69. A member of the Senate or of the House Representatives may be recalled as such a member if -

(a) there is presented to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission a petition in that behalf signed by more than one-half of the persons registered to vote in that member's constituency alleging their loss of confidence in that member; and

(b) the petition is thereafter, in a referendum conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission within ninety days of the date of receipt of the petition, approved by a simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that member's constituency.

That is the headache of Nigerians and not Buhari's.

If we all fail to protest this madness, na we sabi.

Nigeria is meant to be tightening her loins, and our elected NA members are still largessing.

Criminality is collecting 100bn as transport allowance and going ahead to approve another 45bn for themselves for purchase of vehicles.

Buhari was warned about his apathy towards NA election of his principal officers. The world can now see how inconsiderate and self centred Saraki is.

What's the difference between the NA and the presidency that estimates trillions as 2016 budget with billions going into stuffs like changing of car tires, billions going into purchase of computers, same billions going into purchase of new BMW cars. I guess that's the meaning of "tightening ones belt" "cutting cost" and cost reduction. In all of this, who suffers? Huh?

The BMW story is a big fat lie.

PMB just told us how he refused the approval of 400m for purchase of cars for presidency.

It hurts when you're not involved. You would do worst than that if (selected)elected there. Ntorr.

Nigerians are the cause of their own problems always. If I voted somebody into an office and decide to go to sleep while he or she defecates all over my house, it is definitely my fault. In a situation where workers were not paid their December salaries as at 31st December and the NASS are talikng about their rights to buy exotic cars for themselves using scarce national resources, THOSE WHO VOTED THEM IN AND ARE NOW SILENT INSTEAD OF RECALLING THEM BACK HOME ARE THE REAL IDIOTS. Buhari cannot do everything alone. Nigerians, wake up from your STUPID SLUMBER BEFORE YOU GET BURNT BY THE FIRE SILENT RAGING IN YOUR HOUSE WHILE YOU SNORE LIKE IDIOTS.

Its been over 24 hours since this document was released to the public and government has not denied the break-down. While one can argue the President does not appear to know the budget break-down in detail it will be naive to see the President & APC as Saints.

You see the second half of the referendum is what makes it hard - if it is just signatures- it makes sense, other then that it becomes imppossible

do you really know what a dictatorship is? Pray he doesn't become a full time dictator.. then you'll come back and tell me who need's to be reasonable. Even in US of A Obama can not dictate to the judges or advice his security officials to disobey the court rulings (IN PUBLIC) for that matter

U have a point, but in d face of Nigeria's economic realities COMMON SENSE ought to prevail. In a situation where the country and its people face grevious hardships, yet 109 individuals and those at the lower house get to feel cool with themselves. It just doesn't add up.PMB has laid down a worthy example and one expects the Nass to follow suite. It is now u are talking about constitution.U need to examine urself, are u being reasonable
