Six Months Later…

Over the past times, there have always been successful in their operations and today they plan another attack

“For a very long time, I have thought about us hitting the Central Bank of Nigeria in Abuja. I planned on us hitting it with powerful weapons but I was wrong because Ade here has help us discover a better way of hitting it” Zeus said

“Zeus, I do not doubt our abilities but this is CBN we’re talking about; it’s a place where no one has ever hit because that can’t be possible” Drummer said

“(Laughs) I said same until Ade let me in on some things” Zeus said

“So what did Ade discover?” God-Eye asked

“Ade over to you” Zeus said; Ade then stood up and walked to the screen and opened a layout and map of CBN

“Sometimes, you do not fight fire with fire; a better way of going into the central bank is through business”

“Business?”

“Yes Business, I have been working on this for a while now and I have everything ready.

The Central Bank of Nigeria saves the country’s money in two forms which are: Cash and Digits.

The cash is are kept in the cash vault and it would be impossible to access the vault because no one goes into the vault and the putting of money in it is done by computers. And if the vault is to be opened, we need three important personnel; the Governor, the Deputy, General Manager, they will have to voluntarily allow the computer scan the finger, their Iris, and mind but if it detects fear, the vault will not open, even if we successfully open it by slim chances, we can’t go in because the vault will automatically lock us in and fry us with lasers because we are unauthorized”

“Jesus, that’s no longer security but wickedness” Luke said and they laughed

“I agree” God-Eye said

“The only way to get money is through the digit vault; there are various trusted personnel permitted to put in money in the digit vault using a particular registered Tablet but there is only one person who can allow the removal of money and that person is the Governor himself. He would have to give a finger scan, voice pass and eye scan; after this a USB port will be opened for us to connect this Tablet” he said showing them a Tablet

“There is only one tablet in CBN which can be connected to that USB port; if any unauthorized tablet is connected, the digit vault shuts down for the next 24hours but not to worry I have found my way into their main system and registered my own tablet and encrypted their accessing codes on it”

“You’re the brain” Luke said

“You will connect this tablet and after you do, the computer might ask for an access code and I will give it to you, then the tablet will open two platforms labeled Give and Take; you will select Take after that the digit vault will open another platform for m for you to type in amount you want. The rest is up to you; our off shore account is encrypted to the tablet” Ade concluded

‘Waw, but first things first, how do we get in without guns” Luke asked; Zeus then continued

“Yeah that, actually the Governor of CBN is having a meeting with executives agents from IBRD (World bank) Mr. Roland Frost and Kelvin Bridge and the good thing about it is that he has never met them before. Now here’s the plan; we will all be in Abuja a day before the operation and when the day comes I and Luke will go to CBN; Hades and Drummer will set up a road block as State security service 500meters from the airport for Mr. Roland and Mr. Kelvin who will arrive Abuja by 7:30am; they will be with an escort who will take them to the bank; you will then tranquilize all of them at take them hostage until we are done; Evil Spirit and Machine Gun will hold the Governor’s family hostage just in case he tries to be stubborn, God-Eye will be our driver while Ade will be in the security room to shut down the cameras”

“I have prepared your ID cards as IBRD agents” Ade said to Zeus and Luke

“Also, I have prepared SSS uniforms and IDs for Hades and Drummer”

“This operation will be carried out on the 24th of the next month but we will be there on the 23th” Zeus said

“It’s a good thing we have the info now so we can prepare better; Luke from tomorrow I’ll put you through some training”…

Two weeks later…

As they prepared for the key operation ahead, Luke was undergoing, combat and shooting practice at another of Zeus’s home in a forest; Zeus was teaching him all he need to know in order to be a professional Taker. Luke had learnt a lot of things in the past one month and he was doing fine but the only thing he didn’t have to learn was acrobatics which he was already good at because as a child he used to practice stunts with a lot of friends on the field as children in Nigeria did. They would also compete amongst themselves, some these stunts are what we called: Baflit, Steady, Spiderman Baflit, Danger, Big boz. Etc. I know it sounds funny but that’s what we actually call it in Nigeria.

‘Luke I have a job for you” Zeus said after the practice

‘What’s the job?”

“I want you to take a man” Zeus said; they used the word ‘Take’ instead of ‘kill’

“Alright, what are his details”

“Everything you need to know is in here” Zeus said handing him a file and Luke collected it…

Luke had to take the file home and go through it.

Gen. Tanko Abdul Kareem is a major general who was trained in Zaria and in 1984 he was made a captain over a troop of soldiers who went to war. He’s 62 years old and is married to Mrs. Rashidat Kareem and have three children; Abdul Salam Kareem, Suleyat Kareem, Suleiman Kareem. He will be present at the Independence Celebration this Saturday; it would be the only chance to put him down.

Friday Night, 7:00am

Luke was the airport to catch a flight to Abuja and by 7:45am his plane was in the air and by 08:10pm he was in Abuja. He logged in an hotel and in his hotel room, he planned his attack wisely, he then opened a Lead briefcase to reveal a dismantled sniper gun which he assembled to check if anything was missing before he dismantled it again and put it in the case; as strange as it may sound he was so happy and couldn’t wait for tomorrow…

Eagle Square, Abuja…

10:30am

Luke arrives at eagle square with a Taxi, carrying a black school bag at his back, he was wearing a red sweater with a hood and a white trouser, he pays the driver off and then walks towards the entrance where he sees soldiers searching properties of individuals, he stopped because he knew they’d search the bag he was carrying. He looked around thinking of what to do when he saw a 3G network mast some distance from the square so he walked towards it; he saw people hanging around but he walked closer; there was a fence round the mast and a gate so he walked in without minding the people and no one was paying attention.

He walked to the back of a big generator, then opens his bag and brought out a binocular and then hanged it on his neck then backed his bag and went under the mast and started climbing the ladder within until he got to the top; although he was afraid of heights but summoned the courage to go that high.

He was having problems looking down but he then gained a balance at the top then took his binoculars to his eyes and looked into the square

“God damn, how am I gonna find one man amongst so many?” he thought to himself as he looked but he then decided to look in the position of the president so he turned to another part and looked where the president was and saw the president there, then he started searching for his target; there were so many people behind the president so he looked carefully and after 15mins of searching he found the target

“Gotcha” he said and hanged the binocular before opening his bag to bring out the sniper and started assembling it and after the assembling he then screws a silencer to its fire hole. He then cocked the gun and aimed for his target, he zoomed the sniper’s binocular and got a close view, it took him a little about 5mins to find the target again but finally did.

“Good” he said as he closed one eye and had his hand close to the trigger but he didn’t shoot just yet because everywhere was calm as the soldiers were displaying and after 15mins the soldiers started hitting their drums loudly. Now he aimed for his target; his hands were shaky but he was patient and he over came after 15secs.

He held his mark on the target’s head and as it became stable he fired at the target and the bullet hit the General in the eye and he jerked back on his seat; the bullet went through his eye and came out at the back of his head and entered somebody’s arm behind him. Luke cocked the gun again and aimed at him and gave him another shot in the heart. He had successfully killed his target and scattered the event as soldiers started moving in position to protect the president and others and moved them out the environment. Luke dismantled his sniper and put it in his bag quickly with his binocular and started climbing down the mast and before he got down everywhere was already chaotic as soldiers had started shooting to dispatch the people from the square. Luke got down the mast and went to the back of the generator and waited for 10secs before going out the gate; people were running aimlessly out the square, he then sees a man come in front of him and entered a power bike and started it but he immediately hit the man with his bag on the head and he fell off

“Sorry about that” he said and got on the bike and turned and drove off as people quickly gave way before they die…

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED…

He had all his moves planned out; as he got close to the hotel he parked 200meters from the hotel then came down from the bike, he deeped his hand in his pocket and brought out a handkerchief and cleaned the handles of the bike then walked away leaving the bike by the road side in front of a supermarket. He walked back to his hotel and parked his things and came out and took a cab to the airport and flew back to Lagos…

Monday 3rd of Oct…

Luke drove to Zeus’s home to make reports about his job; as Luke arrived at Zeus’s home and entered the house, the whole house was calm and no one present in the sitting room so he was about to go out through another door and check the back

“Luke?” Ade said coming down stairs

“Hey Einstein” Luke said

“You’re back” Ade said

“Yeah”

“When did you get back?”

“On Saturday” he said

“Saturday? Waw, so how did it go?” Ade asked

“Was easier than I thought”

“Yeah, of cause it’s easy, they are just bunch of old fools” Ade said

“Where’s Zeus?” Luke asked

“He travelled yesterday and will be back on Tuesday”

“Alright”

“He went to do a deal on arms with Hades in Brazil; he did even know you’d come back so quick cause he was expecting you to arrive on Monday”

“There was no need staying too long” Luke said

“Hey, I have something to show you” Ade said and ran up stairs; Ade and Luke had become real close friends and Ade always shared his latest inventions with Luke.

Luke then sat down on a sofa calmly; he was dressed in an immaculate black suit, he stood up and walked to the wine bar in the room and looked around it then picked up a bottle, he looked at the label and saw 90% alcoholic, he then poured some wine in a small glass cup then covered it and kept it back and as he was about to sip from it

“Who are you?” a voice said and he paused with the glass slightly touching his lower lip, then brought down his hand as he turned and saw Zeus’s beautiful sister coming down. At that very moment his heart skipped a beat on hearing her voice because he knew she was the one. This time he had a closer look at her, she was a very bright skinned girl (Coffee skin), she looked more like a beautiful Indian woman and she had that Arabic accent

“Hi” he said calmly in a weak tone like he was going to faint

“Hi is not the answer to my question” she said coming down in a blue gown

“Am a family friend” he said

“How come I have never met you?”

“Because am new” “New; family friends ain’t new” she repeated

“Am Luke” he said stretching his hand for a shake but she stared at his hand and then smiled

“Do you know what would happen if I shook you?” she asked

“You’d fall in love” he said and she smiled and then shook him

“Call me Jameel” she said

“Jameel? No” he said

“Why?”

“ I’d rather call you Rapunzel”

“Why would you call me that?”

“Because you are the princess who’s locked up in a castle and not allowed to meet your prince charming but today the curse is broken” he said and she smiled

“I see, so you’re the prince charming” she said smiling

“Be the judge, princess” he said and she smiled at him

“You’re as guilty as charged” she said

“No doubt and I’d prefer a life sentence” he said and she laughed and walked to the bar and poured some wine

“How did you meet my brother?” she asked

“Which one?” he asked

“I meant Zeus”

“I met him through Ade”

“So you’re part of the team” she said and he was silent

“What team?” he pretended

“(Chuckles) You think I don’t know? Do you think my brother hides anything from me? We are a family” she said

“That’s good” he said smiling

“Why did you join them?” she asked and his smile disappeared and he stared at her for about 5secs

“Because I found a family, a family that has embraced me like no other. This thing you call a ‘team’ is a family and this is a family business, we have scores to settle with the government” he said

“What score do you have with the government?” she asked

“Poverty” he said raising his voice a little “Unemployment”

“My mother was denied her pension but someone out there has added it to his collection of stolen wealth. She was denied her gratuity but somebody out there is feeding it to his family while ours starved. When my mother fell sick there was no money to treat her and she lay on the hospital bed dying while the nurses and doctor ignored her because there was no money and the government had not paid them for months.

Then I said to myself one day, when the time is right, I will visit this government one by one and Take their money and lives, I will visit all those who have diverted the pensions and gratuities of the poor to their family and I will Take their money and the their lives. That time is now” Luke was in the pain of the past as he said those words; Jameel felt pity for him, she then said to him

“My father was murdered by politicians because he tried to change the dirty game, because he had made promises that were genuine and they didn’t want him to change all that. Not only did they Take our father but they took all we had but they didn’t know what my brother was capable of, he had millions of dollars in his account and he vowed to Take everything from them”

“We are all in pain but we will achieve the set goal no matter what” Luke said

“Hey, what are you doing” Ade said coming down holding a pair of glasses

“If Zeus catches you with her” Ade said

“If Zeus catches you with her” Ade said

“O shut up” Jameel said

“Remember what he did to Raman” Ade said

“That was a long time ago and it was Raman’s fault, Zeus will not touch you, don’t mind him” Jameel said

“Anyway, this is a new invention” Ade said handing the glasses to Luke

“Invention? This is a normal nerd glasses”

“Put it on first” Ade said and Luke put it on

“Push the button on the left” Ade said and he did and immediately the glasses became dark and was an X-ray

“What the hell? How did you do this?” Luke was surprised; he could see the complete skeleton of Ade in front of me and that of Jameel

“Incredible” he said

“Let me see that” Jameel collected it from Luke and put it on

“What the hell Ade? How can you invent such creepy stuff” she said and took it off

“It ain’t creepy? It’s beautiful” Luke said

“hell no it’s not” she said

“Ade I must say, you are unique, I give you that”

“Yeah thanks” he replied

“I have never seen anyone so intelligent” Luke said

“There are only 25 persons like him in the world” Jameel said

“Yeah, only 25; one is a mathematician in London and am a Technological scientist here and as for the others I have no idea where they are” Ade explained

“God damn, this is superpower” Luke said

“When he was a 3, he taught himself how to count numbers and when he was 7 he was already learning secondary math but our dad thought it wasn’t right but he still secretly studied it because he enjoyed it. I learnt a lot from him” Jameel explained

“Good one Ade, you’re really lucky” Luke said

“I guess” Ade said; Luke looked at his watch

“I have to go” Luke said

“So quick” Jameel said and he smiled

“So you want me to stay, huh?” he said

“Yeah, maybe a little more”

“I wish I could but I just have some things to do”

“Don’t tell me you two have started hooking up” Ade said and Luke laughed

“Come on Ade, we are just being friends” he said

“Ok, if you say so”

“I’ll see you around” he said

“Have a good day” she replied and he left…

Wednesday, 10:13am

Luke comes again to Zeus’s house and as he arrives the compound he sees some men outside the house, painting it, he stood by his car and watched them for sometime before going in; he entered the house and saw Zeus sitting down and discussing with Hades

“Hey Luke” Zeus said

“Zeus”

“Good thing you’re here, have a seat” Zeus said and he sat

“Hey Bro” Hades said

“Hades” Luke said and they jammed their knuckles lightly

“Hades here will be travelling with the others to Ghana for a job” Zeus said to Luke

“alright”

“While you and I will leave for Abu Dhabi this Friday, we have to discuss something with someone”

“Alright no problem”

“Hades, I leave it all to you” Zeus said

“yes boss” Hades said and left

“Luke come with me” Zeus said getting up and Luke followed him and they both went outside the house for a walk round the compound

“am doing a repainting” Zeus said as they looked at the people painting

“I love the color” Luke said

“Sorry I wasn’t around when you came back from Abuja but Ade told me you did the job and News also confirmed him dead, Good job” Zeus said as they walked

“Thank you”

“I have made a transfer of 4million dollars to your off shore account, you can check your e-mail”

“Thank you sir” Luke said smiling

“Do you know why I asked you to kill General?” Zeus asked

“No”

“General Tanko was one of the closest to my father and part of the plot that killed him after they discovered my father had genuine plans for the country and they knew it wouldn’t favor them heavily if he had won the election for presidency. You must have heard of the assassination of Dr. Jason Heineken “

“Yeah, I did, years ago”

“That was my father; I promised Tanko that I would Take back everything he had stolen from us as well as his life” he explained and Luke was silent

“On Friday, we leave for Abu Dhabi, so we can get information on how to deal with one of our ex-presidents who have failed this nation and is part of the reason why this country is devaluating today”

Abu Dhabi, Yas Island. 10:00pm

This is the first time Luke is coming out to the beautiful part of the world; as they stepped out the airport, a red Ferrari stops in front of them and a man comes out

“Welcome sir” he said in Arabic accent

“Thank you Saheed” Zeus said as the man collected their bags and put it in the boot

“Let’s go” Zeus said as he entered the car; Luke was a little surprised; Saheed walked into the airport building, Luke then entered the other seat

‘First time, huh?” Zeus said

“Never dreamt of this” Luke said

“It’s real now” Zeus said and started the car and sped off

“Wow!!! Come on, slow down you wanna kill us” Luke said as he was frightened by the speed as he put his right hand firmly on the dash board even though he was on seat belt

“(Laughs) Relax, it’s not my first time, I’ve been doing this since I became 18” Zeus said as he drove past beautiful buildings; the street lights were amazing, the trees were glowing, buildings shining with multi colored lights.

Luke was attracted to every beautiful thing he saw and suddenly Zeus slowed down

“Look” Zeus said pointing to his left

“Waw, what’s that place?”

“Ferrari world” Zeus said

“Ferrari world? That means they manufacture Ferraris there?” he asked

“No, it’s an amusement park, a fun place where children and adults go for fun, for roller coaster rides and all that, it’s a tourist attraction”

‘God damn, it’s beautiful”

“You should see it from above”

“The building seems endless” Luke said

“It covers 86,000 square meters and it is the leading tourist attraction in the middle East”

“Waw”

“Have you heard of Formula Ross ?” Zeus asked

“No? What’s that?”

“The world’s fastest roller coaster”

“Hmmm, right”

“It’s here in the Ferrari world” Zeus said

Luke was happy with his life right now because he felt like he was on top of the earth . Zeus stopped an a small bridge then pointed east

“Look at those buildings over there” Zeus pointed

“You mean the skyscrapers” Luke said

“Yes, it’s the Etihad Tower and is owned by a friend of mine. He’s part of the reason why we’re here”

“Those buildings were used in Fast and Furious 7” Luke said

“Exactly”

“They must have cost a fortune”

“It cost 2.5 billion Dirham, Arab money” Zeus said

‘Yeah breath taking”

“Tower 1 is a hotel and residential, Tower 2 is residential, Tower 3 is offices, Tower 4 is residential and Tower 5 is also residential. Sheikh Imran Aziz owns the towers and he lives in one of them; tomorrow we’ll go see him” Zeus said and drove off…

They arrived in front of a gate that automatically opened and they drove in; flowers and trees covered the place and you couldn’t see any building but after a left turn and a right they arrived in front of a magnificent semi-glass house; they both stepped out the car

“this is beautiful” Luke said; by his left was a swimming pool with lights at the bottom of the water

“This is my house in Abu Dhabi and you’re the second person am bringing here after Imran Aziz” Zeus said as they walked to the glass door. Zeus touched the glass door with his five fingers and a green light scanned his fingers and the door opened

“(Chuckles) You’ve got to be kidding me, so stuffs like this are real” Luke said

“It’s agood thing am educating you then” Zeus said and Luke laughed

“I mean, I thought they were all fiction like Mission Impossible and other fiction movies. This is good” Luke said as they entered inside

“The rooms are that way” Zeus said pointing “The last room on the left is mine”

“Yes boss” Luke said

“Do you like cars” Zeus asked

“I love them like myself” Luke said

“Good then come with me, let me see how well you love them” they both went through another door leading to another part of the house and went down a set of stairs and then Zeus walked to a wall and put his right thumb in a small device on the wall and the wall opened and revealed something amazing; Luke’s eyes widened in disbelief as his mouth was opened

“Jesus Christ! What the Bleep?” he quickly moved closer to the car and touched the bonnet like he just saw Jesus

“O my God” he exclaimed

“(Chuckles) Do you know the car?” Zeus asked smiling

“Do I know this car? Are you asking my that? This is a beast!! My God” Luke was excited

“A fast car” Zeus said

“Not just a fast car” he said as he walked round it “ This is Lykan Hyper Sport, the third most expensive car after Bughatti Veneno. It cost nothing less than 3.4million US dollars and runs on 3.7L Twin-Turbo Flat-Six Engine and is the first ever fast car to be manufactured in the middle east; it’s also known that it can accelerate to 62mph in 2.8secs. I love this car” Luke just lecture Zeus on his own car and he was amazed

“Waw, amazing; alright Professor Fast cars, you win” Zeus said

“This car is amazing, I never dreamt of seeing fast cars talk less of this monster; this car beat the world’s fastest car Bughatti Vernon in price”

“You seem to own the car better than myself” Zeus said

“(Chuckles) No. come on”

“You bought this car?” Luke asked

“Yap, 3.4million dollars as you said, no more no less” Zeus said and walked to the door and opened it by touching the glass

“Ever since I bought it, I’ve never been in it, so why don’t you be the first” Zeus said

“You mean, I should get in the car” Luke was surprised

“Come on, get your ass over here” Zeus said and Luke entered the car and sat comfortably as he grabbed the wheels

“Press that button over there” Zeus said pointing to the steering wheel and Luke pressed a button beside the wheel and a small screen was revealed

“The start password is 1991” Zeus said and Luke pressed the number and the car started, he then stepped on the clutch and the engines revived; Luke smiled as he took a deep breath

“The sound of the beast. Isn’t she amazing” Luke said and stepped on the clutch to and fro and it kept raising the roar of the car; Zeus smiled

“Come on let’s go, we’ve got business tomorrow” Zeus said and they left…

11:00am Next day

Luke was up first and had already cleaned himself up, he took a walk around the house before coming back to the main house; Zeus was up

“You’re up early” Zeus said

“Early? It’s 11am”

“Yeah right” Zeus looked at him and said “What are you wearing?” Zeus asked

“Clothes of cause” he replied

“(Chuckles) Come here, I have something for you” Zeus said going inside and Luke followed him

By 11:40, they left the house and headed for Etihad towers; a nice Ferrari ride is something Nigerians don’t get every day (no offence to any) but for Luke, it’s gonna be an exception

“I never knew being in a fast car could freak one out” Luke said as Zeus drove fast

“Yeah for newbie” he replied

“You seem good with cars” Luke said

“Many years ago I used to ride fast cars with Omran Aziz, we’d hit his father race track in Dubai; we grew up together here in Abu Dhabi and we got arrested multiple times”

“I don’t doubt” Luke said

“Were you a Muslim?” Luke asked

“Am a Christian” Zeus said

“Father was a Christian but had the attractive charisma to pull everyone to himself, it was a gift but the enemies wasted him. If his friend Raj-dul bin Oman bin Omran the father of Omran Aziz was present in the country they couldn’t have killed him but because my father was stubborn with ambition for the nation he lost his life”

“Sorry, I went too far” Zeus said

“No I understand” Luke said

They arrived at the tower, Zeus parked just outside tower5

“He lives in towere5” Zeus said as they stepped out of the car in white jalamia and Arab head scarf

“Why do I feel like a woman right now?” Luke said

“(Chuckles) you get used to it”

People were moving in and around the building and there were guards outside directing people to the party. As they entered the building one of the senior guards recognized Zeus

“Lord Zeus!!” he said walking to him

“Ahmed” Zeus said

“Its been a long time sir, you just ran away” he said

“(Laughs) Business Ahmed Business” he said tapping him on the shoulder

“Prince Aziz will be happy to see you” he said

“I pray so” Zeus said

“Is he with you?” Ahmed asked Zeus while referring to Luke

“Yes, he’s a brother” Zeus said

“Haa, you’re welcome sir” Ahmed said and shook him

“Thank you”

“Please come with me” Ahmed said as they walked to the elevator

“The prince is having a party?” Zeus said

“O yes sir, just like always”

“(Chuckles) Just like always” Zeus said in a low tone

After some minutes they arrived at the party floor; the elevator opened and Ahmed led them into a passage and walked to a big door and opened it and revealed a beautiful hall full of people of different races and colors. At the right far corner was Prince Aziz talking with some men; the party was hot as the music was playing and people dancing and moving about. The roof was gold with beautiful chandeliers hanging downwards. There was a fast car in the center of the hall a red SSC Ultimate Aero (Former World’s fastest car) two beautiful strip girls in red bikini were on top of the car dancing as some people watched them and at the right end corner was another fast car an orange McLaren F1 LM (Fifth fastest car in the world) with girls on it too. Luke spotted a girl dressed in a gold brown gown that was very beautiful and looked exactly like Zeus’s sister Jameel more like a twin, he was surprised so he stared at her, the lady turned and saw him. She then smiled and waved at him and he waved back smiling. He was carried away as he smiled and waved back “Luke” Zeus called him back “What are you looking at?” Zeus asked
“Nothing, just a pretty girl” he said as he turned and didn’t see her again
“Arab women are like diamonds, irresistible. Come on let’s go” Zeus said Prince Aziz spotted Zeus and was surprised, he saw Zeus walking towards him
“Haaaa Zeus” the Prince said with happiness as he opened his hands to embrace Zeus
“As- salaam- alaykum, Aziz” Zeus said as they hugged each other tightly; Aziz held Zeus’s face with both hands and kissed his left cheek
“Alaykum- salaam, Zeus” Aziz was excited “So happy to see you” Zeus said
“Allah- wakubah; Lam naraka mundhu muddah” (God is great; long time no see)
“Na’am, Lam naraka” Zeus replied; Aziz then looked at Luke and then said
“Man l-howwa?” (Who is he?)
“Hada l- Luke” Zeus said touching him (This is Luke)
“Luke” Aziz said walking to Luke
“Ahlan wa sahlan” Aziz and shook Luke but Luke was lost and Zeus understood the look on his face (Welcome)
“Hal tatakallamu alloghah Alarabiah?” Aziz asked Luke but he didn’t understand, Zeus smiled “Sorry I don’t speak your language” Luke said
“La’a Aziz, howwa Nigerian, howwa alloghah Alenjleziah” Zeus said
(No Aziz, he’s Nigerian, he speaks English)
“Alright” Aziz said
“Ta’ala Zeus” Aziz said walking to a platform (Come with me)
“Hey everybody attention please” Aziz said as he stood on the platform with Zeus and the music stopped and everyone turned to him “This is my best friend, the one I talked about, the one who was scared that he had so much money so he ran away” Aziz said and they all laughed “But he’s back now to take what belongs to him” Aziz said and they applauded “yes thank you, continue the party” Aziz said going down with Zeus as they played the music “You haven’t changed Aziz” Zeus said “You too, Zeus” he replied “This place is noisy let’s go to my apartment” Aziz said and they walked out…

“Eshtaqto elaika katheera, kaifa haloka?” Aziz said
(I missed you so much, how are you?)
“Aadee” Zeus replied (I’m okay)
“Please sit” Aziz said and they sat down
“Beddak shai aw ahwe aw aaseer aw akel” Aziz asked
(Do you want tea or coffee or juice or food)
“Bidna ahwe aswad, la halib, sokkar showayya” Zeus replied and Aziz signaled one of his men who left to bring it
“Where have you been Zeus?” Aziz asked
“Nigeria” he replied
“Limaadhaa?” Aziz said
“Aziz, inta Limaadhaa a’rf” Zeus replied
(Aziz, you know why)
“Ana afham” Aziz said
(I understand)
“Good, so I need your help” Zeus said
‘You are not a stranger so I’d do anything” Aziz said
“There’s a man who ran away from Nigeria to Abu Dhabi, thinking that I can’t find him here; he has information on my father’s murder so I came to you to help me find him”
“No problem” Aziz said and called one of his men and whispered something to his ear
“What’s his name?” Aziz asked
“Dr. Hassan Raji” Zeus said and Aziz signaled his one of his men who went out and then another came with the coffee
“You didn’t ask of Haliya” Aziz said and that name sent a cold chill down Zeus’s back
“Haliya” he said in a low tone and smiled
“Where is she?” he asked
“She’s married” Aziz said
“What?” Zeus said loudly as he jerked forward from his sit
“Yes, she is married to an European and they live in Dubai” Aziz explained; Zeus was totally broken
“Married” he said and was almost in tears. Haliya is a very beautiful Arab woman; the only woman Zeus loves and he was the only man she loved but now it’s different. On hearing that she is married was like putting a knife through his heart. Well, maybe he deserved it because he had abandoned her almost 5years without a word. He felt really bad on hearing this; that the only woman for him was in another man’s arms
“(Laughs) Look at your face, you’re almost crying” Aziz said Laughing at him
“Am joking; I just wanted to see your heart” Aziz said laughing; even Luke was laughing
“You mean she’s not married?” he asked
“Of cause not, she waits for you” Aziz said and he was relieved
“You got me there Aziz; crazy Aziz” Zeus said and they laughed
“(Laughs) Am sorry man but it looks like she’s still your weak point”
“Thank God” Zeus said and relaxed and Luke and Aziz laughed
“You know, what she feels is something I don’t understand” Aziz said
“Where’s she?” Zeus asked “In her home in Yas Island” Aziz said and Zeus stood up and dashed out the house and Luke quickly followed him, Aziz couldn’t help but laugh…

They both entered the car and moved off heading to see Haliya; and in 15mins he was at her home. He stopped beside a bar gate, he didn’t come out yet. He rested his head on the wheels and took a deep breath and then exhaled through his mouth loudly “I know what you’re thinking but don’t worry am sure she’ll be happy to see you” Luke said “I hope so too, are you coming?” “No, I’ll wait here for you” Luke said and Zeus went out the car and entered the gate and as he approached the building Haliya’s junior sister Arshina came out the house and saw Zeus; she was about to scream in excitement but Zeus signaled her to be quiet; she ran to him and hugged him tightly “Kaifa haloka” Zeus asked “Am fine” she replied in English “Where’s Haliya?” he asked “She’s in the kitchen” she said smiling as they both walked inside They walked to the kitchen and saw her arranging some things in the cabinet “Haliya” Zeus called out and she paused on hearing that voice; she recognized that voice anywhere and anytime. She turned to be sure and saw Zeus standing at the Kitchen door with her sister. She couldn’t believe it as her mouth was opened; her sister quickly excused them. Zeus walked to her and stood in front of her and they both stared at each other in the eyes, Zeus was smiling but she was still in surprise “Should I be happy to see you” she finally said in a straight face “Motashare fatun bema refatek” Zeus said (It’s nice to see you again) “O shut up” she said and walked away “Haliya” he followed her “Don’t you call my name again” she said “Eshtaqto elaika katheera, Haliya” Zeus said (I missed you so much Haliya) “Am serious here, don’t speak Arabic to me Zeus, you left me for 5years; who the hell does that to a woman they love” “I am sorry” “Sorry? Is that all you can say? Well am sorry too because am seeing someone else” she lied “But Aziz said you were waiting for me” “Waiting for you? Aziz is my brother; he doesn’t know everything about me” “Haliya don’t’ say that” he said but she turned away “It’s too late” she said “No way it can’t be too late” he said in a sad face “I am here to marry you” he said; she was hit with surprise there; she turned to face him “Did you mean that?” she said in a low tone “With all my heart” “Show me the ring and I’ll believe you” she said but he had none “It’s not here but am here for you” he said “Argh” she said angrily as she held her head with both hands and then looked at him angrily “Yeah, just say I know it’s in there, let it out” Zeus said “I hate you” she said “I love you” he replied “The only thing that’s going to make me forgive you now is if I punch your face” “Please do whatever it takes that will make me get you back” he said; she walked close to him and looked at him with an angry face for 5secs then smiled and hugged him tightly “I have missed you so much” she said holding him tightly with her eyes closed “I love you” he said “I love you too but why did you leave me all these while” she said as they separated “I didn’t leave you; if I did I wouldn’t come back here” “I want to come to Nigeria with you” she said “Haliya I don’t… that’s how I will know you are true to your words” she interrupted “Okay my love, I’ll take you” he said and just then her phone rang “Hello” “Yes he’s here” “Ok” that was all she said and hanged up “It’s Aziz, he said you should come” she said “Ok but I will be back, ok?” he said and she nodded and he kissed her lips softly before leaving “I love you” she said as he left…

Zeus got back to the car with Luke waiting “Everything’s good, huh?” Luke asked “Better than good; we’re getting married” he said and Luke laughed “Wow, seriously?” he was surprised “Yeah” he said and started the car and drove off… He went back to Aziz’s house and saw Aziz waiting outside with two of his men, he then parked the car and walked to Aziz “Good news and bad news” Aziz said “Good news first” Zeus said “We have a man called Dr, Hassan Raji” Aziz said “Bad news” “He says he doesn’t know you” Aziz said “I see… where is he?” Zeus asked “We have him in a house in Khalifa city” “Waw, that’s quick” “Don’t forget Zeus, this is our city, am everywhere” Aziz said “I haven’t forgotten” Zeus said smiling “Let’s go to him” Aziz said “Alright” “Let’s go in my car” Aziz said and they entered a Black Rolls Royce Phantom; Luke, Aziz, and Zeus sat at the rear and two men in the front…

Khalifa City, 2:37pm… Aziz takes them to a quiet street; all the houses on the street were the same in structures and designs but different colors; it was more like an estate as each house had a bar gate and flower fencing about 6ft high, there are three columns of trees arranged horizontally hereby creating two roads and pedestrian lane on each side of the road. The tall palm fruitless trees covered the sky and protected the ground from the hot sun light. You couldn’t see into the compounds except through the bar gate. Their car drove down the street and stopped at a house labeled R2 as this was the numbering pattern of the houses; the first two houses facing each other were numbered A1 and A2 followed by B1 and B2 and so on… They got to the house and stepped out the car and the two men from the front were the first to go in before Aziz and others; everywhere was calm and peaceful, not even the wind made a move at any object. The house was made of red bricks and a white metal door. One of Aziz men knocked on the door and someone from inside opened the door for them and they walked in “Anya-l-howwa?” Aziz asked and the man walked into the sitting room and they followed and he led them into a room where a man was tied to a chair and blindfolded with a blue ribbon. Two of Aziz men dressed in suit were standing behind the man and another on his left; there was a table in front of him where Aziz, Zeus and Luke were standing “Remove the blindfold” Zeus said and one of the men removed it The hostage was a black man in a white shirt with blue tie which was loosened a little bit and his shirt was dirty and he looked rough; he opened his eyes and looked around the room and the looked at the faces of the men in front of him “What is going on here?” he said; Zeus smiled “He said he doesn’t know you” Aziz said “Dr. Hassan Raji” Zeus said smiling “Who are you? Why did you bring me here?” he asked “Who am I? You don’t know me again?” Zeus said “I don’t know you” he said confidently ‘Is this not the Ex-minister of information?” Luke said “Of cause he is and he’s a good informant” “I want you to tell me all that you know about my father’s murder” Zeus said “I don’t know what you are tal… araagh” he didn’t finish the statement before Zeus landed a punch on his left eye and he shouted in pain “Will you tell me now” “I don’t know you” he said “Zeus allow me” Aziz said “Listen Mr. Hassan, don’t make this harder for yourself, tell us what we want” Aziz said “I don’t know what you’re all talking about” he said; Aziz called one of his men close “Get a knife” he said and the man left and came back with a knife “I won’t ask you again or I am going to cut your thumb into slices like a bread” Aziz said as he put the knife at the tip of his finger “Ok I’ll tell you” he said “Good” “General Afeez Usman is the man you need to get for your father’s death, he is the mafia behind everything. He only gave me orders to kill your father, your father was not assassinated as they told the world; he was murdered in the meeting with the executives present. I was the one who carried out the killing on the orders of the General, he asked me to stab your father in the heart. Everything that happened was not hidden because your father saw the faces of his killers” “I see, so you are the obedient servant. Are you a soldier?” Zeus asked “No” “Then why did you carry out orders from the General?” “He would have killed me” “So what do you think I would do to you” “Wait, there is one more thing” he said “Speak up” There was a complication after the killing” ‘What complication?” “In the hotel where we held the meeting, there was someone who recorded the killing secretly without our awareness but it was one of the General’s comrades who discovered a lady with a video camera” “And did you kill her?” Zeus asked “She ran away and they couldn’t get her but she is still being hunted; we managed to track down her address but she was alert and knew she was under attack so she escaped” “So there’s evidence against them, what’s her name?” Luke said “Sarah Oscar” “Good but how can we get to General Afeez” Zeus asked “I don’t know, am not a very close associate to him” “Then you are of no use to me again” “please don’t kill me” he begged “Did my father beg?” Zeus asked but he was silent “Answer me!!” Zeus yelled “No he didn’t” “then what were his last words” “He said we would be haunted” “Yes, he’s right and am the hunter” Zeus said “Tell me how to find General Afeez and I might spare your life” “I don’t know but there is someone who works closely with him” “Who” “Franklin Orji, he works at the Union bank head quarters in the Island in Lagos” “Good” Zeus said as he turned away “We can’t spare him” Luke said “Yes we can’t” Aziz agreed “What do we do with him?” Zeus asked “Let me deal with him” Aziz said and Zeus nodded in agreement “Feed him to the tiger” Aziz said and his men took the man away “No! Please I beg you” he pleaded but it fell on deaf ears… They walked out the house and got in the car and drove off “How did go with my sister?” Aziz asked ‘We’re getting married” he said and Aziz laughed with surprise ‘Nice one, very good” “We’ll do a quick wedding then we’ll fly to Nigeria” “That’s okay”…

NIGERIA One Week Later… Zeus was arriving today and had informed the others of his arrival and had asked them to wait at home, he had a surprise for them. By 12:17pm, a black limousine entered the compound and stopped at the front of the house; Ade was outside in front when they came in “They are here” he said loudly to the others inside; the Limo door opened and Zeus came out with Haliya who was dressed in a bright green gown “Haliya!” Ade was surprised as he walked to her and hugged her tightly “Lam naraka mundhu muddah, kaifa haloki” Ade asked (Long time no see, how are you) “Jayed” she replied “Ayna-l-Jameel” she asked and just then Jameel came out with Hades; Jameel was surprised to see Haliya and she screamed in excitement and ran to her and hugged her tightly “Lam naraka mundhu muddah, Haliya” she said smiling “You all ran away from UAE” Haliya said “No, it’s all Zeus’s idea” Jameel said pointing to Zeus with a sad face “We’re married” Zeus said “What?!” Jameel and Ade said loudly “Yes” “Am so happy” Jameel said and hugged Zeus and Haliya and so did Ade; Luke and Hades just stood watching the family reunion “But why get married without inviting me” Jameel said punching Zeus lightly on the chest “A, sorry dear, but the celebration is still on” Zeus said “Excellent” she said “Welcome man” Hades said to Zeus “Hey Hades, how you doing?” Zeus replied and hugged Hades “Am good” ‘Haliya meet Hades, my friend or should I say a brother” “Nice to meet you” Haliya said in her feminine Arabic voice “Same here” he said and shook her “Hey Luke, welcome” Ade said and hugged him “Thanks Man” Luke replied “Hey smart guy” Hade said and hugged Luke “Good to see you again man” Hades said “Yeah same here” “Where are the others?” Zeus asked “They’ll join us later” Hades said “Alright, let’s go in and celebrate” Zeus said…

One Week Later… Another meeting was fixed a week after they arrived in Nigeria “And we were able to meet up with him in his office and he told us that the meeting was a plan to assassinate Dr. Jason” Hades explained “Did you kill him? Zeus asked “Yes we did but we also had him transfer all his money before we killed him” ‘Very good; I and Luke also caught up with Dr. Hassan Raji with the help of a friend” “Did you get anything from him” “A lot” Luke said “Yes, he told us about General Afeez Usman” “And who’s that?” God-eye asked “I don’t know but he said the General was the master planner, the back bone of everything” “Do you have his location?” Machine asked “Yes, he talked about one Franklin Orji who works in Union bank and is a close associate to the General” “Then we’ll have Franklin talking soon” Hades said “Yes but one more thing” Zeus said “There was a video of the killing” Zeus said “What? A video” God-eye asked with surprise; they were all surprised “Where’s this video?” Drummer asked “With a girl” Luke said “A girl?” Hades repeated “Come on Luke, show some respect, it’s a lady not a girl” Zeus said smiling “Yeah Lady Sarah Oscar” Luke said “Where can we find her?” Drummer asked “Leave that to me” Ade said “I’ll find her for you” “Thanks Einstein” Zeus said “Let’s deal with Franklin First” Luke said “Yeah right” Zeus said “Hades, drummer and God-eye, you are up for this, I want you to track down Franklin and bring him straight up to me” “Done” Hades said “It should be done this week, please” Zeus said “Piece of cake” God-eye said “Evil Spirit, I have something for you; I want you to Take down a man Called Joseph Yusuf, the managing director of Zack steel industries, he lives in Lekki and is always early” Zeus said and handed a file with Joseph’s profile in it and Evil spirit collected it and nodded in agreement “Machine gun and I will be going to Edo state to have a chat with Governor Charles Balogun” Zeus explained “You can all go prepare; Machine, I’ll call you later today” Zeus said and they left except Luke “Hey what about me?” Luke asked and Zeus walked to him “I have another mission for you” Zeus said smiling and put his arm around Luke’s shoulder “I want you to keep an eye on my sister” Zeus said and Luke was a little surprised ‘Yeah I know it’s weird but I’ll be travelling tomorrow and you are the only one capable of this job” he said “Did you know that Jameel was in Abu Dhabi with us?” Zeus asked and Luke was surprised. He saw Jameel but refused to believe it was her but he didn’t know that Zeus knew too “What? Where did you see her?” “At Aziz party” “I knew it” Luke said to himself; he knew it was her but his mind didn’t want him believing it; how could she have followed them all the way and for what? “I saw her but pretended I didn’t” Zeus said “Why would she follow us?” Luke asked “She wants to be part of what we doing but I don’t want that” “I understand” “She’s a woman and this blood spill is not for women, it would be a very big shame if a woman is involved. If I needed women in the team then she could be one of them but no” “I understand you” “Thank you and that’s why I chose you” “I’ll do it” Luke said as they walked outside “Good but don’t make her know you’re following her because I know she will leave this house once am out, so help me keep an eye on her. I don’t want those men touching her” “Ain’t gonna happen” Luke said “Zeus?” Haliya called from a balcony upstairs and they both looked up “Hey baby, what’s up?” Zeus said ‘Don’t baby me, I need you in the room now” she said with authority ‘Yes her royal highness” he said “Stop goofing around and get up here now” she said and Luke laughed “Hi Haliya” Luke said “Hey Luke how you doing?” “Am okay thank you” “You look cute” she said “Thanks” he said “Really? Am over here” Zeus said “What are you jealous?” she said “Of cause I am” he said “Well, then stop bringing your look alike to the house” “Please guy I don’t wanna be a marital problem” Luke said “(Laughs) In your dreams, get out of here” Zeus said smiling “Have a nice day Luke” “And you too” he said “Zeus, come up here, we got unfinished business in the room” she said “On my way” he said running inside…
