someone that continually complaining or argue over
this is seen by some people the only way to communicate however it doesn't always work.

The Vicious Cycle of Nagging
Nagging can become a vicious cycle. The more you nag, the more your mate avoids you or withdraws both emotionally and physically from you.

Why Nagging Doesn't Work
Even though your gripes may be valid, nagging makes the other party resentful.
Nagging makes also makes the other person involve defensive.
Nagging puts you in the parent role, and the other person in the child role. This isn't healthy for a marriage or relationship.
Nagging is disrespectful.
Nagging is often perceived as criticism, so the other person may tune out making what you are saying ineffective.
When the other person is being nagged, he/she probably feels attacked personally.
Nagging makes the other person feel inadequate.

Ways to Avoid Being a NagDon't blame.
Don't demean.
Don't attack.
Don't criticize.
Avoid making the other person feel stupid
Don't give in to your frustration

Instead of Nagging,

Try Positive Approaches
Share your feelings
Keep your statements brief so they don't turn into long lectures
[s]Avoid using the phrases, "You always, " and "You never, " [/s] this is the main key
Consider saying "would you" or "will you" rather than "could you" or "can you". There's a subtle difference in the way the request will be heard by your spouse or who ever is involve.
Set a good example so they can copy and have a feel that you really dont like whatever they are doing.
Acknowledge your different perspectives regardless and show your appreciation
See what happens if you stop nagging.
