you are alluding to the fact that these thugs are trained, well ...last i heard was that nigerian army are well ...infact supertrained and have the best infantry in africa...oya make una live up to una reputation. I feel very sorry for this country judging by the way people comment.Your Country's Army lost Soldiers to insurgents who have no respect for anybody,and all we can comment is to politicise the matter along APC/PDP.I feet ashamed to think that some of you guys also call urself Nigerian.The Soldiers were ambushed.... it was unexpected.This has nothing to do with PMB,it has a lot to do with those soldiers not being observant enough,it shows our armu has limited or no field intelligence,it also shows that adequate field feedbacks are lacking.For a hostile force of that magnitude to deploy in a marked combat zone without being spotted shows gross incompetence.The Army needs to recruit strategists or better still train its personnel on CIS

People forget this war! You win some, you lose some unfortunately. You see headlines of soldiers destroying terrorist camps and killing them but some folks here don't rejoice at news like that. They wait until there's bad news and jump all over it like the army hadn't been recording successes all this time. Lets even look at this "bad" news, the army were ambushed but they succeeded in killing some terrorists while the NA unfortunately suffered a loss. Lets be truthful and realistic when we want to rejoice/criticize bad news. Let's face it, the good news to bad regarding the Army and Boko Haram is like 9:1.

My heart is heavy as I write. I am in shock as I was write this script. I was just informed of his death moments ago by my younger sister.

Hakeem was a friend and a confidant.He was a star in a constellation and a man of integrity. He was an officer and a gentleman. He was a friend.

We both attended and graduated on the same day from Nawair Ud Deen Society Arabic School in October 1986. I will never forget his personal photograph which I still have till today. Back then he was one of reserved ones in class. He lost his father at a young age and that was tough for him but he trudged on to achieve much in life.

At his commissioning as an officer in 1998, I was one of those who praised his achievements then. On many occassions when we crossed paths, we shared our pains and gains as brothers.

Unfortunately this is the end of the journey for him.He died in the service of our dear country Nigeria.

May Allah have mercy on his soul, grant him peaceful rest in his grave and grant him Paradise. May Allah grant his entire family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Please what are you smoking? I'm actually asking a serious question. If you've ever seen "Men In Black" there's a device they use to wipe people's memory, you might need that to pull your argument off. Jonathan was better in what way?? Territories were being taken over everyday under Jonathan, soldiers were demoralized. Boko Haram was operating with impunity and you're here talking about better. Thank God for elections that made them wake up for six weeks. For the whole of GEJ's administration, they tried to pass off this Boko Haram issue as something that was meant to distract him, as his political enemies trying to sabotage him. GEJ didn't care for the war and that's the truth.

Fact of the matter is, like the economy, Buhari inherited a weak and demoralized army and its now they're trying to build up. Tearing down is always easier than building up, yet people expect everything to be bright and shiny after few months meanwhile we've had years of consistent tear downs and decay
