The best thing about this is that I am sure he will get justice for all of these here in the Uk. Even if he did something wrong, he was willing to cooperate but was still being beaten. Trust me these police men will be tried. I am too sure of that 1 Like |

The UK people handled the situation well - you can't start acting like a terrorists on the transport network and expect to get away with it. The should have just tasered his balls at the beginning - next time he won't try and 'fare dodge' which despite his pleas is a criminal offence. |

I didn't see any maltreatment there. All I saw was a fellow resisting arrest. |

seems he used London transport without paying, doesn't wanna pay the fine, and resisting arrest. British police and their professionalism sha. if it was the US or Nigeria, he could have been shot. Canadian police would have brought him down like a bag of potatoe. |

I agree it's not 'better' at home. But the thought of being manhandled in a country you don't lay claim to in anyway is appalling.

|

TheGoodJoe: It is obvious they were trying to arrest the guy, perhaps cos of train ticket. And it is normal procedure to be handcuffed when you are being arrested cos of the safety of the police. However, the fact that he acted belligerent shows he was resisting arrest, which is a next offence on its own. He is actually lucky it happened in London with folks around. If it had been anywhere else, they would've body slammed and fvcked him up. The man is an idiot. 1 Like |

Re: UK Officials Manhandle A Nigerian Today by ventura: 2:58pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
After all the drama he still got handcuffed. He was saying 'is it because of fare?' Even if the fare is £2.50 you have committed an offence by not paying. It's written all over the train station and inside the train itself 'you could be prosecuted and fine £80'. No Oyster card, no credit card, no debit card and no money on you to buy the ticket from the counter. mr man next time obey the officer, he will use his discretion to either let you go with a warning or issue you a fine which you can pay later. 1 Like |

xp17: Please STFU! The Brit Police l know used to be more polite than this? There must have been a "reason d'etre" that establishes why the Police were interested in him, of all people in that public place. When did it become a Crime to ask for "your offence" .....or why you are being handcuffed in PUBLIC? What stops them from saying "You jump rail or your Visa has expired", e.t.c? Common courtesy, except if a Policeman has "issues" in his mind already, should demand that if someone keeps asking you WHY, WHY, WHY are you hitting me"... you should just tell him there and then, a "summary" of what necessitated the arrest. The guy was NEVER resisting arrest as we could all hear him say "I am ready to follow you"...and he was moving in the same direction, that the Police were also moving! That is not how to "resist arrest", you "self-hating Nigg*"! Neither did he raise his hand against the Police or fight back, despite the Police hitting him repeatedly! People like you are a disgrace to humanity because you lack any form of "dignity". Just look at the thrash you typed? I bet you, if it was a fellow White Brits that was asking the same question, he would "politely"answer him ....and still arrest him. That is sensible policing........... which does not always apply to black dudes . Policing is not about flexing muscle with the civilians you are contracted to protect. If they err, you tell them and arrest them. its that simple! Even Nigeria Police will shotu at you and say "Mr. Man, l say park well, park well..... before l "soot" you! 3 Likes |

adaoshi: If this is TRUE, he deserved to be arrested ...and l am sure he would know why he is being arrested! That Man sdoes not sound like someoen who has this type of effrontery to say "Do you know me", to a Police officer.... otherwise he would have shown the same aggressiveness, when he was being mal-treated. But "IF" you wrote the above in malice, to malign him, God will visit you with a worse judgement, in due time. Note: I said "IF"........... so dont get worked up over nothing. 1 Like |

GeneralShepherd: Yes he is. When i get pulled over by the cops or if i am walking on the streets and a cop stops me for my ID, i don't ask why. I give him my ID first and then ask why later. In this case, i will get down, then ask why. That is how it's done everywhere that i have been. He is lucky, if it were the German politzei, they would have almost crippled him before he would have the nerve to ask why. Do what you are told first, then ask why later. They are an extension of the law. People need to understand. And we didn't see the beginning of the video, so we don't know how it all began. |
