I really wish this whole movement can be channeled into demanding for things like true federalism, good governance, accountability of public officials. Smh. cry

The honest truth is that without protests, the Nigerian government and certain parts of this nation will not accept true federalism..

On the contrary, while Northern Sudan was rated by the Mo ibrahim report (Africa's most prestigious and respect data NGO) as the fifth most popular investment destination, South Sudan can still not come to terms. Warring ethnic militias have continued to kill thousands. Northern Sudan now hosts up to 400,000 refugees from the south. It's ironic that the Sudanese President, omar Al-basheer wanted at the ICC for genocide is today the biggest saver of South Sudanese refugees.

Secession is only the beginning, not an end.
