When those men existed, it was an era when God walked with men and anyone who tried to destroy you has to be destroyed. its righteous judgement. we are currently in an era where God is not walking with men. its called the ' age of the gentiles ' meaning man is the one controlling things. and all the wars and killings done by man are not to defend themselves. they are offensive attacks for resources. all wars in this era are manufactured by men for selfish reasons and are not genuine cases of defending your territory, so God will keep all those who has favor in his eyes away from mans army. anyone who joins mans army is not of the LORD. can two walk together except they be agreed ?

A soldier will only make heaven when he/she kills only to protect his/her country and comrade, he/she should never kill because he/she is blood thirsty or wants to because he/she can do so. The blood of who he/she kills during war or trouble times is on the country he/she fight for not on his head. And also believe in Jesus christ as his personal lord n savior, work right in d sight of the creator.

Well, it is simple, if the soldier is God fearing and doesn't kill unjustly, cheat nor oppress his fellow brethren and obey Gods word, then he has no problem. My uncle is a military man and from his attitude he owes his life to God,respects him and obey his word and also goes to church whenever he is not on duty.
let us imagine america and UK are at war most def. Dy are going to use soldiers and at least 80% DX soldiers fighting with each other are christians (using catholic as an example) which means we av two catholics fighting each other at d same time saying dy are following God's word and dy are certain to make heaven. Buh how will God ressurect a christian bruh who killed his fellow bruh worshipping d same God and reading d same bible? When d bible itself says be ur brothers' keeper.. My argument is that God hate violence and those who partake in it or spill human blood for whatever reason. Back then when d isrealite fought dy fought with pagan worshippers who hated God and his people. Even the bible say war will be no more when his kingdom come. Which means God does not support any side at war and he hate war. And besides war is just one of the sign that we live in d last days so therefore as a christian who pray that war should not be anymore and also pray that all sort of men should be save and come to know God should he now join d war to fight and kill people all in d name of defending his nation?

Sin is sin. Whether killing, stealing, furnicating, etc. They are all sin b4 God. Christ has paid for our sins only if we can acknowledge our sins, avoid future occurency & sin no more.

when he/she calls His name, that soldier will be saved... moreover the bible supports military in quashing rebels who use the 'sword' to do evil romans 13:1-5

In my own Opinion God will judge them according to the law of the land, as long as the killing is not murder, because what bible says is "Thou shall do no murder"

Although there some killing out of wickedness God will judge that, but killing done under the service of the nation God will judge according to the law of the land

Soldiers are also professionals ala they're protectors of a nation which means they'll have to kill, attack and defend sometimes.

Killing on the battlefield ot fighting belligerents are part of their mandate, however murdering in cold blood, oppressing and all that. Surely not!!
