So today, a fight broke out between Nigerians and Americans on social media, over Egusi soup.

It all started when Popular blog The Shade Room uploaded a photo of a plate of Egusi soup and Fufu and asked people to name the food.

Americans following the blog made banters and used derogatory terms to describe the food, comments which Nigerians on the page didn’t find funny. There were clapbacks, and it all has since degenerated into a messy feud.

The only irritating thing about that pix is the fake white nails.

I am a Nigerian but if you dont put the fufu and soup into different plates, i wont likely eat..

Unpresentable..

I luv egusi soup but this version looks disgusting with the fufu in the same bowl.

The food looks disgusting, the long nails didn't help.
