. Any other opinions? |

Good day house. I've been through this wonderful thread and I am I'm still kind of confused. My dilenma is this, my fiancé and I are planning to get married next month. He is in the UK on a tier 5 work visa. He has not worked for up to a year in the UK(so he won't have bank statement for up to a year) I'm supposed to join him next year. Which is advised? A dependent visa or a visitor's visa. Cc: justwise, frontpagelawyer and other knowledgeable gurus in the house please help!! |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 9:31pm On Dec 05, 2016 |

@justwise and others. I was denied a visa 11years ago due to insufficient fund and I didn't appeal. Pls do I have a chance to apply again and how do I go about it? Thanks. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Beautifulswan: 7:41am On Dec 06, 2016 |
justwise: Thank you. Please I seem to be totally lost on how to go about it. I've been to the UKVI website and I'm not really sure the requirements. What are our chances. As we will have only been married for about 2 months by the time I'm applying although we've been dating for almost 2 years with pictures and other communication prove. My bank statements is not very strong but he earns about £35000 annually. I want to stay with him. |
