Sammy888:Guy just shot up if u don't know anything.Coming down to the East stepping into ONITSHA, you will know the difference between East and other region except Lagos. Anambra is more urbanised than any other state including Lagos. ONITSHA is 1million times more industrialize and commercialized than this three cities u mentioned. I bet u that ONITSHA is far better than Asaba in all ramifications because I live in both towns, Enugu and Port Harcourt maybe neater than ONITSHA. 2 Likes |

To Igbo people industry= where biscuits, gums, snacks, juices, food are packaged. Why not heavy machineries, automobiles, pharmaceuticals&biologics, petrochemicals, construction materials and equipments, agrochemicals, military wares and devices, laboratory tools etc |

PentiumPro:Mr man, the truth is that most of you under rated aba because of poor road infrastructure and satanic leadership of t.a Orji. Aba has industries that produces goods that circulates over Nigeria. Geepee tank in MCC rd, Guinness Nigeria Plc in Osisioma, Clover paint in osisioma, tonimas lubricants in Aba umuahia rd, star line drugs and pharmaceuticals in ogbo Hill, fractas Lebanon furniture (a subsidiary of Zerock) in osisioma, Nigerian Breweries in Ogbo hills, 7up in ogbo hill, Maobison Pharmaceuticals in Osisioma, Pitason plastic and foils (food packaging foils), Benjas plastic, Altak Plastic chairs, PZ, valumbra noodles etc these are the few I can remember and they are not cottage industries. if I wanted to write cottage industries in aba, I don't have time to list them because the list is endless : planet vegetables oil and bakery, polema vegetable oil, Chemlap gums and rasins, Geometric, udeagbara vegetable oil and soap company, nifex vegetable oil, haeyon noodles, etc they are countless 1 Like |

eduj:That's the thing. People will just be downgrading Aba because of poor road infrastructure. Aba is one of the industrialized city in Nigeria |
Re: The Most Industrialised State In Nigeria by ImoRiver: 3:39pm On Oct 30, 2016 |
eduj: After Lagos is Aba in terms of industries in a single city but Ogun State should be ahead by now going by the instability of Niger Delta and the crave to site production facilities near a ready market of Lagos. It should be noted that Aba malt plant is the largest in the world and the GZI is also the largest in Africa.

Re: The Most Industrialised State In Nigeria by Nobody: 7:22pm On Oct 30, 2016 |
DaniDani:true. their are many companies in aba (like the Chinese owned neyer)-people don't know about especially in the obingwa and osisioma axis . the biggest Steel mill in west Africa is also being constructed near aba. once geometric switches on, many more would come. we don't list hotels, bottled water companies, bakeries or even shopping plazas as achievements .we don't even allude to shell flow stations in the state. people pass through enugu-ph road or aba-owerri to ikot ekpene road and assume the have seen half of aba which is unfair. I only wish the present governor would step up his game so that and would get the recognition it deserves. 1 Like |

As for those owerri aba,ph road aba and aba ikot ekpene roads those are federal roads and it seems fg has refused ikpeazu doing those saying they will do them so ikpeazu's hands seems to be tied there.http://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2016/10/ikpeazu-how-fashola-refused-to-grant-a-request-by-abia-and-akwa-ibom/ 1 Like |
