My HP compaq business desktop keeps restarting non stop. I have tried last known working configuratn and booting through safe mode to see if i could use the system restore but be4 u knw it, it restarts. Kindly suggest possible solutns. I use windows XP. Thanks.

@25omega. Dat's d problem. In d device manager i saw image viewer. But where d webcam lens is seems to b blocked. And if i want to on d wireless d lapi will notify me 'wireless not enabled'.d lapi came with windows 7 ultimate 2gb ram. Plz help. I nid a pc guru.

well maybe it doesn't have a webcam
as far as your wifi is concerned, when you look at device manager do you see that a wireless device is part of your newtwork adaptors? if so then you will have to open "network and sharing center" then click on "change adaptor setting" by doing that you will see the different network adaptors in your computer.
right click on the wifi adaptor and click enable.

i tried answering your question and got banned. go to youtube and search for "fixboot" watch the video it should help you out.

well if you are talking about a laptop, it will be best to give it to a person who knows how to take one apart replace the part and put it back together. Dont attempt it by yourself

from my research zinox pc are a nigerian product though it seem that they aint that popular and the manufacturer lack customer support .ie having a web site for updates and drivers i advise you take your time to dig through google you will find bits of infor

however you will need to buy a new graphic card,

are you trying to share your internet connection?
you cannot create a wifi connection from your mtn fast linkn except you have the hynet wireless router
you can only create a personal area network using the bluetooth on your pc.
please kindly give your operating system for futher help.

has said you still need a router that is wireless and that router should have a usb port for your mtn fast link to go in then the wireless router will broadcast i.e being wireless

the best thing is to conduct them (manufucturer ) there isnt enough infor on net for their products and there own web site doesnt help much

i'm using hp compaq nc6220 and wheneva my battery level get to 40% d system will just go off without given any signal abt low battery. am planning to get a new and durable laptop battery dat can work for abt 4hours.pls some1 should help me on how to detect a gud battery and how much it will cost me.Thanx

hello sir
well on most laptops the graphic card is embedded into the motherboard or at least for those that i have opened.
however it is not advisable to change parts embedded into your motherboard, my advice would be just to change the motherboard
or better still buy a new one.

you can ask other tech's in the house for futher diagnosis

^^^^True, most laptops have the graphics card embedded on the motherboard. It's not cost effective changing the graphics card/motherboard, you're better off buying a new laptop with your desired specifications.

no normal pc can work for 4 hours on battery, may be military ones

your battery is loosing its strength to hold power for recommanded time and also batteries loose power fast when many things are running

the original batteries from manufacturer are always the best stay away from cheap chinese replacements

sounds to me like your battery has passed it's prime. The longer you use a laptop the more the battery will degrade. Meaning eventually the battery will stop holding charge. It will certainly work while plugged in but the battery wont hold any charge.

Buy a new battery from the computer manufacturer should solve the issue. You might buy a "market" battery but who knows the quality of the materials it's made with and you could be here in another 2 to 3 months with the same issue.

thanks for d response,buh d battery still stay long like 3hrs afta d lights as been switched off,that is if it eventually gets full,im thinking of shutting dowm my laptop and charge,instead of playing games on ou while charging.what do u think?
